Welcome to the black market! Here there be monsters!

The purpose of this shop is for players to not necessarily know what they are going to get- to discover and decide for themselves how their pet grows! (If you would like hints to what may hatch from our eggs, check out my deviantart account for clues!)

I'm working on my senior thesis next semester which should be exciting. Sadly this means the shop will be very slow, for quite a while... there may be a new pet or some slots open at times, but don't expect much. Thank you for your understanding. heart

Remember: Please relax and have fun with your pets, even if you may not have gotten what you expected from a new evolution. They love you regardless of what you grow up to be, so it'd be nice of you to do the same ninja
Begging for a pet will get you nowhere. Do you really wanna beg for blobs of monstery wiggliness anyways? XD
No advertising in this thread, requesting a link trade is quite fine though! :3

-FAQ-

How many stages does each pet have? Each pet has 8 potential stages, but you have to choose which adolescent and adult forms it grows into. You will see 4 forms from one egg- egg, child, adolescent of your choice and adult of your choice.
What is the growth pattern? Egg- 5 days, Child- 9 days, Adolescent- 2 weeks, Adult- Complete
How much are eggs? 7-10k, higher prices for customs.
How many babies do the monsters have? Usually 2, one for each owner.
May I have multiple pets? Sure :3 The current limit is 2 right now. This limit will increase when more bogii types are available.
Are they RP required? Nope :B
Can I rp myself along with my monster, or rp only the monster? You may RP either.
Can I RP without a monster? Why not?
Do they talk to humans? It is believed that they understand human speech, and some may respond in our own language. Some are more eloquent than others, some don't speak at all.

"I didn't make him cry. He's hungry." Karina chuckled as she stepped back to stand beside Rigel and her children who were listening carefully to their father, wide eyed and attentive.
"Okay. we won't make him cry." All three of them said at once as they looked over to their mother.
"Mommy you cried?" Malakai asked, a worried look on his face as he rested his hand on her knee. Karina nodded.
"I did." SHe said as she gently pulled her hair over her shoulder and ran her fingers through it.
"I got upset with him because, if I can rember correctly, I thought he hated me and-"
"YOU HATED MOMMY?!" The twins exclaimed as they both pointed up to their father with wide eyes.
"Awwwwwh~! That's not nice!" Taelynn said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I think he's hungry." Aiaka said as she reached down to the end of the bed and picked up Aidan's baby blanket that Mi Cha had made and draped it over her chest as she gently pull her hospital gown down off one shoulder and unclasped her bra.
"Here Niko, let me feed him." She said as she held her arms out to take the baby.

"Shut up Ryuji, I'm not in the mood." Abel mumbled as he watched Adair get up to leave.
"Where are you going?" He sighed and got up, gently laying Aiaka's camera down on the sofa before he picked up his keys and wallet and followed after her.
"What's gotten into you....?" He asked, catching up to her at the elevators.

"Stop flickin' me." Aiyanna growled as she flicked him back on his arm with a little grin.
"Don't kill each other you two." Mia giggled as she watched Aiyanna stand up to Ryuji.
"I can't flick you harder than that." She said as she stepped forward and tripped over her feet and headbutted Ryuji hard in the crotch.
"Daddy I'm sorry!" Aiyanna exclaimed as she pushed herself up and tapped his leg.
"Sorry!"

"Oh, Keiro..." She mumbled through gritted teeth as she reached up with a shaky hand and gently took his that he offered to her.
"I...uhm..." She mumbled, her cheeks blushing a deep red as she looked up into his eyes.
"I...get cramps sometimes from my chemo.." She said as she fell forwards against him., gripping the side of his shirt.
"Hnng! Oww!" She exclaimed, gently lifting her head from Keiro's chest as she gasped and stepped back from him, her hands shaking.
"Oh my gosh...I'm....I'm so sorry...I..." She mumbled, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I didn't mean..." She mutter quickly, clumsily backing into the kitchen table. She looked down for a moment and then quickly ran out of the room with tears streaming down her face as she headed for her downstairs bathroom, quickly shutting the door behind her.
"क्या मैं में अपने आप को मिल गया है?" She cried softly in Hindi as she sat down on the floor of her purple and gold bathroom, gripping the cashmere rug beneath her with one hand and the other covering her mouth to hide her sobs.

Items that change colors, make patterns, prevent growth, revert to a previous form, and give your monster a hat. biggrin

BREEDING

To breed your monsters, you and your friend must have adult monsters and send a trade titled 'romantic evening with ____'s monster'. After a while your monster will lay eggs, each of you can choose then which egg to take or wait for them to hatch. You may breed two of your own monsters if you like.

The potential of breeding is endless with these monsters, as you are able to breed any type with another. Unique traits from either type will mesh into a whole new monster- you may even breed the same types again, and get a new result! In order to breed, you and another player must purchase a Romantic Evening for your two monsters to spend together. heart
These crossbreeds will not have multiple evolutionary forms and are sterile.

RP CONCEPT CONTEST

Ends:Wednesday November 18th 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time

Design one of the three universes in which you will roleplay with your bogii! Come up with any scenarios, metaplots, and NPCs. Let your imagination go wild~ wink If you are one of the three winners you will You will receive a semi-custom bogii that is related with your concept of the bogii universe! You will also have the option to become a moderator of your own subforum in my guild forum. There you can run your RP universe with my aid (in the form of some ideas, art, and banners).

Just fill this form out and PM it to me! Do not post it in the thread! I do not want anyone being influenced or intimidated by anyone else's idea. I will list the contestants and their concept names in this thread, but that is all.

What I will consider while judging: theme, creativity, roleplaying potential, intensity of roleplaying involved.

Please remember that when it comes to things like intensity or theme, I am not looking for a certain par as much as wanting a variety. I would like one lighter rp world and one more serious rp world, for example.

Should you choose to become a Moderator, these are the outlines. If you do not choose to become a moderator, I will still create a subforum for your world with World and Rp info for everyone:

I will create base rules that cover all forums, including yours.
I must approve of your roleplaying rules before they become official.
You may roleplay in the other universes, just remember you're not a moderator there and the rules may be different!
Do not feel that you are competing with the other universes for popularity, respect everyone's decisions to roleplay or not roleplay wherever they like.
Managing roleplaying is mainly your responsibility- I am too busy to run it all, but you are still free to PM me for whatever help you need.
If you need help you can hire it with my approval.
You may even hand the position over to someone else if need be, also with my approval.

A pitch black, slimy egg with an extremely squishy shell. As you hold it with both hands you can almost see a pale face inside...

Skullshroom Sprout
Whether it is some form of undead or animated fungus- the skull shroom is surprisingly shy. It seems to absorb dirt and decay through it's slimy, porous underbelly. It is afraid of the light and loves rainy days. It likes cuddling in particular, but usually has to settle for a pat on its bony head.

Skullshroom Sentinel
The mushrooms seem to thrive around the brain, which is becoming more active as well. They find raising and nurturing their crown of mushrooms vital, although the mushrooms may be feeding on the brain's activity. The skullshroom sentinel is more open to communication, though speech is still uncommon and usually sounds like gibberish.

As it's body elongates, it is able to absorb more and grow a greater amount of mushrooms. It emanates a rich, earthy smell. Some mushrooms are edible, though others may be poisonous. The slug has become more venturous in the wild, hoping to collect and nurture any specimens it comes across.

Nightfire Wisp
A will-o-wisp of sorts, this intangible creature is more active at night and burns with a surprisingly cool flame. It's expression never seems to change, but it's flame will shrink and grow or become hot and cool with each emotion. It is quiet yet intensely curious- it enjoys playing tricks and winning staring contests.

Nightfire Swift
A more concrete form, the Nightfire Swift can now run on either two or four legs, leaving glowing trails of firelight. It's highly acute ears can hear ghosts and spirits. It is secretive of it's love for dancing in the moonlight- If you are lucky you may hear one sing, which varies from howls to warbles to trills- all eerily airy.

Nightfire Grim
The Nightfire's flame has taken the form of firey tentacles, while the rest of it's body has ossified. It can no longer pass through walls, and has small winglike appendages to aid in movement and touch. It enjoys scaring away people more directly with this creepier form, then dissecting and consuming any objects they leave behind with it's firey touch.

A pill shaped egg that holds something warm and rustling inside... It hums with a low vibration when exposed to moonlight.

Mothyme Crawlie
These small balls of fur are friendly but voracious, nibbling and feeling just about anything with it's soft pedipalps. It doesn't seem to have good vision, but has an amazing sense of it's surroundings. It looks light, but feels incredibly heavy. Its antennae hum and glow in moonlight.

Mothyme Glider
The Mothyme has developed wings, but they can only glide at this age.Its wings shimmer with a soft reflection, slowly changing color and matching its surroundings. It is quite nocturnal, feeding off moonlight at night and melding into whatever surface it sleeps on during the day. It is most remarkable at night- with its wings reflecting starlight while humming softly in the wind.

Mothyme Mote
This fairy-like Mothyme is incredibly light and small, resembling a large dust speck or paper doll. It is highly in tune with the movements of celestial bodies, and has an uncanny sense of direction. It aids those who are lost, and reads fortunes by sensing individuals with their antennae. It loves the taste of poppy and rosemary flowers, and will perform soothsaying tasks in exchange for them.
