Colorings Campchurch can come in any color.
Diet Fish and seaweed, occasionaly grass on land.
Size Females are a bit larger than males, but both are about the size of a medium-sized horse when adults.
Intellegence Campchurch are at least as smart as, if not more than, humans.

...Stages...

Egg Your little Campchurch is still in it's shell. They are fragile at this stage, so take care of them, and don't make too much noise.

Child These guys are full and energy and swimming everywhere they can, alway looking for new things. But, be wary, for predators lurk in the water, so don't let them swim too far, or they might never come back. Also, walking on land is very hard for them, most of the time they just fall down, but practice does help.

Adult At this stage in life, they are very graceful in water and on land. Adults are expected to protect the young ones in the pod, and a few at a time will be sent to bring schools of live fish for the younglings to try and catch.

...Story...

You would've called it a paradise, if you had lived there. Kahti Island, a place of wonder and freedom. In the past the people lived in harmony with the land and sea. But the outside world was in utter chaos, war and terror had corrupted the outside world. The islanders knew that it would only be a little while before the outsiders would ruin their peaceful home. They prayed to the gods to keep them safe but a few days later the first group came.
Ships a mile high armed with ugly guns of destruction, threatened th island. A group of large men jumped down from the ship to greet the startled islanders. They were wide and menacing and demanded that the villagers surrender to them. It was then that the island leader devised a plan in hopes of getting rid of the unwanted guests.
"We will surrender, but first you must let us pack, return in five days and we will be ready to leave." The other islanders were astonished at their leaders decision, and they hung their heads. The men from the ship laughed and agreed and climbed up to their ship and sailed away. The islanders slowly started to walk to their huts to pack but their leader stopped them.
"Soon, the other side of the warring party will visit us, it is then that we will tell them to come back, and then the two will battle for our island but will be too tired to conquer us." The islanders looked up at their leader and praised him, knowing that the plan would work.
As the island leader guessed, the next day the other war party arrived on the island. They were tall and skinny, and did not look like the type to fight, but they had the smarts. They asked the islanders to surrender peacefully and they would allow them to keep their homes, but under their supervision. Once again the leader spoke up.
"We will surrender, but we will move, we are free from any of your binds. Come back in four days and we will be ready to leave." The tall men nodded and agreed to come back in four days. They were more polite but, the islanders wanted their island and not to be controlled by someone else.
The islanders prayed and prayed that their island would be saved by the gods. The night before the two warring parties were to come back, the islanders packed their things just in case their plan did not work.
It was around midday that the first warring party showed up, the big menacing men were hooting and shouting from the ship, ready to take over, even if they were far from shore. But then the second warring party showed up and both parties started to shout at each other, both claiming the island. Soon they started to fire upon one another, stray cannon balls and other projectiles were landing dangerously close to the island. The islanders panicked and picked up their things, ready to leave their now chaotic island. The warring parties where moving closer and closer to the island and the shore started to collect cannonballs. The islanders fled to the other side of the island, they knew if they had enough boats, they could escape to an island not far away that was just like this one, there were only three boats. Women and children were piled into the boats and one man on each boat to paddle them to safety. Half of the islanders were still left, and their fate did not look good. The islanders thought, how could the gods betray them like this? How could they have let their peaceful island be attacked by savage people? A long range cannonball was shot and clearly missed its blank target and its new target was one of the islanders small boats.
The gods looked down upon their loveable islanders, and knew that they were in danger. For five days the gods had been working on something to help the islanders survive this awful fate. Born from water, wind and compassion, the gods created a new kind of animal. A heart of gold and They knew that it would be more helpful than any weapon. They sent down the first three that they had made to help the islanders.
The cannonball was closing in fast and the paddler of the boat could not paddle fast enough to evade it. Suddenly the boat gained an extra burst of speed away from the invading iron ball. The boat slowed down as soon as they arrived at the new island and the islanders knew that the gods had saved them. The other two boats had also arrived. The women and children piled out onto the island so the boats could go back to get their families. The paddlers started paddling back but the boats rushed back to the old island. The rest of the islanded stared in amazement and climbed aboard and were carried to the new island. The islanders looked back to their old island, the invaders had started to fight in the sand, the ships sunk into the hungry ocean. They watched the men die, killing each other, not even figuring out that the islanders escaped and there no way of going home. Every last one of the invaders was killed, the last one dying of mortal wounds. The islanders were horrified that something like this had happened but were grateful to the gods for helping them. Suddenly they saw dolphins jump in the sunlight. But... they didn't look like dolphins, or any other kind of creature the islanders have seen. The animals jumped up and dove back into the ocean happily, they knew that they had done a good deed. The islanders cheered on the animals, full knowing that they were the ones who helped them.
The islanders rebuilt their homes and had settled in, their new friends who had saved their lives had gone a long time ago. They wondered where they went but knew they were a gift from the gods.

Map

Kahti Island
The island is made up of mostly grasslands. There is one vast forest, but two areas that are 'deep forest' known as the Mahrichi and the Nurah. There is the Kitiwah Desert and the Zerahn Mountains, which has three peaks.

The Mahrichi is is the larger of the two forests and lies on the northern part of the island. The river Furdahr is said to originate from a spring from the uncharted areas of the Mahrichi Forest.

The Nurah is smaller than its cousin, and rests on the northwest side of the island.

The Kitiwah Desert is shaped like a fish and has a part of the river flowing through it, where the city Kitiwah is established. It is located on the east side of the island.

The Zerahn Mountain Range is on the southwest side of the island.

The Cresent Bay is located on the south side of the island, and the port city of Bahtu resides to the east, nestled between two branches of the river.

Here are some questions and answers, if you do not see your question here, then either PM this mule or post it in the thread.

Hullo! I am new here... How do I get one?
Well, first I'd like to say "Welcome!" There are a few ways to get a Campchurch. One way is to win one from an auction, or buy one from a flatsale. You can also get a Campchurch from auctions, or perhaps someone may give one to you. Raffles are also a possibility.

What is a Campchurch? Are there other names to call them?
They are a kind of sea unicorn creature. You can call them Mericorns or Sea Unicorns, besides calling them Campchurch.

How much does one cost?
Flatesales are 5k for all stages and 2-3k for adult Campchurch.

Do I direct link?
Yes, until adult stage. Certs will be updated from the same link, and uncerted growings will be posted in the thread.

How long will it take for my Campchurch to grow?
Probally from a couple days to a week, maybe longer. It depends, if you have a potion on it that makes it not grow, then it won't.

How do I get my Campchurch to join/make a pod?
When you have a specific pod in mind to join, please make sure you ask the pod leader's(/s') owner first, then have the pod leader's(/s') owner PM this account saying you can join, or have them post it in the thread. If your looking to create a pod, PM this account with the pod name, it's leader(s) and other Campchurch joining and their jobs.

I need something changed on the cert of my Campchurch, how can I get this done?
A few ways this can be corrected. One, you could post in the thread with the cert of your pet and say what is wrong, one of the staff members will fix it. Two, you could PM the colorist(if they don't mind being PMed) who colored your Campchurch and see if they can fix it. Three, if a certer is ever hired, you can ask them. ^^

...Pods...

Pods are that which the Campchurch live in. Pods can reach up to the number of 15 individuals, almost always led by an Alpha(or they can also be called Alphess). Usually, there is only one Alpha, but occasionaly, two siblings may lead the pod togethor. Sometimes, if an Alpha dies and there is no other Alpha around take the late one's place, two things may happen. One, the pod may decide to break up and go their seperate ways. Two, the pod may decide to stick togethor and travel about, looking for a new Alpha; at times like this, the strongest would take the temperary place of the Alpha.

Protector: Defends the pod against enemies and watches the younglings
Hunter: Provides food for the pod
Commoner: Has no specific job, usually helps with things all around

Not available at this time.
When two Campchurch breed, the number of foals can be from 1-4. Same gender pairings are acceptable, but there must be a donor/host for foals to be born. A donor/host has a chance of affecting the foals' coloring.
