The part done in this thread is now over, but since Thymal was having **serious internet issues** he will be personally interviewing participants of this event by PM over the next week or so ^_^ Thymal's internet hopefully should be fixed on Wednesday...

_______________ The Event!

This will be an RP event! All Owners and lurkers are welcome to participate. The Mist and Dust Storm wethkin must go to people happy and willing to RP them! I do not want to let them collect dust!

WARNING: If the winners do not RP within 7 days of receiving them, Thymal and Noctryn WILL NOT BE HAPPY domokun

Side Effects may include: grey listing, post swarms by angry wethkin NPCs, repeated drowning attempts, stinky socks, loud crying, dog attacks, killer bees, killer spiders, bad grammar etc.

Hehe just kidding. Well, the NPCs might swarm you but seriously! These two wethkin are RARE! You must be willing to RP them 3nodding

"Welcome to this wonderful event! Today myself and Thymal are holding a contest to find two new guardians for a Mist wethkin and a Dust Storm wethkin. This is a very important job young humans! You are going to be bonding with a magical creature! Helping it to grow and learn its magical abilities and all that fun stuff. I hope your intentions are good cause we will be giving you tasks to complete and questions to answer! Please read all of what Pika-Bunny has to say as well. The main event is my Scavenger Hunt!




_______________Setting:

This event is being held in the Summer garden behind the Wethkin Shoppe.

Noctryn will be giving out tasks to people as will Thymal.

Thymal should be asking you questions to find out what kind of guardian you'll be.

Chera and Noctryn have offered to help if you have questions.

Please stay in character.

Out of character comments should be double bracketed like ((( this. ))

Be polite and resonable and have fun!

OOC Hints
(( I am looking for very descriptive settings here people so talk your time exploring ^_^
Also I recommend using pictures on google to show what you've found. Obviously some flowers don't bloom in summer so you must pay attention to that as well! ))


________________All RP rules from the shoppe are in effect. Specifically:

Please FORMALLY RP always.

- No God-modding or godly characters. No Mary-Sues or other annoying stereotypes. No one is perfect. No Copyrighted characters either, fan characters, if not breaking of any other rules, are fine. No relations of any Copyrighted characters either - you are not Sailor Moon's great-grandmother.

- Other 'children' or pets are alright to RP if it makes sense (ie. if the shop they are from says not to, then don't) but please post a picture of them so we know what you are talking about. Please try and RP only 1 at a time at most.

'Where is that Thymal?' Noctryn wondered to herself as she floated around the garden. He should be here already with the mist egg since he seemed so eager to give it into a human's care. She frowned as she heard a wooosh-woosh behind her and turned just to be hit by a buffet of hot dry air.

"Dust puff, I am warning you~!" she directed with gritted teeth at the small gold beetle-like wethkin. It just grinned at her, showing off two rows of pointed teeth. "Someone save me from this thing!" she bemoaned melodramatically. "I hate being a babysitter!" she shrieked as the dust storm puff decided to try biting her arm.

In his own arms he carried the mist egg. The surface swirled a steady twisting of white and some parts looked even see through. "I see that you are here on time. I apologize for my tardiness...I wanted to spruce up the mist egg before showing up." the egg did look very sparkle right now, and though it was being cushioned by his arms he also had a uprooted flower. "I thought i would bring this specimen as well." he said as he quickly but gently placed the egg down and with the use of quick magic planted the flower again. The flower though looked bit wilted seem to draw strength from the mist egg and even seem to cradle its petals around the egg. "Strangest thing I have ever seen...." he muttered before turning fully to the young wethkin before him. "How are things going? Has anyone else shown up?"[/b][/color]

"No no no biting!" Noctryn sharply said before smacking the dust beetle puff on the shell. It wasn't smling anymore. In fact it look like would be holding its tail between its legs, if it had a tail that is.

"Dss dya dyaaaa~!" It whined at her. Then quickly zipped around her and licked the side of her face.

"Yuck!" she said as Thymal was talking. "Well your charge seems alot better behaved then mine at the moment," she almost snickered. "No one has shown up yet. I think we may have to get Pika to send proper invitations out to people!" she nodded. "Or maybe we can get her to put up balloons or something?" she said as she spun around the garden looking for spots they could decorate.

(( Yup! Everyone can participate! People that can win are those that have no wethkin or those that have a child wethkin. Anyone currently with a puff saddly cannot win in this event. Also it doesn't matter if you have spritkin either. Those people could win too. ))

Chera had been for hte most part out of the loop some could say. Her mother had been very busy lately and she was starting to feel ignored. She floated her head down cast into the summer garden. She heard there was going to be a special event...she hoped she wasn't going to be too late.

She came into the garden and looked around instantly noticing the Elder wethkin and Noctyrn. It had been a long time since she had seen her own kind she felt a little sad and yet happy.

"Ello!" she called out with a wave to the pair. She floated up to them both and noticed a very strange little puff that was licking the dark purple skinned wethkin. "Oh your such a little cutey!" she cried out noticing just how different the little wethkin looked. Almost beatle like. It was very unique.

HIs runes goowed fiercly for but a moment. "I like them better that way." he said giving a curt nod to the new arrival and crossing his arms. It seemed evident that he wasn't looking forward to this gathering, he barely liked children as it was, and large crowds of humans also made him nervous. "You know youngling," he said turning to Noctyrn, his eyes were low and nearly slits as he eye'd her. "YOu are probably nearing the time of tasks.. surely you have developed your abilities somewhat. At least more than the others I have met." Right now he was focused on the black ice wethkin with some scrutiny.[/b][/color]

"Oh, hello Chera!" Noctryn called out to the approaching snow wethkin. "You like this guy?" she said gesturing at the gold beetle puff. "You're welcome to have him for the day if you want," she said pushing the puff towards her. "I warn you though, it's a hot and dry sort of wethkin. It makes my skin itch!" she moaned. "what have you been up to lately? You haven't come around the shoppe in ages."

She looked over her shoulder to see what Thymal was doing. "Tasks?" she asked innocently. 'Oh not more homework' she was bemoaning internally.

Chera gave a wamr smile to Noctyrn it had been a long time since she had seen her. And now that she thought back she hadn't actually SEEN Noctyrn since she had become a nymph-child. She gazed over Noctyrn and felt herself blush a little in envy.

"Your looking good Noctyrn..." she said and then noticed what she had been talking about. The dust storm puff was dry....and hot. She could already feel her skin starting to dry out and her throat felt a bit sparce. She increased the aura of cold around her and felt immediately better.

She puffed out the side of her cheek in annoyance at being ignored by the elder puff.. apparantly she wasn't interesting enough...she would show him.

Xee had been watching the shop for a short time, but found a drawing aura around it. She followed around to the back where the garden was. She was not quite sure that she would be welcomed but smiled anyway as she walked slowly into the garden. She wanted to at least partake in an adventure even if it were a small and simple one.

"Hello? Is there anyone here?" she could smell the greens from the garden and smiled at the thought of a warm summer day with lemonade to cool one off in the heat.
