Many people feel that the new main image for the site isn't very gaia-ish any more. The classic pink logo has been removed and the picture in the circle has not in the style that gaia was founded upon. If you don't like this, you can change it! Yes, you can customie it to be your own image! All you need are a few things.
Most importantly you will need firefox. If you haven't already downloaded firefox, do it - now. Internet explorer is not safe at all. It is full of security holes and is vulnerable to tons of exploits. Not to mention that firefox is much more superior anyway. It has tabbed browsing and tons of other features. You can get firefox here.
Once you have firefox installed, you need to install something called an extension. Extensions are little addons that you can download to allow firefox to do many more things. The extension you will be using is called stylish. You can download it by clickinghere. The steps for installing it are below.
- Click install now.
Wait for the counter to finish, and then cluick on install now.
You will see a bar fill up while it quickly installs. After this, you must restart firefox
After that, reopen firefox. You will now see a little logo that looks like a piece of paper with a paint brush in the lower right hand corner. Look below for how to install the code. I have provided the code that you will need below as well.
- Click on the little image in your lower right hand corner and select create style.
Enter "Gaia Header" for your description in the place where there is the number 5.
Pase the code below in the section where there is a 6. Note: You must insert the url of the image that you would like to use
