Kuang Hu
Kuang Hu
- Hair: Blackish dark brown with dyed yellow streaks
- Eyes: yellow eyes
- Sex: Male
- Appearant Age: looks 20 but he's over 4 thousand years old
- Body: buff and rough
- Animal God: the Tiger
- Affiliations: Zodiac god and a member of the Four Gods
- More Info:
Kuang Hu is one of the most powerful animal gods in the zodiac, the Tiger, and is he's Chinese. He's also one of the Four Gods. He appears to have a hidden personal agenda. Kuang Hu is a loner. He takes his job and powers responsibly, if somewhat reluctantly. He's surly and unsocialable with most of his zodiac peers even though they continue to respect him, and at times lightly tease him. Not because he spites them personally, but it's more than hinted at that he's withholding a great deal of personal secrets, and it's just easier keeping everything to himself. Kuang Hu never complains. He just sulks. Which of course results in the impression that Kuang Hu is mean, when really he's sensitive, just distanced. He is not a p***k.
Originally he was more of a street punk character with a brash attitude and a loud mouth. This was of course back in the day and while I still liked the reckless attitude, Kuang Hu's dark side kept growing. This is probably due to the fact that I based his design off the character Roger in "RENT" (ya know, the Broadway musical?) and the notion of the quietly tortured soul kept rubbing off on me. O.o;;;
Tony / Meishuu
Tony
- Hair: Black hair
- Eyes: black eyes
- Sex: Male
- Appearant Age: 20
- Body: sorta lanky build
- Animal God: the Rat ( well used to I'd guess O.o;; )
- Affiliations: Zodiac god
- More Info:
Tony's the average joe, the protagonist who's (inevitable) job is to be thrown in a big angsty mess and make everything all right again. But he can't complain. Why? Cuz I gave him a cute kitty Maocat sidekick. But anyway, the story goes, Tony bumps into a mysterious girl (Mao) one New Years eve and soon after discovers he is reincarnation of the zodiac Rat God, Meishuu. And turns out, this is a good time to know because it just so happens the whole godly universe is out to get him.
Anyway, despite the fact that he is a generic hero, I am quite fond of the boy, which should be obvious by the fact that I like to make him look pwitty. He's not perfect, rather naive actually compared to everyone else, but he tries. He has a bit of a guilty complex, and willingly fights for the zodiac gods and is especially protective over Mao even after they've revealed themselves as questionable allies.

Tony's alter ego, on the other hand, is something quite different. Not much is known about him or how he disappeared except that he was a jerk to some and did some bad things in the past that Tony now has to deal with. Even so, he was a charismatic figure and those who didn't hate him, admired him. It's also hinted at that there was something between him and Mao at some point.
Mao
Mao
Hair: Darkish brown hair
Eyes: yellow eyes
Sex: Female
Appearant Age: 18 but really she's REAL old 0.0;;;
Body: short stature
Animal God: the Cat
Affiliations: none
More Info:
Mao the outcast of the gods, starts off as a villian of sorts with the intention of killing Tony/Meishuu, but gradually changes her mind. Having spent several lifetimes bent on murder and revenge, she really doesn't have anything to live for, and is torn between wanting to kill Tony and wanting to be his friend. In other words, this girl has Issues. She also spends part-time as a kitty (whom I fondly call Maocat) and has the tendency to attract kitty-crowds.
At some point in Mao's youth she must've been happy and innocent but whatever happiness she had was short lived after she fell in love with Meishuu. Deep down she really does want to be Tony's friend, and as she doesn't really have any friends of her own, this would be a happy change for her. But she remains stubborn and refuses to give in to this illusion of happiness lest it harms her again. Too much angst? But at least now, she fell in love with the Tony, not the Past Meishuu ^^;;;
I also want to point out that she's old even if she doesn't look or act it the slightest. Despite being around for a while Mao's still pretty naive, in that most of her life she's been doing things others have told her or brainwashed her to do. Also, she is Kuang Hu's little sister.
