Due to the large number of first-generation fairies already in existence, I have decided to slow down creation of custom and random feien to nil. I am offering a few chances to obtain a custom before I stop doing them completely (or a least for any time in the foreseeable future).

The first chance for a custom is in my art contest. There are two feien available in the contest: one custom and one non-custom.

The second chance is a custom auction which I will be running towards the middle of the month, after stage one of the writing contest is complete. The auctioned custom includes a free breeding.

The third chance is this writing contest. One talented writer will win a totally custom feien. (But no free breeding. Sorry!) This custom can include up to three rare attributes and a mutation, if desired.

There is an entry fee of 500g. The contest will take place in two phases -- three if necessary.

The first phase is the feien design phase and writing sample. You'll need to fill out the custom form, write a small description of yourself (particularly as you being a part of the roleplaying) and write a small something involving your feien somehow. Points will be awarded for creativity, command of English, and your feien design. Stage one ends May 15th. I'll select those entries I like to proceed on to stage two.

Stage two will be an interactive roleplay stage. You and your feien will roleplay with Corvus, Simon, or myself. This stage will last for a week, from May 16th-May 22nd. Other current feien are welcome to participate, however, if you are a current feien owner and are entering the contest, you may not use your existing feien in the roleplay. The RP will NOT be official -- as far as main feien events are concerned, it does NOT exist. Points for quality and quantity of posting.

If needed, there will be a third stage in which selected participants will write a sample diary entry. This will only be in the event that I can't decide a winner based on stages one and two. So we'll see.

The "points" are not actually some sort of hard numbers system... more like brownie points. ^^ They will not be actually tabulated.

Phase One Information

For phase one, you'll need a few things. First, state that you wish to enter on this thread. Then you'll need to pay the 500g entry fee and get started on your entry! Phase one ends May 15th, and your entry must be in on or before the 14th.

For the first part of your entry, fill out the custom form, indicating any rare attributes desired, and noting whether or not you want a mutation. Rare Attributes are listed on the main thread. Yes, you may ask for an unknown rare attribute, but please know that most attributes people ask for (tails, fur, double horns, super-long ears, new wing styles) are only available through random mutation. If you want to try and get an unknown rare attribute, you'll have to talk with me about it before turning in your entry, since you may not edit your entry once you've turned it in.



I'd also like to know a bit about you as the human character your feien is bonded to. Please write a description of yourself, any length desired, any format.

And lastly, please write something about your feien. It can be anything! A diary entry, a short story, an idea for a quest -- you can write as much or as little as you want and you may write more than one thing. Please do not involve any existing feien in your writing.

Once you're written to your own satisfaction, PM your entry to me. Be sure you've edited it and checked it over to make sure it's what you want! You may NOT edit your entry after you've sent it to me.
