L.O.L. in a Nutshell!

Soooo, are you now wondering what Legion of Literates has to offer for you and your talented skills? Well, this here will explain just about everything! (Or most of!) So, if you want to read about the sections, what you can do, contests and other special events just check this out!
The Role Playing: -What the guild's all about!-
Role playing in Legion of Literates is as simple as Barton Town. We're just merely... Literate! You may start up as many RPs as you like, may join as many as you like, and just have fun with it! The section for your role playing will go in the General RP section in the subforums! At the moment, I think we've got quite a vareity. We have from Norse Mythology, Samurai, Futuristic, Horror, Fantasy, -even- FF8, Epic Sagas, Free Form RPs, and a very interesting, fun way to RP that you've probably never even heard of in an RP called Celestial Point of Respawning! You play from a selected list of characters by the direction of the person above you, or even create somethign totally new--- if confused, try and check it out! There are also subforums on the main page that lead to many role plays from various members!
Now, as soon as you join the guild, we understand you may be looking for the right role play, so don't feel pressured on joining any when you just start. There's plenty to read with plenty of time!
The Main Forum:
The Main Forum, where you navigate from, is newly organized and in tip-top shape thanks to the vice captain! Here you will find updates for ALL around the guild, where your forums may be moved to and the descriptions of ALL the forums, where main contests will be held, and where you can give yourself a simple or wonderfully written out introduction! You can also look and see in the Open RP section what rps are actually roleplaying that you can join and start automacially in! A plus feature is our birthday list, where you come and tell your birthday and can chat and we'll be sure to send you something special! =3
The Sub-forums:
We have many sub-forums in L.O.L. From the reaches of your talent in art, to the OOC where you plot your role plays, from the Anti-Writer's Block where you can post your stories and poetry, even review, to the special events thread and even more rps with seperate sub-forums! We also have a comminuty discussion thread called the Melting Pot where you can discuss your favorite interests like a renewed, clean, and interesting chatterbox. Although the guild''s for role playing, we can all chat too, right!?
Also. If you have a semi-lit friend, or even a literate, who would love to improve their skills, we have a school for teaching and helping literates with members and crew as their teachers! Even though it's a literate guild, semi-lits and people who want to imrpove strongly are given a trial period! Want to learn more? Check out the expectations below!
The Contests:
And just because it's a role playing guild doesn't mean we don't have CONTESTS! Yes, people, contests. Right now we have one contest on the go:
The One-Liner contest is my personal contest that will ALWAYS be running. It is a conest where you take a one-liner rp post from the selection, which there will be 1-10 every month, and use that either as a sentence in a creative response, theme, or even a full out rp post. The possibilities you could do with a one-liner should be beyond your creativity! The contest will last for 17-18 days until the winners are decided by me and helps of crew members not joined if they want to help, and then the winner will recieve either a sealed letter, donation item from 10-15k, or a different item around the likes! New contests start on the first of every month.
Special Events:
Special events is a new feature we crew membes are working on. You'll have to keep watching and stay guessing for the upcoming one we have planned and more to come! =D
