I need to have a talk with my colorists, I'll probably be pm'ing most with this if I don't see a response.

Alright, there was a question from one of our customers on the method of flatsales that we have here at FCAA. I can see thiis person's view point fully and I think it is only fair that I immediately put this rule into effect.

Flatsale Rule.

New owners get first pick and a 1k discount off of reg fluffy cats.

Flatsales will be on a first come first serve basis or via prompt or contest if it's a high interest flatsale.

In ALL flatsales, unless the cat has been on sale for over twenty-four hours the customer may only purchase one cat, giving other's an opportunity to try and get a cat if they want too, due to slow servers, not there at the time, and all the other reasons that people may not be there right when the flat opens.

and on a side note, I want to start a newbie section of FCAA, this will be a place where a new person can get a fluffy for a discount or even free through a contest or other such event. I want to attract new people and renew the vigor of the thread even if we are one of the most active thread in the BCP.

I've been looking into the elemental rp, there are two people Water Ele and Fire Ele that have not posted there. If this continues the Water and Fire Demi-Gods will go up for auction for all were warned that these were rp intensive.

I'm going to check out the roleplay thread to see how active it has been. I know Sagi is going through a lot right now and I'm going through a lot so I'm really not expecting to see that much going on but it would be nice to be wrong which I'm the first one to admit it happens often.

3/3/05-Well, I've decided to do something nice. I'm going to allow people to color one Fluffy Cat and one Egg for the Easter Basket Charity thing. Everyone has heard the story, at least those of us that have been with the Fluffy Cats from the beginning. Of how magic brought life to these tiny creatures that grow into beautiful winged Cats that we lovingly call Fluffy Cats. But there are so many unanswered questions! How did this magic come to Forest Greenkay? Why are new breeds of Fluffy Cat appearing from the seemingly same balls of fluff as the regular Fluffy Cats? Well, it happened a long time ago....

Back when the world was new, there was a war on the lands that are now known as the Greenkay Forest. There was mass destruction, magic's were used and the land was burned, charred beyond repair. Or so it would seem at first. Those responsible for this carnage are long since dead and the Fluffy Cats have no knowledge of them. Though deep within the woods to the west where the dark trees grow, it may be possible to find the ruins to this ancient civilization and perhaps even books that recorded what had happened here. But that was so long ago, does it even matter what evils had befallen them then? Maybe it does, maybe just maybe the lives of the Fluffy Cats are still affected by what had happened back then.

These....new breeds. Oh, some of lovely and a welcome addition to the Fluffy Cat family. Angels, Faeries and Butterfly Fluffy Cats dwell within the forest with the other's now. But they are not the only ones, oh no. Now there are demons and vampires as well, a darker side to the sweet creature that is slowly starting to manifest out of the western wood. Some demons as well as some vampires, may not be all that evil, but there are some that would send chills to the very bones of the Fluffy Cats if only they knew about them. And now, there is a dark angel, an aberration of the beautiful Angelic Fluffy Cat. Just what is happening within the forest to bring about these things?

This is a continuing story, there will be more added to it as time passes and the Fluffy Cats grow and learn more about why they are here and what had happened in the time before they had come to life. There are many secrets to discover, one of the most recent has been the Fluffy Cats born with magical abilities all their own when before, they were little more then winged Cats.

It is the original, the first to fall from the branch so to speak. The Fluffy Cat can vary in temperment just like normal cats, or even humans. They can be kind or they can be cruel. Yet the kind variety is more often found then the other, by nature they are a good breed.

Butterfly- With their delicate wings the Butterfly is the next most common of the Fluffy Cats. They are weaker in form then the normal fluffy cats, their wings barely able to hold them aloft. But they are kind and generous, a sweet breed that like to befriend every cat they meet, this can be considered another of their flaws.

Faerie- The pranksters of the breeds of Fluffy Cat, they take delight at having fun at another's expense. While most of the time these pranks are harmless there have been times when the Fae have come across someone they don't like have have show a particular viscious streak. The faerie are the swiftest of the Fluffy Cat breeds, able to zip around like humming birds, just a bit small then the other's of their kind.

Vampire- This breed feeds off the living blood of other Fluffy Cats. While they are not 'dead' they do show the vampiric nature of being evil and very manipulative. They are highly charismatic when it comes to getting what they want and more oft then not it's the cat's neck their after. They are a breed to look out for, orginating from the Western wood.

Angelic- These are the Cats that will watch out for all that they believe are good and weaker then themselves. They are a proud breed, perhaps a bit too proud for their own good for even if they will rush off to the rescue of one that cries out in need, they are very aloof to anything other then another angelic. Perhaps this is why there have been rumors of dark Angelic's emerging.

Demonic- Evil. Yes, this is the only way to describe this race without delving into the depths of their twisted minds. They live for the torment of the innocent. Thirst for the pain of the weak. They would love nothing more then to cover the whole of Greenkay with the darkness that shrouds the Western Woods with their presence. Brave or foolish is the cat that decides to tred into their territory.

This ability give the Cat the power to summon mists around her and then she or he can actually merge with these mists. It's a form of defensive magic.

There will be more abilities available and a 'how to' on how to get your existing Fluffy Cat an ability through a blessing system. This shall be updated as information is gained.

Ability

Mist Weaver: This ability gives the Cat the power to summon mists around his or her form to conceal them from sight as well as allowing them to actually merge with the mists in a defensive manner.

3k for Adult Fluffy Cats
5k for Fluffballs.

Trades are to be sent to the colorist who is running the particular flatsale that you are buying from. Colorists are allowed to have 5 flatsale Fluffy Cats per week. 25% of sales are to go to + Within +

Specials

These are totally random prices, though they will be no less then 5k and will be no more then 30k for something that is very detailed and rare.

6k for Butterflies, Faeries, Vampires, Angelics and Demons in Flatsale

10k + for any of the above including regulars that have had the line art altered or have items put on them OR if they are started in the fluffball stage. Colorists are allowed to do two specials in their flatsales per month, these do take the place of two of your regular flatsales in the week that you run them. Again, 25% is to be sent to + Within + for sales.

Okay, now that we have some new types of Fluffy Cat I thought it would be a good time to list them here.

Anthros are 5k for regs in flatsale, 10k for for all special breeds.
Griffens are 5k for teen or Adult and 8k starting from the fluffball stage.

Auctions

All auctions will start with the bidding price of 3k for regulars and 5k for any of the other breeds of Fluffy Cat. Mininum Incriments will be 100g-250g depending on the auctioneer. Autobuy can be no less then 100k unless it is cleared through me first for a special circumstance ie: Auctioning of a Regular.

Remeber, anyone can auction the butterflies if you are a colorist for this shop, they are the second most common breed of Fluffy and if you need the lineart please send me a pm request.

Auctions should be run for 48 hours, giving everyone ample time to bid if they are interested. Colorists are only allowed to have 2 auctions a month.

Commissions

I've decided to change the prices of commissions. We only allow them in Fluffball format unless it is a Complex. This is just for the -Regular- Fluffy Cat

Simple Commissions (Up to two colors, no special markings) 6k from fluffball-adult
Detailed Commissions (Two or three colors with markings) 10k from fluffball-adult
Complex Commissions (Up to the individual colorist to quote a price.) ??k

Butterfly Commissions- 10k No alterations or items.

Special Commissions:

Currently only I will do Rare Commissions. Yes, I'm opening this up because there's been enough asking about it and sometimes it's difficult for people to get to the auctions and flatsales. But I still don't care for the idea and hence, it will be expensive to buy a custom special. But at least this way you know what you're getting.

Special Custom- 15k no alterations or items
Colorist available- + Within +
Races Availble- Faerie, Vampire

Rare Custom- 25k no alterations or items unless you have an agreement with the colorist.
Colorists available- + Within +
Races Availble- Demonic, Angelic.

Breeding

Regular: 5k per fluff, max of 2 per birth.
Butterfly: 6k per fluff, max of 2 per birth.
Rare: 10k per fluff, max of 1 per birth.

I want to keep the rares just that, rare. That is why there has been an increase in price for their breeding. Though for instance, a butterfly could mate with a regular and then have two regular fluffs or a mix of one each or both Butterflies. It is all up to how you pay for them.

I have from Shaoli, three sheets of wonderful items that I'm going to be offering to you one at a time. This time we have something for the chilly weather outside.

FAQ

Q: Can I have a Fluffy Cat.
A: Yes, if you buy one in flatsale, win one in auction or you have one commissioned.

Q: Who do I pay?
A: The colorist, and do so immediately at least 1/2 down and the other half no longer then a week later. Your Fluffy Cat will not be certed or grown until he or she is fully paid for, it will only be reserved for you until the payment is full.

Q: Can they breed?
A: Yes, they can.

Q: Can they die?
A: No, for the moment I do not allow the killing of pets. That would be a waste of coloring and Shaoli's skills. Abandoned pets will be given, yes GIVEN to new homes.

Q: I need my gold back, can I have it?
A: No, sorry there are no refunds.

Q: If I don't like the way a breeding or a commission has come out can I get my money back?
A. In this instance, yes, though I would have to really suggest that you have another colorist give it a try so you can get what you paid for.

Q: Can I sell my fluffballs after I've bred my Cats?
A: No, I've allowed this in the past but for roleplay reasons I do not want to break up families. You MAY give the fluffball to a friend, if they will be playing it as your child.

Q: Is roleplay required?
A: No it's not though it is strongly encouraged. Though there is a yes to this question as well, from now on if you want to be able to breed your Fluffy Cat you must be an active Roleplayer. Or at the very least active in the main thread. I don't want anyone breeding out of the blue when I haven't seen you for a long time.

Q: I don't want my Fluffy Cat anymore, can I sell it?
A: No, you can give it to someone though.

Q: How long will it take my Fluffy to grow.
A: A week for the Fluffball to become a baby, then a week again until it becomes a teen. It can be anywhere from 2 weeks to a month for your Teen to grow to an adult, it's all about the owners preferance but there is at least a 2 week wait 'til adult status can be attained. If you want your teen to stay that way just pm the colorist to let them know that you want it to be that way indefinately. You can always ask to have it grown at a later date.

Well, I've decided to do something nice. I'm going to allow people to color one Fluffy Cat and one Egg for the Easter Basket Charity thing. So, if you are interested in this please let me know and I will send you what you need. You can specify if you want to do a male or a female fluffy. Sorry, only current owners that are around the shop alot.
