Shee Garden

Loyal Dog

((Ah, sweet diary of success! I do believe it is sad that I'm the only one who bidded on sweet little Tokuyu Shee. Ah well, at least I won heart ))
*carefully patting the soft loamy soil around the small red flower's stem, she whistled sweetly to the small being growing inside an old folksong from years ago, taking her time preparing her precious Shee.* May you grow up healthy and beautiful, *she whispered when she finished, sitting back and adoring her work.*

Loyal Dog

Diary Entry number one:
Nothing much seems to be happening to little Tokuyu, although the flower sometimes moves when the wind isn't blowing. I'm thoroughly anxious and have worked myself into a tizzy over how I'm going to care for Tokuyu once he comes out, but I don't believe that will be much of a problem. I guess I should say I am a little eccentric, at the least, but a completely sane person is no fun, as my brother would say. It's time to go water the flower again, since I read somewhere that two times a day you should water a plant with one pint of water, and I already gave it some this morning.

Diary Entry Number two:
It started raining today, and after letting my little flower get all the water it needed I had to bring out an umbrella. One would almost be amazed at how hard it can rain sometimes! Sure I got a little wet, but rain doesn't hurt. What angered me was that the dirt I had so carefully and tenderly patted around the flower's stem started running, and I really don't like mud. Nothing new besides the rain, though.

Diary Entry Number Three
It has been an entire week since I recieved little Tokuyu, and I believe it must be getting close for him to 'bloom' I guess I can say. The flower is starting to lean to the side a bit heavily, and sometimes I think I can hear sounds coming from inside, which might not be far from the truth, and have chosen to patiently bide my time. Excited - Yes, very much.

Diary Entry Number Four:
Today little Tokuyu came out of his flower, and I cannot say I've seen anything so sweet-mannered! He doesn't make that many sounds unless he wants something, and he sleeps quite a bit. They were not kidding when they said a newborn Shee can fit in the palm of your hand - if I wanted to, I could walk with him in my pocket and no one would know! I do adore his little wings though; they're so feathery and fluffy heart Now I'm thinking of meeting the other Shee owners for a little playdate or something of the sort...

Diary Entry Number Five:
Tokuyu has proved to be a little handful! I can't begin to count the numbers of times he's crawled away to hide in the gardens, and how long it takes me to find him each time. I think it's because his skin is green; he blends right in with the stems of the flowers. It's a good thing he's got a full head of red hair 3nodding . He learned how to speak a few days ago, but it's mostly just baby garble and "Food!" It's still just so cute, though...

This shall mark the end of the diary posts, so that young Tokuyu can take up the story, nyaa. I am sorry if this is a really long post, but it would take longer to place everything seperately, and time is not on my side.

Tokuyu sat with his small hands resting on a brown rock, using his little head to decide whether to chew on it or throw it at a nearby Shee. He gurgled playfully and then... completely lost interest in the stone, grabbing his nearby blanket and throwing it over his head. "Blah!" For him, everything was a game, and now he was playing peekaboo with his shadow, pulling the blanket over his head and tossing it into the sky as he yelled "Peechuboo!"

Quote:
Miylin walked slowly into the garden while dragging a worn out yo-yo behind her. Dia had given it to her only weeks before, and already it had seen it's fair share of abuse. Noticing the little baby up ahead, she couldn't help but giggle. He seemed to be playing.. by himself.

Carefully, she approached him with a grin, and leaned down when she was in front of him.

"Hiya!", she perked up. Usually she was shy around people.. but this was different. Babies were different.

Tokuyu stared up at the new child wide-eyed, the blanket coming to rest on his shoulder. He giggled and waved one hand eagerly, grinning widely. "Hewwo! Pway with Tokuyu?" he babbled, tilting his head and grabbing at his blanket as it shifted.

Quote:
"Hehe, sure! We can play with this, if you want", Miylin said while lifting up her yo-yo for him to see. She didn't even think about whether or not a baby would be capable of playing with one. All that she knew, was that, here was someone to play with!

Tokuyu took the yo-yo curiously, shaking it and tugging gently at the string. He liked how he could wrap the string around the round part and then pull it back out, but the whole concept still confused him. His little tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth in concentration, he tried to figure out the toy's secret; in the end, he gave up and glanced up at Miylin expectantly. "Don't get it..."

Quote:
Miylin giggled as she watched the little baby.

"Here, let me show you", she said while taking the yo-yo from him, and slipping her finger into the string's hole.

"See.. you have to make the yo-yo slide down the string", she explained. Carefully, she released her hand, as the yo-yo balanced up and down on the string, before finally coming to a stop.

"Yup, and that's it!", she concluded gleefully. Poor, Miylin didn't understand that babies aren't able to do as much as she can.

Loyal Dog

Tokuyu watched in awe, following the yo-yo up and down before taking it into his own hands and following her instructions carefully. With a few failed attempts he managed to get the yo-yo to move up and down, laughing gleefully at his achievements. "Yay, Tokuyu play!" he cried, flailing the yo-yo about and jumping. "Yo-yo fun!"
Miylin's face lit up with a grin as she said,"Yup! You did it! See, it's not so hawd".

She sat down on the grass, and twirled a single grass blade between her fingers. It was such of a nice day. Suddenly her features changed to that of confusion as she said,"Hey, what's your name?". The thought had never before occured to her.

Loyal Dog

Placing a hand on his head Tokuyu blinked; in his mind, names weren't so important. "Tokuyu's name is Tokuyu," he replied slowly, nodding. "Yep, that Tokuyu's name!" He turned his attention to the sky next, walking in small circles and thinking of irrelevant things. The sun was nice and the breeze was cool, and with a grin he asked, "Yoh name is?"
"Tokuyu is a nice name", she commented while tossing the blade in the air.

"My name is Miylin", she said while standing up. She never could stay in one position for long. With her tongue poking out of the corner of her lips, she raised both hands before doing a small, lopsided, cart-wheel. Her landing wasn't so good either. She landed straight on her bum with a giggle. Her pigtails now hung loosely on their ribbons.

"But, you can call me Miy, hehe".

Loyal Dog

Laughing, Tokuyu ran toward Miylin and quickly sat by her, bouncing in place. "Miy is funny!" he chuckled, raising his arms above his head. "Tokuyu can't do that." He fell backwards and continued his stare at the sky, tugging on Miylin's loose pigtail and pointing at an oddly shaped one. "Looks like bird!" he exclaimed.
Miylin's voice ranged out in laughter, as she said,"A bird?? Oh I'll show you what a bird on my head can do". And then without any warning, she softly tackled Tokuyu while tickling his sides, and brushing her hair widly against his face and head.

"Attacck of the birdiee!", she shrieked while giggling.

Loyal Dog

Shrieking with laughter, Tokuyu squirmed around until he managed to escape, grabbing Miylin's head and holding on as tightly as he could. "Tickles!!"
