Kaola's have three stages. Branch, Child, and Adult. Each stage normally takes 3 days to get to, but if the owner doesn't RP or even come by it can take up to a week.

Factors
- RPing with the Kaola helps it grow faster.
- Having any pet from Green Blood Productions or Technicans (check links) in your sig will allow Kaola's to grow a little bit faster.
- Certain items will let your Kaola grow faster.

There are also three other types of Kaola's: Fairy, Angelic, and Demonic. They take a little longer to grow and are much more rare.

Each Flatsale Kaola is 2.5k. =)

How do I know what gender the branches in the flatsale are?
You don't. It's a surprise. =) However you don't have to name it until it gets to be child stage, so no worries.

How do I get a hold of the special breeds of Kaolas?
Fairy, Demonic, and Angelic Kaolas will most likely not be sold in Flatsales but will instead be in Raffles or Auctions. There are other ways to get them as well...

What's the whole community concept?
Kaola's like to spend time with other Kaolas. Sometimes they'll form their own communities so that they can live and bond with one another. Some communities don't like others while others get along fine. If you're Kaola is in a community, he or she will be able to participate in minigames between communities for prizes. It's just a fun little side game for people who want to do it. Check the RPing section for more info.

Kaolas will be available in either flatsales, auctions, raffles, or anything else I can think up. Look here for all of those things!

Flatsales - Surprise Flatsale!
Surprise! A few flatsales will be randomly happening sometime this week! Each time a Kaola is claimed, the flatsale ends only to be started up again randomly some time later! So grab one quick before anyone else grabs it!
Price = 2.5k
So far number 3 and number 1 has been taken.

Kaolas love to live together and hang out with each other. They also love a little competition now and then.

Basic RPing
RPing can enable your Kaola to grow a little bit faster as well as, occasionally, gain new items or stages. All RPing should be done in this thread. The scenery is as follows:

Scenery

In a quite but dense jungle, a small shack sits among a multitide of eucalyptus trees with a sign reading "Kaola Kompound". To your left you see a small clearing where a shallow pool of water lies, nearly hidden by the trees. To your right is a clearing of no trees: only dirt and patches of grass. Behind the "Kaola Kompound" is an incredible tree of great height. From it come many different branches of many different colors.

Notes About Kaolas
- Formal or informal RP is fine.
Ex Formal: Alfred leapt from the tree and landed hard on his feet. The dirt was dusty and hard.
Ex Informal: Alfred: *leaps from tree*
- They cannot speak English however they can communicate in their own language called Mrasupal. All Mrasupal speak should be done in [brackets].
Ex: Alfred awoke from his deep sleep, his eyes lazily scanning the view. [Is anybody around?] He slowly said.
- They do not sleep as much as normal Koalas. So they can be somewhat active. =)
- Also unlike Koalas, Kaolas can leap, jump, and walk at a fast pace on all four legs.
- Please stick to your Kaolas personality as a guide. They don't have to stereotypically fit all of the descriptive words all the time, but some of those aspects should shine through occasionally.
- Please do not "God-Mod" any other Kaolas. The only person allowed to do that is me, and I'll only do that when your Kaola is growing. =)

Communities
Communities are groups of Kaolas who live together. Each community is called something different and has a community leaders. Community leaders will be appointed, not applied for. If you're Kaola has RP-ed a lot, he or she may be asked to be the head of a new or existing Community.

All those wishing to join a particular community will apply in the thread to OSFM and I will update the list. You may not apply to a community that has two or more members than any other community. For example if community A has 7 members and community B has 5 members, you must join community B or wait until the numbers are more even. Each community can, at this time, only have a maximum of 10 members. As more people want to join more communities will be established. Also please note that Kaolas still in their branch phase may not join a community just yet. Please use this form when applying to join a community.

I will reply to your post by saying you are in the community or you are not. While you do not need to RP to join a community, you do need to be around and help bump or talk every once inawhile. =)

Communities often hold challenges within eachother in which communities will compete for certain items, priviledges, etc. All members within the community will recieve some sort of prize. The games will cover all different kinds of abilities, so many different types of people should join up for different communities. A community of only artisitc people won't do well on all the games. A variety is needed to have the best community.

Community Leader Responsibility
A Community Leader must publicize and maintain their Community--and that's all! The leader should be trying to bring in new customers to potentially join their community and should also contact members when a minigame has been revealed. He or she also must write a small statement for their community and why people should join it. Community leaders also will get special prizes at minigames for being the leaders of their communities so it can be a highly lucrative job. Please note that only full grown Kaolas may become Community Leaders. Also note that the Kaola, not the owner, is the community leader. Technically your Kaola is going about contacting other Kaolas. So don't let down the RP-ness. =)

Like all other animals, Kaolas can breed. While only the females can give birth, any type of couple is allowed to get a child. Male/Female pairs will simply have a baby between them. Male/Male or Female/Female pairs can go through a special breeding process which takes DNA from each parent and creates a new branch.

Breeding costs 6k. This is mainly because of the number of Kaolas one pair can produce. Each birth can yield 2 to 4 new branches. Don't ask how it happens. sweatdrop It just does.

If the owners don't want all the branches, the other(s) can be sold in an auction in which the owners will get 50% of the profit and OSFM will get the other 50%. If you'd like to auction off one of your branches please contact me by PM first. I will set up the thread, time, etc and give it to you to bump and maintain.

Branches can be split anyway between the parents. The branches sometimes will look a bit like the parents and will other times look completely different. Many different factors go into breeding which are...ermm...hard to explain. sweatdrop

Please only apply for a breeding when a breeding slot is open. Breeding slots may be auctioned off. In this case, a link will replace the breeding slot to the auction and the initial 6k fee will be waived and will only include the final bid.

Customs
Yay for customs! Customs cost 5k each and allow you to customize the colors and stats of your Kaola. You may only request a custom when there are custom slots open. Please do not request one otherwise. Also, please note that OSFM will be your artist. Not any of the other colorists who work here.

With a Custom, you may choose 4 different colors for your Kaola to have based on this diagram:

Pet Trades

While I like pets I actually like lineart more. So if you have some lineart you want to trade for 1 or 2 Kaolas then please send me a PM with your lineart in it and we'll see what we can work out.

Otherwise, as long as a pet is of equal or greater value I don't mind doing a pet trade. At this time I will not trade for customs but perhaps at a later date. The only really custom thing you can trade for is choosing a main color that you want the Kaola to have. In exchange I expect to be able to have some control over what your pet looks like.

If you'd like to trade a pet please PM me with your store and I'll look it over. I'll PM you with a respone. Take note that I like Non RP pets and that I may refuse a pet trade simply because I'm busy. So don't get too offended. =)
