Guild Wars 2
It is not an expansion of Guild Wars, nor a new campaign, it is a different game. The dates of its release have been rumored and no one knows the final date. Another plus of Guild Wars 2 is that again there are no additional fees once the copy is initially paid for. The following may be slightly outdated but still hold true to the older campaigns an some may be newer. If you have any other questions to add please pm them to me but ONLY if they are frequently asked.
1)
Q:What is Post-Searing?
A: Post-Searing is when you get a second job class on a new PvE(Roleplaying) Character, talk to Sir Tydus in Ascalon City, and then proceed with the mission, once the mission is complete, you are in Post-Searing.

Q:What are runes used for?
A: Runes are attached to armor to increase an Attribute, depending on the rune. Minor runes will only increase the attribute by one point, major by two points(With a loss of -50 health), and superior will boost the attribute by 3 points(With a loss of -75 health).
Vigor Runes are the exception, as they add health instead of remove it.
Warrior Absorption Runes do not remove health, and lower the amount of damage you take.

Q:How do you unlock runes/Salvage Them.
A:You unlock runes by picking up 'armors' dropped by monsters that are colored blue(Common), purple(Uncommon), and gold(Rare). To salvage, you must use an EXPERT Salvage Kit, which can only be gotten in Post-Searing. (This applies to weapon upgrades as well, although weapons must obviously be salvage from colored weapons.

Q:How do I Identify an Item?
A:You must buy an Identification Kit in a Town/Outpost.

Q:What does 'Precious' mean on an item?
A: It is worth more when you sell it to a Merchant, no other known bonuses.

Q:What is Max Damage for [Insert Weapon Type Here].
A:Sword: 15-22. Axe: 6-28. Hammer: 19-35. Bow: 15-28. Wand/Staff: 11-22. Daggers: 7-17. Scythe: 9-41. Spear: 14-27.

Q:If I have Factions or Nightfall do I have to have Prophecies to play them?
A:No, you don't need Prophecies to play Factions or Nightfall. Each chapter works as a stand-alone game, which means you can play them independently of each other.

Q:I'm thinking of getting Guild Wars, which chapter should I get?
A:It all depends on what you're looking for. Prophecies can be a bit slow at times but it gives a good foundation for gameplay and the story line. Factions is a bit short when it comes to the PvE storyline, but it has some nice skills for PvP. And Nightfall is great if you like to PvE.

Q:I'm poor! How do I make more gold?
A:There are a number of ways to make gold in GW. Farming is usually a good way to go. You can also run people to places for various amounts of gold. If you want/need more gold always pick up dropped items; after a while all those cheap drops add up.

Q: What are the differences between PVE and PVP?
A: PVE is the roleplaying side of the game. When in towns, players can interact with other people but when outside they have their own unique copy of the map. In PVP mode, which is player vs. player, the character is limited only to the battle isles or allowed to do alliance battles from the Guild Hall.

Q: What is this about leeching in pvp and being banned!! Also I'm not allowed to fight in arenas what happened?!
A: Alright, if a player leechs in pvp they do not get banned. If a player can't fight in arenas it is just a temporary penalty. The top left hand corner shows the penalty and the remaining duration. It is not a very long penalty. This penalty comes when the player has left too many teams in the arena before the battle ends or has leeched x-amount of times.
