Horrors are beings created from humanity's own fears: vampires, demons, slashers, zombies, terrifying aliens, you name it. Held on a desolate prison island known as "The Theater", Super Ethical Horror Theater 3000 features some of the most violent and terrifying action on television. At the head of The Theater is a man known only as "The Director", whom acts as a warden for the stars of our show! Super Ethical Horror Theater 3000 is a roleplay guild centered around a prison holding all sorts of horror characters, and a show where they are forced to combat each other for glory. One third prison RP, one third gladiator RP, one third... celebrity RP? You can create a Horror that must survive the harsh conditions of The Theater, fight against other Horrors on television, and find success with the viewers watching worldwide to live a better lifestyle and potentially escape this dreaded prison and even return home. You can also create humans, perhaps a security guard tasked with the terrible job of looking after these terrifying beings, or a press member tasked with writing articles on the show and its cast, getting interviews and keeping the audience up to date on what's going on in The Theater.
Most importantly... you are the audience. In most RPs of this kind, combat is a matter of winning or losing. That is not the case here. Furthermore, Horrors do not stay permanently dead... and losing a fight or two on television is unavoidable. Meaning your character will die many times, but much like a horror movie villain, they'll never stay dead. It isn't about winning or losing, Horror Theater is about winning the adoration of the crowd: the members of this guild. You will not gain success in this guild by trying to win everything, no, you must impress the people of this guild with your characters, your ability to tell a storyline, to show character development. This guild is just as much about the RP as it is about the community. So please, take a look, everyone is welcome!
