XXXXXXXXXXSOMETIMES THE ONLY PAY-OFF FOR HAVING ANY FAITHXXXXXXXXIS WHEN IT'S TESTED AGAIN AND AGAIN, EVERY DAY ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ▰ ★ Our story begins in modern times--where everything seemed perfectly normal--until suddenly, everything changed. It all started several years ago, when a new policy swept schools across the nation. The policy banned expulsions in schools, and instead put in a rule that teachers were allowed to use martial tactics in their teaching, working their students to the bone or even harming them if necessary for their learning. This, in turn, led to mass discontent among students. Students began forming gangs, and rates of violence in the nation increased, and with that, strictness of schools increased, as well.
About a month prior to the RPs start, the largest student riot ever began at a school only identified as School #6142. The school was relatively average, slightly above average academically--however, the thing that set this school apart from the others was this riot, which took place on the day of yearly evaluations--the students were entirely out of control, and the chaos spanned the entire campus. This riot resulted in casualties mounted much higher than usual, and even resulted in the police needing to take action. As a result of the riot, the students of School #6142 were all apprehended by the police--and subsequently gathered together into a correctional facility for a few days, until those students were all issued scholarships and a forced attendance to the well-known Sirena Academy.
Sirena Academy was fabled as the highest tier of school in the area, maybe even the entire nation. Located in a port town in the south of Key West, Sirena Academy was known as a large private boarding school, with diverse and effective classes and methods of teaching, top-notch sports teams that competed with high schools with unbelievable winning streaks, and situated in a nice, quiet area that’s not too far from the town or the beach. However, the thing that Sirena is most well-known for is the fact that often, the worst troublemakers are transferred there--and soon enough come out as model members of society, not even seeming like the same person they were on the way in. Nobody knows how Sirena does it. Adults see it as a saving grace, students tend to disagree.
The transfers from School #6142 are going into their forced stay at Sirena, only knowing what they’ve heard about it--however, if one looks beneath the surface, it’s pretty clear that this particular academy is holding plenty of secrets. There are plenty of variables going into this, and as far as anyone else can tell, it’s only a matter of time before this situation explodes.

current plot sypnosis;
The transfers had just been moved into Sirena Academy. They were just beginning to settle in, but there was generally an air of unease floating around. Under the pretense of solving this, the student council announced the homecoming dance. As everyone got excited for the homecoming dance, they started becoming a bit more genial to each other—and then, the big night came. The homecoming dance. Everyone got dressed up and headed on over, ready to have a good time. And at first, the dance went perfectly fine—until it came to the time that the winners of the positions of king, queen, and prince of the homecoming ball were announced. Eugene “Z” Johns, Domino Hyŏng, and Faye Poirot were selected—all transfers, which seemed suspicious to several people. These suspicions were confirmed when black paint was dumped down upon the winners—as it turned out, the ballots had been messed with to get this desired outcome. The Sirena originals had proven that they were not planning on welcoming the transfers any time soon. This led to the transfers becoming enraged, and starting a riot in the school the next day, clashing with the Sirena originals. However, before the riot could get very far, the police arrived, stepping in and stopping it. All of the students (except for the student council and four pillars, who were exempt on order of the student council president) were arrested, and held in a detention facility for about three weeks. Now, that time is over, and they’ve been returned to the school, the fires of their anger cooled somewhat. However, it’s clear that it’s only a matter of time before another disturbance takes place…

★ if you do ask for a role, pls try to complete your profile quickly!! you will have 3 days to do so, or i will open the role again. also do keep in mind that starred roles require you to privately speak and plan for me. i reserve the right to reject your character should i think they arent proper for a particular role, though you`re welcome to try again if i do. as far as characters with roles go-- if you don`t post for a week with them, i will be opening the role back up. please do be careful! don`t disappear on us!
★ try to keep the setting in mind. it`s modern era and real world-- hard hits to the back of the head are fatal, as are gunshot wounds, and most of these characters are gonna be kids who would likely be too scared to attempt murder anyway. also, students probably don`t carry guns around. of course, the setting isn`t all too realistic, as most students still carry weapons around at school and are mostly accustomed to fighting.
★ cooperate and plan with other rpers! plan out rad fight choreography, talk about how you want your character to develop, talk about relationships between your characters! ooc drama is the worst thing ever, and it totally kills rps. try not to start drama with the other rpers, and contact a mod if someone bothers you.

Ｓｉｒｅｎａ Ａｃａｄｅｍｙ
The Sirena Officials seemingly rule the school. The word of the president, their vice, and four pillars seem to be absolute- above even that of any teachers. They all work in tandem and meet regularly to ensure that Sirena remains a functioning operation-- though, they seem to know more than they let on...
*the president of the student council | male or female | 17-18 years old | open
exactly what it sounds like. the ruler of the student council, and arguably the student with the most influence in the entire academy. they hold authority over the teachers and students, and have been doing what they can to control the transfers. also, they aren`t an elected official like the vice. they beat up the old president for dominance. they must have some sort of goal in mind. but, is it really true they`re actually taking orders from someone else like the rumors say? they don`t give that kind of impression at all!
*the vice president of the student council | male or female | 16-18 | reserved by ten
exactly what it sounds like. the right hand man/woman whatever to the student council president, and the student with the second most influence. they work in tandem with the president, but tend to be much more hands on than them, and much more likely to actually work in the field. only the president has word above them. character must be at least 16.
the varsity captain, Leo Belucci | male | 16-18 | reserved by aceeternal
the varsity captain is worshiped on all ends of the school by faculty and adoring fans alike. they`re the ace of the school`s baseball team, too, and some hold them responsible for taking them to nationals each year. they`re in charge of managing all of the other sports teams, and the other sports captains go to them first before making big decisions. character must be at least 17.
the president of the music club | male or female | 16-17 years old | open
a genius on multiple instruments, the president of the music club has a prestigious reputation. they`re in charge of managing all the art related clubs (art club, drama club, etc), and all the other art related club presidents must go to them first before making big decisions.
disciplinary head | male or female | 16-18 | reserved by wolf
the disciplinary head has authority over the disciplinary committee. they`re commonly the ones first sent to dispel situations by the president, and act as the president`s primary defense and front line. however, their job is ultimately to make the school a safer and better place for students, so they`re commonly obligated to solve minimal problems and help the student body in whatever way possible (of course, in according to the president`s wishes).
the secretary of the student council | male or female | 14-18 | reserved by king of netherlands
they work with the president and vice, but sadly find themselves commonly left out of the loop when it comes to their more shady dealings. they deal with the things the president and vice don`t want any part of. they manage the student council`s intelligence, and keep their eyes and ears open at all time for any news from the students and even the transfers. they may or may not be the youngest of Sirena`s officials.

Ｔｈｅ Ｔｒａｎｓｆｅｒｓ
These six assholes are the ones responsible for starting the riots of School #6142. They all have their own reasons for doing so-- but ultimately banded together to make their voices heard. They don`t have to like each other, but they all have their own suspicions about Sirena Academy-- whether or not, or how they act upon these suspicions is up to you.

the ruthless school captain of what was once #6142, and the prime suspect behind the riots. they know how to work the system well, and are no stranger to a brawl. the riots were their original idea (both times), and it was them who gathered the other transfers to make the riots happen. they have big plans for Sirena Academy, and for the system itself...

a perpetual loner with an undeniable talent for baseball-- which would be really cool, if they got off their asses and attended a single practice. nevertheless, they seem to have a pretty solid goal in mind when it comes to dealing with the system, and a deep hatred for the Sirena Officials. they`re also rumored to have a pretty sketchy past, so people kind of like... avoid them.
the drifter | male or female | 15-18 | reserved by skylark-13
a tough and rumble delinquent with a knack for getting themselves into fights-- so much so, as a matter a fact, that they`ve been pulled from school to school due to the catastrophic results of each of their skirmishes, earning them their nickname. they were quite the powerhouse back during the riots.
the queen bee of #6142 | female | 15-18 | reserved by anime protagonist
what it sounds like-- the queen bee is the baddest b***h around. they use adoring fans for stairs. people will pay good money for a lock of their hair. losers dream of getting to sit with them at lunch. they`re hot as hell, the image of perfection with the coy attitude and smarts to go with it, though they may be just a bit shallow. but don`t let their bewitching good looks fool you- they pack a seriously devastating punch, and they`re always ready to prove it if you`d like. they have a strong influence on the student body, and were crucial to getting students on their side during the original riots. they were also the head cheerleader back at #6142.
the biker, Maverick Carraway | male or female | 15-18 | reserved by aceeternal
the biker is literal hell on wheels-- the feared leader of one of the scariest biker gang in the state. they`re notorious for picking fights with rival gangs and eliminating the competition, almost with ease. they`re also said to be a pretty capable mechanic, having modified their own prized bike to be a weapon on it`s own. their gang gave them a good number advantage during the riots.
the prodigy | male or female | 11-14 | reserved by blade
a particularly gifted but perhaps frivolous kid, a few years younger than their peers, who managed to skip several grades with their academic prowess. however, even the bright future ahead of them, the age difference between them and their classmates made it difficult to make friends- so somewhere along the road for their own reasons, they wound up rebelling. hard. they were even a part of the #6142 riots-- the presence of one of the top students choosing the side of the delinquents being the tip of the ice berg for a few indecisive students. what they lack in size, strength, and raw power compared to the other transfers- they make up for ten fold in brains, though they do find themselves having to prove themselves often.

opening event: sirena academy pep rally!
Seeing as how everyone who partook in the riots has just gotten back to school, the staff has decided that it would be a good idea to try to pull everyone’s spirits up. A pep rally’s been planned, and all of the students are to attend, in hopes of cheering everybody up and getting them ready for the rest of the school year. The pep rally is going to take place in the gym, and there’s going to be a big performance by the cheer squad, and lots of celebration over school spirit.
However, all is not entirely well. After the homecoming dance, the transfers have decided that they want a bit of payback. So, they formed a plan to use this pep rally to get back at the Sirena originals for what they did to them.
All of the transfers know about this plan. The plan itself is to prank all of the Sirena originals into making make fools of themselves—by making them think that there is a fire in the gym, and that they’re trapped in there. The finer parts of the plan is that behind the bleachers, the transfers have set up a smoke machine, which will be switched on in the middle of the pep rally, as well as somebody pulling the fire alarm. Outside of the gym, there will be a few who have locked the doors from the outside. And at around the same time, someone will kill the lights. All of the transfers in the room need to go along with the ruse—however, they’ll all know that it’s not actually real, and be able to watch the Sirena originals panic—which, they’re sure, will be quite satisfying. All that’s left to hope for is for the plan to go well, when the time comes…

school rumble is officially open!
before posting-- please be sure to read the lore, plot synopsis, and event summary! this way, you can get a good idea of where your character has been, and what`s to come for them.
it is currently 8:30AM on a Monday in October, and students are beginning to leak into the gym for the pep rally. but, only the transfers know what`s really going down...

His foot tapped impatiently as he waited- he wasn't annoyed, no not at all. He was very, very excited. To show these assholes what it's like to be humiliated- He had to throw away the one tux he owned because of the ******** black paint that ruined it. He clenched his jaw and balled his fists, and suddenly went to punch the wall. However, if someone were inside, the noise would alert them that there was something going on. So, he stopped, and just let out a disgusted grunt.
"These sons of bitches... Gonna get what they deserve..."
He mumbled a bit as he let out a sigh. Today was a pretty day to be fair. Many people, after the riot and all, transferred out and moved. He didn't see a few faces after the police got involved. Man, what a hassle... If they didn't want a fight, why provoke them. Dom... Faye... And himself were especially peeved. That didn't matter... ⚠-------------------------------------⚠The rev of an engine could be heard as Maverick pulled up behind the gym, bringing his motorcycle to a stop in the vacant space back there. On his drive over there, he’d heard a few snickers, but he’d ignored them the best he could. He planted one of his feet on the ground, leaning to the side slightly as he came to a stop, reaching up to pull his goggles off from his eyes and look around. He got off his bike, holding it up until he put the kickstand up, then adjusting his jacket a bit. He wasn’t exactly looking forward to being back at school—but it wasn’t as if he could run away from it forever. It had been a while, but he was ready to face the student body again. He looked over at Z, pausing for a moment before calling to him and approaching,“Hey, Z!” he came to a stop in front of Z, crossing his arms over his chest and seeming pretty serious, lowering his voice so that he wasn’t projecting beyond the immediate area. “So, trashing the pep rally, huh? Probably the best welcome back I could hope for.” He let out a stark chuckle—actually talking normally, almost as if he had no recollection of how he’d literally been socially shunned from school just a few weeks ago thanks to Juliet. Speaking of Juliet—he glanced around again, almost as if expecting her, but was glad when she wasn’t there. However, what he did see was some random Sirena student coming a bit too close for his liking—apparently curious or something. Mav glared the student down, calling over to them, ”Hey, what, you think this is a museum or something?!
