Assuming now that everyone was satisfied and understanding of the situation, Miharu turned away from the four genin and ran her fingers through her hair as she thought.
"Hm, a test...well, I didn't have anything planned, so this sucks. Umm...ah! What was that one trick that Genma played on those transfer students a year or so ago...haha, I got it!" A smirk spread over her face as she made the hand-symbols for duplication.
A few moments later she turned around, four leaves in her hand -- each one marked with a number: 1, 2, 3, and 4. She handed them in turn to each of the genin, starting with Keikyoku and ending with Kaosu.
"Somewhere in this wide, deserted outskirts of the Sound Village are the matching leaves to the ones you hold in your hand. It's pretty simple -- if you find a leaf with your number on it that matches the one in your hand, you win and pass the test. If not, then you fail and don't end up as genin." She placed her hands on her hips and gazed at the sky. "Be back here by five o' clock -- and a word of advice, young genin, stay together. Don't ignore what's imprinted on your forehead, whether it be 'kick me' or 'this way.'" She gave them each a shifty-eyed smirk before vanishing.
Keikyoku thought for a moment, then blinked. "Um...okay. Guess we should stay together and search the place, hmm?" A part of her told her that they would probably find the matching leaves faster if they spread out and combed the outskirts -- but then, who was she to defy authority? With a small sigh, she knelt down and began to upturn rocks and sift through the sand at her feet in hopes of easily unearthing what she was looking for (even though, she thought with a sinking feeling in her gut, Miharu would not have made it that simple).
((When Miharu refers to Genma's little trick, it's an inside story about an RP I'm in with Foxy.nin and Kairi.nin, nothing from the show or manga. And could you three do me a personal favor and make it so that your characters don't find the leaves? It's important for the plot/setting, trust me. >.>)

Keikyoku concentrated chakra into her feet and leaped onto the top of a sturdy-looking tree by the one Kaosu was on. She didn't mention anything; usually when she repeated herself on things she'd been told, the people she was with got more annoyed with her than anything else. Instead, she sighed, shook her head, and jumped back down and began to search the ground by the cluster of trees Kaosu was searching the leaves for.

Mmmm... -=Black hues were half closed. Not because he was tired, but because he was relaxed. There was nothing to worry about out here. The Sound village shared a boarder with the Leaf, but he wasn't by those ouskirts. He was in the neutral ground that shared boarders with Sound and Leaf. He had been there for the three months of the past year that he had been a Genin. He may not have much experience on missions, but he was absolutly ready and he was heading to Otokage-sama's office to get a team and possibly some missions. He had spent the three months out at the desert because he was practicing some of his jutsus. Odd that an ice user would practice somewhere in the desert. Not really. He was trying to control his ice in any surrounding. Right now, he was perfect with his ice sword. What he was mainly practicing was the ice wall and flying ice dagger technique. He could, at best, cover himself with a fairly strong ice wall. It would take a little more chakra and experience to make a wall to protect three other people. As for the ice daggers, it was now just a matter of timing. A hand was placed on his brow line, looking in the distance without the sun in his eyes. He saw that he still had a distance to walk. He thought to himself "I wonder if I'll be punished for taking a month longer then I was given. I'm pretty sure that the Otokage would have sent ANBU after me if it was a problem." He thought about future missions and hopfully being a great sinobi of the Sound village.=-

-=Tai had gotten closer to what was called home. A smirk of relief became the emotion of his face. He continued to walk at the same pace at which he had started. He went over the timing and quickness of his techniques and himself. He knew he could always get faster. There was never such a thing as too fast. He had a friend in the Leaf, telling tails of their famous "Yellow Flash" also know as the 4th Hokage. He knew he could never reach that kind of speed, but he would try his hardest to obtain it. His hands had been stuck into his pockets. Black pants that were wrapped around the ankles, tucked into the black sandles that sheltered his feet. A shurikrn holster, wrapped on his right leg. A pouch on the left side of his waist for kunais, exploding tags, and scrolls. His black shirt, short sleeved, had a high collar with his clan symbol on his back. A blue and white ying yang. But it wasn't one that looks normal. Instead of being split down the middle, the line waved from left to right with the bottom half being blue while the top was white with a blue spot. The bottom blue represented the ice power of the Hitatsujin clan, while the white is to be filled by the power they copy and adjust with their Sharingan. While his clothes were black, and fading, his hair was long and white that had tips that transitioned into blue. Most of the time, it was infront of his face, or at least one eye. He came to the boarder of the Sound village with a smile on his face. Tai had choosen that once he makes these techniques perfect, that he would start training with other techniques that he had started out in the desert. The jutsus that he had never completed out in the desert, he would complete in the training grounds of the village.=-
