I would say Spike before the chip and soul, if possible, because he really couldn't give a damn about anyone because Dru had left him for a Chaos Demon, he's a vampire and didn't give a damn about rules for fighting or being chivilrous. He may not have been brilliant at magic but if it was just an all out brawl he would have won easily. smile

I think that it would be Illyria before she had her powers drained...I mean she was a Pure Demon and she could have messed with time and all of the other things she can do...most of which i cant remeber right now!!! sweatdrop Oh well
On the other had Willow was damn powerfull but the fact is that she fears the magic so she is not as powerful anymore...

I'd say either Illirya or Spike. Illirya because even with her powers gone, she was still as strong as Spike and Angel. I mean she killed that one guy with a punch to the head after he killed Wesley. Also, Spike is a vamp and has super-strength. Oh, and if you remember the episode of Angel, with Angel and Spike fighting over the Cup of Torment or somthin, Spike won. And that was because he was motivated more. Angelus could beat everyone else, however Spike soul-bound and motivated to beat Angelus would be more then enough to put him over the top. I mean look at it, Angelus and Spike are hated rivals. Though if you look at it, emotions aside, it's anyones game.

In terms of Brute strength, I'd say Illyria but if we're including the Magicks, then I'd still go with Illyria. Illyria is an ancient one. No magick can stop her, at least not easily. If you were to pit Willow against Illyria, all Illyria would have to do is put Willow into temporal stasis, punch her around and then pull out her heart.

I would have to say that Xander was the strongest...mently. He was the one who had to sit battles out, he odsent have any type of super power like Buffy or Willow. Xander was the "normal" one out of everyone. He couldnt cast spells on anyone, he couldnt kill a vampire alone. He was the oddman out! He dosent fit in with the scooby gang, thats why he is the strongest. He had to make a statement to them that he could do all these things when he really couldnt. He had to show all of them that he was the strongest. he had to show them that he belonged, thats what makes him so tough.

I would say it is either Buffy or Willow for the female side and Spike or Angel for the males side.

Strength as super buff.. i would have to say Buffy or Angel cause they both kick some serious demon butt.
BUT...
I think that Xander was the strongest out of all of them. He was really the only normal one and he coped with all that stress of being the side kick and not have any powers like Willow, Ayna or Tara ever did or he didnt have super-strenght either like Buffy, Faith, Angel and Spike. I would have thought that he would of broke down a couple of time but he didnt but mostly everyone else did.

There all stronger than buffy but buffy allways manages to win so i guess that makes her strong as well as sexy. But physically willow is the most powerful.
