The World Under The Bed.
In the eyes of children, the world is a place filled with imagination and exitment. Monsters reside in closests, under beds and behind lampshades while protective imaginary friends relax and provide comforting feelings to warm children's dreams. What the little ones don't realize, is that there is a world, called Zerafren, in which all creatures of the imagination reside.
And now, with children being less and less active, they truly need an adventure, and their friends and foes in their imaginations are thrilled to oblige in their human friends motavation.
Rules
∂ Do NOT send me profiles, in fact, there ARE NO profiles. This is my little way of forcing you into a more literate manner
∂ You may play either human child, imaginary friend, creative monster or anything that might sprout from a childs mind. The only limit on this is your human child mey not be older then 13
∂ Literacy is a must, and refrain from godmodding and powerplaying
∂ There is no limit to characters, nor is the gender restraints, just be sure you can handle the characters you make, if you cannot, please dispose of them

∂ Raine curled up in her bed, brown hair falling all around her in long tousled masses. Her blue-green eyes peered into the dark room surrounding her bed and the nine year old shivered under the orange quilt and her two piece blue clouded jammies. She had been awoken from her dreams filled with flying on the back of a fudge swimming parrot when a voice called out to her, begging her to rise. Raine had complied, only to find that no one was in the room when she awoke. "Hello?" she whispered, half hoping she would remain unanswered.
Her call was echoed with the sound of muffled giggling from under her mattress. Raine gasped and clutched her quilt to her face, only to hear more giggles as a reply. She tried to call again, but the fear of what could be lurking under her bed was terrifying. It might be a big ogre or a slimy goo ball! She shivered, making a "brrrrrr" noise that seemed to instigate the giggles further. Frightened terribly, Raine did as any nine year old girl would do; she called for her t-rex best friend.
"Sharp tooth!" She whispered, looking around the room in hopes that he had heard her and instantly appeared. She feared he hadn't come when a creaking and then roar rumbled through her room and the roof of her bedroom was neatly lifted and the large reddish-brown head of none other then Sharp Tooth the Tyrannosaurus slid into view.

∂ "Thanks for comming!" Raine grinned as the tryransaurus leaned his head further into the room so she could reach out and rub his nose. "Theres something under the bed, giggling at me, and I know it wasn't you because you don't giggle and don't like how the dust bunnies behave." The dinosaur snorted in agreement, washing Raine in a musty smelling air. Raine knew what he would do, Sharp Tooth would stay by her side all night long, protecting her from whatever leered from under the bed, leaving Raine only when she awoke if she wished to be alone. The nine year old beamed at the t-rex, once again rubbing his face and yawned.
Sharp tooth gave her a look that demanded her to return to bed, and the tired little girl obliged, settling under the covers and drifting off on a pink camel. ∂

Hiding in a sleeping bag under her bed, Sarah stared out at her closet door. There was something in there, she was sure of it! That horrible, evil monster in her closet was just waiting for her to come out, she knew it. Staying as hidden as she could, she moved further back, under the bed. Not once did she take her eyes off of the closet door.

Raine stirred once again, waking in the deep of the night. Sharp Tooth had kept watch, and was still peering in through her window, so the breeze wouldn't enter the room. The giggling was back, and this time Raine did not fear. With a confident wave to Sharp Tooth to show she was fine, Raine slid down to the floor.

((I'm still trying to think up an imaginary friend for my character, but otherwise, I'm here ^^ ))
Sarah had looked away from the closet for only a moment, as she started to nod off, but in that short time, it got out. The closet door was suddenly standing wide open, and she could swear she heard something moving around, but she couldn't see where. Terrified now, she curled up in the sleeping bag, using the flimsy thing like it could protect her. Thinking she felt something grab her ankle through the sleeping bag, the five year old jumped and crawled out of the sleeping bag quickly with a scream. As soon as she was out from under the bed, she ran to the opposite side of the room, looking back at her bed. Oh... the horrible monster got out!

A moment later, bright, lively and laughing purple eyes appear from the shadows of the closet door as well. A tall girl steps out, well, at least a tall girl in any five year old's opinion. She had black hair, which was also streaked with blue, purple and silver highlights, though the silver flowed from color to color every few minutes. Her hair would be long put down, but it was instead up in a twist, with a shock or two of hair falling out, mixed in with beaded and feathered braids, as well as a few silver colored disks that flashed in the moonlight and chimed with a pleasant bell like sound. She looked almost like a gypsy, especially with her brightly colored skirt and shirt, and sash about her waist, like her hair, hung with flashing disks. Actually, even though she was dressed weirdly, she could almost pass for human... except for the iridescent, insect like wings on her back, currently folded, and the slightly blue, silver tint to her skin. The girl turns and flashes a smile at Sarah. "No need to be scared. I've got it handled." She comments, her voice kind and confident, then she strides over to the bed and crouches down. Reaching a hand under the bed, she pulls out a creature that, upon being touched by the moonlight flows into a formless shadowy blob that withered in her grasp. Raylin shakes her head, then the creature disappears in a small flash of light. Brushing her hands off, she turns back to Sarah and grinning does a somewhat jokingly extravagant bow. "Hullo there. M'name's Raylin, and I'm to be your new imaginary friend and protector. Nice ta meet cha Sarah." She says as she straightens up and grinning sets a hand on her waist, her silver painted nails flashing in the moonlight as she looks down at Sarah. ((No problem and sorry for the long delay. Had to eat dinner. also, Kat, if ya want me to change her at all, just send me a pm and I'll do so.))

Raine peered under the bed skirt, squinting her eyes into the darkness. It only took her a moment to see the large yellow eyes peeking back at her, though they atempted to keep hidden by closing nearly all the way.

| That's alright. Understandable. School's keeping me pretty busy, so I can't guarantee that I'll be posting incredibly often, either. |
Shrouded in the darkness beneath the child's bed, a lithe and glossy creature lurked, giggling in its eerily youthful way. Its yellow eyes narrowed at the child when she came looking. With the bright ocular lights were stifled, the thing was mostly invisible, and the laughter had been silenced.
Slowly the lurker shrank back, away from Raine and away from the light. Perhaps if the child thought that the monster was frightened, she would come closer. Just a little closer... The only thing that stopped the creature from reaching out and grabbing its prey was the ever vigilant guardian outside the window.
