What is your favorite musical interests? List songs and artists along with reasons.

For example, I love the song "Never too late" by Three days Grace because it reminds me of the emotional, sadder side to the anime show Gravitation.

I have to say one of my favorite bands would have to be Billy Talent. The tempo, beat, bass and lyrics is what I like about them.

A few of my fav songs by them are: Fallen Leaves, The Ex, River Below, Standing in the Rain, Voices of Vilence and Lies.

Another favorite song of mine would be "Listen to your heart" originally sung by Marie Fredrikkson of Roxette. The song was actually written by a man known as Per Gessle.

Together Marie and Per made Roxette, along with their closest friends of course.

Listen to your heart, the song, reminds me of what to do before ultimately breaking up with someone. It is a sad song, but it is filled with meaning.

"I know there's something in the wake of your smile. I get a notion by the look in your eyes. You've built a love, but that love falls apart, your little piece of heaven, turns to dark!"

These words here, they tell of someone who is in love with someone else, but the relationship went too far too fast, and thus, what do you do?

You "listen to your heart, when he's calling for you. Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why, but listen to your heart, before you tell him goodbye."

The next verse goes, "Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile. The precious moments are all lost in the tides yea. They're swept away, and nothing is what it seems. You feel like belonging to your dreams!"

Yes, love can be like that. Love can be like a constant war and sometimes, you wonder how much more can your heart, mind, and body take of it. Sometimes, when you are in love, especially when it goes sour, you feel like you should have just stuck with your dreams and be done with the love you had.

Well, follow the advice that the chorus gives. "Listen to your heart when he's calling for you. Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why, but listen to your heart, before you tell him goodbye!"

Next verse goes: "And there are voices that want to be heard! So much to mention, but you can't find the words. The scent of magic, the beauty that's been, when love was wilder than the wind."

Well, we all know about this. can we really, these days decide on that one special someone we want? Don't we go through like a million choices before landing up with one and yet, the person might not be who you expect it to be. And the sense of fantasy... when you have someone in your life, where does it go?

Again, that chorus..."Listen to your heart, when he's calling for you. Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why, but listen to your heart, before you tell him goodbye."

Now doesn't that song have more meaning since I deciphered a possible set of meanings to the song. I did not write the original lyrics. Per Gessle did.

But, I was proving a point in how this song is meaningful to me.

Wow. That's pretty deep.

I also like Panic! At The Disco. They have a nice sound to them I find. I especially like the song "There's A Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Havn't Figured It Out Yet". It has a nice old school club feeling I think.

Ha ha, figures my wife would say something like that, but yeah, that is deep.

One of my favorite songs is called, "Breaking the habit" by Linkin Park.

It talks about someone who has really bad habits, but wants to get rid of them. So, in a series of verses, and of course the chorus, it reveals how that is done.

"I don't know what's worth fighting for, or why I have to scream? But, now I have some clarity, let me show you what I mean. I don't know how I got this way, and I know it's not all right, but I am breaking the habit tonight."

This one bit of the song is the most meaningful. It talks about my own past in how when I lost my father when I was ten, I had begun to fight as a martial artist, but now, I cannot stop fighting or playing the hero.

Another deep explanation...Maybe I should come up with one sometime. :3
