I'm just makin' this post to get to know the other members of the guild. biggrin
So, I'm Sepik. I'm in the tenth grade, live in America, and play the trumpet. I'm in my school's marching band, and I think I'm pretty good at writing, although I don't write nearly enough.
Anthem was great. I had to read it for school last year, and loved it.

Hi Sepik! I'm a sophomore too. (in college blaugh ) I've moved all over the United States but I consider Colorado (Denver) my home. I read Anthem a long time ago after having read Atlas Shrugged, but it remains one of my favorites still. I'm also very interested in Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. I'll do my best to answer any philosophical questions if you or anyone else would like to send a PM my way.
I also play the piano, have had my own little home recording studio, and I play tennis. Anyway, I'm excited about this place and glad it exists even if it never becomes very active. ;)

Hello! I'm Pinky and I'm also in tenth grade. I live in Arizona and 60 degrees F is cold to me. I used to play some piano, but gave it up because I disliked my teacher and her pressing political and religious views. I tend to be a bit grouchy and often talk out of place, but I like to think of myself as very intelligent and worth getting to know. I'm very glad this guild is here now, as several others that I joined for Ayn Rand turned into something else. It's very nice to meet you all!
I read Atlas Shrugged when I was in eighth grade and loved every moment. I remember how all my class mates teased me for reading something that big voluntarily, Especially since it wasn't for AR points (reading points, meh) or a grade of any kind. I was just doing it for fun! I tried reading it before in sixth grade, but couldn't urge myself to keep at it long enough to get past the first few chapters. After I read Atlas Shrugged in eighth grade, towards the ned of the year I read Anthem. It's hard to decide which one is my favorite. John Galt is just too hot, and The Golden One just inspires me to do so much more with my life. The two books are just so beautiful. smile

My name is Ami I have read four of Ayn Rand's wonderful books (Anthem, We the Living, Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged). I adore them. I am happy to see that I am not the only one on Gaia to enjoy her wonderful writings.

Call me Peppermint, or Pretty I suppose, since it never hurts to be called pretty...anyways, I have read all of Rand's fiction and some non-fiction, and love each dearly. I am in the 11th grade, play flute, and am the lead vocalist in my rock band.

Hey, My name is Michelle, I'm a first year Nursing student in lovely Nelsonville Ohio! I'm 18 years old. Unfortunately, this was my introduction to Ayn Rand. If I'd known about her earlier...wow. Just wow. I'm just completely in love with Anthem now, and I haev to read her other works!
But anyway, yeah. Im suppossed to be introducing myself not ranting about someone everyone already knows is a wodnerful author. basically my goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Pediatrics and psychology. I enjoy reading and I write some stories of my own, and the rest of the time I'm either studying...or avoiding studying *Laughs*

Hello everyone, I'm Philip, 2nd year mathematics major at University of California Riverside.
I got into Ayn Rand's writings in my Sophmore year of high school, and since then I've read just about anything I could get my hands on about her philosophy. I especially enjoy Epistemology, though it took me a couple reads through the Introduction to really understand it fully.
Anthem is a great book.

My name is Shannon, but I prefer Kurai or Kozo, if it's too hard to remember. Sorry to say, I have jsut read ansem! [if that post is all the ansem book]
Anyhow, I'm also in tenth grade, sophmore in high school and I'm 15. I was never into band, I took choir. I wans;t the ebst singer, but I was good, though I had to drop it this year becasue I didn't have room to take it. I'm very smart but I act like an idiot in real life and online sometimes too, after all, no one seems to like people who are smart nowadays.
I am an author as well, though my books arne't published. I have the prolouge and the first bit of Chapter one in my journal. I have been writing since I was eleven and a half, since I've been writing for abotu four years. Sadly though, no company wnats to publish me becasue I'm not 18 yet. I'm a big time drawer, and I wish I had photoshop, but all I have is paitn, and I love drawing freehand, so I guess that is wonderful ^-^

HI! My name is Ebonie But Ranay is fine as well. I play guitar and fool around with piano once in awhile, i love to draw its probably the second best theing i'm good at besides reading, i love to write i plan to write a short novel mayeb before college but some time during college for sure. I read Atlas Shrugged when i was a junior voluntarily. It was by far the greatest book i ever read, and one of the longest. The theories behind it are so deep and the characters so intense , i'm just mad i was born to late to meet her. I am currently a senior in high school with 2 AP classes so i haven't had time to really read freely, unless its something small, cause we get new books in AP Lit like ever few weeks and they are some intense books. but the next book on my list is Ayn's Fountainhead, i was going to read it in summer buyt after reading a thousand page book i thought i deserved a breather. but yea if you have any suggests on book that are great by any arthur, but especially Ayn tell me and i'll pick them up and read it i love hearing from another readers opinion and will take it into consideration, really!
