However I don't see why all of man are deserving freedom, or respect, or rights.

Frankly I think the only problem with the society Prometheus escaped was the leaders were gimpy mental retards who worried to much about bullshit sissy ideals of equality and other moronic notions.

and last but not least, did anyone else kinda wonder about International's sexuality?

Look, its a great story and I appreciate the way it cuts through the heart of hippie faggotry, but once again it shows eugenics in a negative light and denounces the merits of slavery and hive mentality when all three of these are perfectly acceptable in certain situations.

Or such is my opinion... Great story though.

What's so acceptable about slavery and hive mentality? And Objectivism has no real problem with eugenics, as long as it is not state-controlled eugenics. It certainly doubts that they'll do much good, but capitalism allows for trying to produce children with good genes biggrin

On the eugenics, as long as it is always done by choice and not force this is true (that there's nothing in O'ism saying it must not be done.) I think the main reason it doesn't do much good really is the typical criteria used in eugenics, things which really don't help or hinder genetically have been attempted to be kept from breeding, like race and people of various beliefs. Race doesn't matter as can be seen from the variation in all races in intelligence and other qualities and beliefs are picked up after birth and are not genetically determined. What could be more practical right now in practice would be things like if people who were already pregnant found out about genetic diseases the child had inherited which would most likely keep them from being able to have a productive (this word debatable here, but it is the one coming to mind right now) life and terminated the pregnancy. This won't strengthen the overall species in any way of course right now, but perhaps scientific research could eventually learn enough about human genetic structures that we could find ways that selective breeding could improve the species as a whole. The question is would this come in time to ever be practical or would technology for actual genetic alteration and other medical and/or technological procedures and enhancements come at around or before selective breeding would be efficient?
