I am familiar with Nordic/Germanic runes, (elder futhark) is there any way I can use to alter/use/or otherwise control the element of the spirit? (i.e. animal doubles, spiritual messaging, other)

i believe that man has made those runes and the spirits laugh cause they hide their lanuage.

He, the mysterys of the runes have largly been lost to time, but remember, the secreats to our power are not locked up in a book or a stone, but in ourselves. I dont mean to sound to "new agy" but in honesty if that is what you want, find a forest/river/hole whereever you feel the most connection to nature and attempt to become one with your surroundings

lol, I don't like the prospect of "New Age" considering it should be called "A renewal of the Ancient Age"
Oh and while we are on runes look up Ogham. (sometimes spelled Ogam) It is the original Irish Alphabet and it seems pretty interesting. (I myself have used Ogham Wisdom Sticks. It is a lot like tarot cards but I trust it more)

oh. ya. I suck at research. I heart wikipedia. I don't know anything about ancient stuff. I'm a modern, sciency kinda guy. I just joined this guild because I love animals so much. and trees. trees r kool.
