Ok I'll start with my dreams, as I've had the same thing occur over twenty times in the last few months!
The dreams in general; They usualy include myself being in strange surroundings that I don't recognise, from the normal to strange. One that I can remember was inside a bank that was closed for the day, on a busy highstreet, and the other was outside, I remember a huge warehouse, like an aircraft hangar and I was stood just by a perimiter fence.
The point thats picking at my brains is that every single one of these dreams includes people that were in my school. Now I am 19, and I left school at 16 as I live in the UK, so these people I have not seen in 3 years.
Before i ask for meanings, I'll tell you a little about my schooling.
I went to a school that was 11 miles from my home, it was in central Manchester, now I live in south Manchester. Appart from one person that I knew, almost everyone was from central/ north manchester, so outside of school I didn't see any of my friends. Now, the area that I live in is rough, realy rough, thats why my mum sent me to a school so far away... this means that I only have one friend at the minute where I live, because almost everyone that lives here that is my age are in gangs and whatnot.
Now then, after my five years of schooling I'd made quite a group of friends, but when school ended I came back down to south manchester and now I very very rarely speak to any of them because of the distance, so I now still only have the one friend thats in my area.
Back to the dreams, for months I've had the same dreams over and over, though they are all different dreams, different people from my school keep popping up here and there and it's becoming increasingly common.
I don't know why these people are constantly appearing in my dreams, some I can't even remember the names of! So if anyone could help, it'd be apreciated!
Second thing, is Astral projection. I have tried it a few times and spent a long while reading into it, I'd just like to get peoples personal opinions or accounts of what has happened to them ^^ Thanks!

As far as your dreams go, maybe you're just now letting go of the people you knew in school. Maybe you see yourself moving on to the next part of your life, and seeing them in your dreams is how you're letting go and moving on. Or it could be the reverse and that you're missing how it used to be, a sort of nostalgia, and missing people that you aren't close to anymore...thus the pop-up of the past into your dreams. That's just my thought on it, though.
As far as astral projection goes, the most vivid time it happened to me was a little over a year ago. I was lying in bed when it happened, I was suddenly whisked away onto this ledge overlooking the ocean. Everything was a lot more vivid than dreams; I could feel the breeze, smell the salt. Someone came up and we stood there together a while before I went back to my body.
Most of the time, though, it occurs in my sleep. I can tell it's there rather than a normal dream, because my dreams make sense then, and all images are a lot sharper.
So I can't really do it at will yet, and because I've run into some trouble there (I also get teased a lot), I haven't really put forth much of an effort to try it on my own.

Well I've already told you this Kate, but for any others that read...
My own experiences havn't been all that eventful though I havn't realy spent much time in trying. Mainly I spent a month or two reading and just exploring peoples sites they had made about it, I have hemi sync tapes downloaded though I don't realy hold much faith in them. I like to hear when I fall asleep.
All that I have had, was one night I was lay in bed, trying to relax and concerntrate on the energy flow from my feet, slowly coming up to my head. After that I felt my body going slightly numb, which usualy happened, though this time I felt my hands warm up significantly, and I mean to the extent that I could feel the heat from them against my legs (lay with my arms at my sides). I concerntrated on it for just a moment then heard a loud pop, or crack, and was wide awake, not that I'd been asleep, but I was instantly back fully conscious.
I've read about people hearing disturbing noises ranging from screams to cracks, pops, scratching and crawling things on the lowest levels of the astral but the sound didn't seem to come from my ears, more from inside my mind. Any ideas?
