We're planning a new Core RP for the Guild.
The first thread should take off within a couple of weeks, and as part of the planning, I'd like to know which games are the most popular, to make RPs based on those games.
I promise to study about those FFs for PS 2 and laters. At least until I can get a PS 3 and actually play those games.
So, come, share your ideas, vote, and be ready for we'll revive Rebirth.

If it's of any relevence, the older games would have better plotlines, but the newer ones are more well known.
From my experience, most people know from VII on. >.<

Well, in this context, "Older" means 1-6 while "Newer" means X and laters.
An well, yes, older games tend to have better storylines simply because they required a hook, and graphics and sound wouldn't avail.
Current storylines would be.... umh.... still nice, although the hook is speed in battle, astonishing graphics and ok sound.
I mean, how many AMVs have you seen about older games? while FF7 to 10 have lots and lots of AMVs from many different groups.
by the way, I recall that many people here like the monkey-boy's game...... such a shame my disks are in japanese, I can't understand the story...... and it's winning by 50% of the votes!

Hironobu Sakaguchi is quoted in saying that 9 is his favorite of the series, a truly story driven experience that focuses on the relationships and tribulations of a true group of misfits... Stapled together by a flimsy goal and often distracted by their own. Steiner defending his princess, and finding his own path, Freya with her quest to avenge her kingdom and find her lost love, Vivi to stop the misuse of his brethren power and get discover the machinations of his own creation.... Even the side characters had a long lasting effect, each one was deep and well crafted. Even Quina has a goal.
lol Just a game has never had such a long lasting effect on me...
That's i advocate it so strongly, it has flaws like all games but even the flaws grow on you... lol

YES! I LIVE! SCHOOL HASN'T EATEN ME ALIVE!!!! (....yet).
I suppose this means that I should finally get around to playing IX during Spring Break. sweatdrop . (Now that I've finished the Legacy of Kain series....damn you PL-senpai!)
Though I must admit that it's hard to make an AMV to something that's largely in pixels....unless you're doing something akin to 8-Bit Theater style....

I have to agree with Nani, everyone already knows to avoid Baka-sempai's Vivi opportunities
I know I'm not really too interested in Gaia anymore, and I wish I still was, cuz it was great when I was really in to it. Maybe I could play random Redshirts. Bit-part characters who die quickly (Dutiful Daughter Sara or the Treno Auctioneer maybe?). They dont have to die, just leave. I'd be going for insanity, humour and philosophy. Not necessarily in that order though. I'd be able to be involved without holding things back too much if I suddenly disappear. I could even include a clause that states if i dont post for a week or so without giving a prior reason or exiting my character then they can be forcibly removed by death, injury, accident, act of god, getting lost, falling in love etc.....
