Earth Day was a work day for me.
I did not have celebration plans, however, I:

Spread the word
Carpooled to work/school with my daughter
I always try to remember to recycle.

im a day late but happy earthday everybody. i never did much to celibrate it myself.

I believe yesterday Dominion got rid of most if not all there plastic bags and is going to start charging people 5 cents a bag for those who still use them. hopefully this will make people purchase those reusable bags.

smile My dorm won the recycle contest- 67 pounds of trash NOT going to a landfill! biggrin (and there's 90 girls in my dorm, btw)
The best part about a campus-wide recycle contest- the Earth wins!

I walked down to the Lake and picked up all the trash (and recyclables) on the beach...I accumalated 2 trashbags of non recyclable stuff as well as a bag of cans and bottles...it is not much but I do what I can to help smile
