I don't update livejournal much anymore, and I don't think all of you guys see it anyway.
My fiance, Henry, and I are doing really well in our relationship. We moved his 13 year old daughter in with us and have been in a custody battle over his son. We are having a hard time with his daughter with her attitude, and just general problems from the life style she had with her mother and adjusting to our lifestyle. We are also very, very hopefully going to have custody of his son, who will be 2 in February, and he will be moving in with us this week if all goes to plan.
In short, I may not be in to RP for a very long time until we can get things settled in and schedules set. I'll check in on you guys like I do now though.

Glad to see you didn't just disappear Nikki! Keep updating this to let me and other DS folks know where you are in life. I also check LJ often!

It turns out Henry's daughter is pretty much a lost cause. We tried our best to fix the things her mother had taught her wrong, and it just wasn't taking. She's back living with her mother again. This time she is enrolled in school, though. So far our home study has been approved. This means we can request the case be looked at again by the court. Henry's son should be coming to live with us very soon now. I'm doing my finals right now. Having issues with this online bullshit. One of the teachers never posted any kind of due dates in obvious places. I missed turning in one of my finals because of it.
