that The Host should be made into a movie?????
it would be a little gross with the cutting and soul inserting,
but it would be cool!!!!!!

I'm not sure.
I haven't read the Host, but, I'm pretty sure it would be a intruiging read, from what I've heard of it.

Justin, we all know my favourite series is the Twilight saga.
But The Host and the books shortly following are a very close second. Meyer's writing style has changed so much, it's like a Twilight saga written by J.K. Rowling. (Stepehenie Meyer's plots, character, dialogue is the best I have come across, but J.K. has a an advanced writing style. It seems in The Host, Meyer has stepped up in that department)
I wish Drew Fuller was cast as Ian. I swear everytime I read The Host, i picture Drew Fuller. <3

I loved that book. It would be good if it were made into a movie. I would be interesting how they would show what the souls look like.

Hmm.. not sure. It's kinda hard to imagine that as a movie. I'm only half-way through the book, but it's still sorta hard. It would take a lot of work. And if we are lucky, Summit won't get it.
No offense to the people who like Summit, but they didn't do a very good job of twilight, and I'm nervous about New Moon. I hope paramount would get it, or maybe some other big production people.

ive read the book...well part of it. and i didnt really like it. in the beginning (well where i left off) it was boring..and alittle confusing. not really interesting

Because of this thread, I went out and bought The Host. I LOVED IT!! I am getting through some other books and then I'm going to read it again! I've been telling every Twilight fan I know about it...any that I come across too...I think I know what my niece is getting for her birthday! She'll love this book to.
Yes it would make an awesome movie. The cutting is easy enough to get around. Just get the idea across without actually showing it. More movies do this already than people realize. Some fake blood on latex gloves holding a scalpel and call it a day. The souls would be easy too. I imagined a miniature of the creatures from The Abyss just more elongated and not so smooth looking. wow...i must watch too much sci fi channel...
