History/culture
Salano squirmed in her nest. It was time to go to bed... But she didn't want to go to bed! She needed more time awake... She needed... She needed to stall.
"Daddy, tell me a story!" she begged as Syoto lay down nearby.
"Uh... A story?" he repeated doubtfully, "Um, maybe your mother could just sing you a song..." He looked toward the cave entrance. "AQUAAAA!!!"
That wouldn't work. Aqua would either a) sing a short song or b) sing a lullaby that would put Salano to sleep. And the goal was to stay awake. So... No. It had to be Syoto. He was long-winded enough to draw out any story.
"No, I want YOU to tell me a story!" she pleaded, "The story of.... of... The story of how your reign began!"
"Oh," Syoto blinked. Salano knew she had him. He could never resist telling that story... "Well, if you insist..."
HISTORY
As told by Syoto
Once upon a time, a magnificent dragon was born. He knew that he was meant to rule all of the dragons. He was meant to take care of them, and decide things for them, and give a couple of them the opportunity to become his servants. That dragon's name was Syoto, King of the Dragons.
Unfortunately, there had been some kind of mistake, and the young king had been removed from the nest of his royal family, assumably by the treasonous pack that he was born into. To make things worse, the icky pack - led by, UGH, Cartography, AKA 'Cart' - didn't believe that Syoto was really the king of dragons! Cart was obviously the leader, and a threat to the crown, and he no doubt brain-washed the rest of the pack to keep the young king from getting the loyal court he deserved.

Rank/skills/possible royal job: She could be a cook/hunter or a somewhat servant. She'd probably prefer to be a servant of the king or queen rather than the kids. Instead of being a groveling servant, she'd probably be working because of a debt or something.

Alright! Yeah....
So, what kind of debt... Maybe... Ithnan once again took too long hunting - perhaps this is while he's visiting his daughter - so Syoto sent Aprio to track something down... She brought down a deer but couldn't get it all the way back to the cave so she went to get Syoto to bring him back to the kill, leaving the carcass unsupervized... A hungry Reiterei comes along and digs in? Then when a hungry, cranky Syoto comes back with Aprio and finds her... twisted

*snickers* I can possibly see Gabe coming and going but not actually stay for long periods of time with the others. He would probably think they were nuts and not believe the whole monarcy bussiness but still be amused by them.

Alright then. If you want him to be an official member of the pack - but one who wanders and isn't there half the time - post the form, por favor. If you'd rather just have him not be in the pack, but hangs out with the pack occasionally because he's Salano's 'assasin', no form is required. whee

I can see Salano declairing him a part of the pack and Gabe shrugging and going along with it. Speaking of which that might be a good RP for him and Salano to do before she gets older because he would be more likely to go along with it if she's still a child in his eyes.
