Valjirak

The necromancer who is the source of the black magic leakage causing the Rage. He has a cruel and twisted heart (or lack thereof). He made his appearance on the mainland one thousand and thirty years ago and built his dark laboratory in the Core Mountains. Having not contained the excess black magic from his experiments, it drifted into the air and leaked into the rivers which were rooted beneath his lab. This caused the magic excess to cover the entire continent. Although the seas were mostly unharmed by this, some of the surrounding waters and islands became infected too. Interestingly, Valjirak's name is derived from "Val" meaning "desire", and "Rak" meaning Death. "Ji" being a term meaning 'of''. Whether he was named that from the start or he changed his name himself is unknown.

Nyxira Falokano-Xiril

-Nyx {niks} is the rough mannered yet agile and oddly graceful tomboy of a sky pirate. Although the Moulshiarin girl has a good-heart and is boldly adventurously, she doesn't posses very good people skills. Nyx tends to be brash and sarcastic, and often inadvertently hurts others through her awkward social skills. However, despite her flaws, she is willing to give up everything and go out on a limb to protect her friends, and even those she does not know but are in danger.
-She suffers from DireWrath when greatly angered or upset, a not unheard of trait for her race that is possibly the source of the superstitious belief that Moulshiarinvi are a type of demon race.
-Nyxira's name means 'dream', but her nickname of Nyx comes from the pleasant term for 'shadow'.

Rasmin Ladaorsul

-Rasmin is the sweet and good natured Meravian healer who possesses the rare ability to neutralize Nyxira's feral DireWrath. Even as sweet and gentle as she is, she is still not exactly the norm as far as girls go. She is both adventurous and kind, and she doesn't tend to talk about boys very much. Rasmin is as fluid and graceful as wind and water.
-She is the product of a Mermaid and Avian-man marriage, and it shows in her nature. She is able to go about on dry land for long periods of time, and she enjoys rock climbing and flying. Her mother was the breed of mermaid that has legs, rather than tails.
-Her name means 'white bird'

Tirizarak Lankoru
{teer-ee-zah-rak} {lahn-koh-roo}
-Tir is Nyx' close companion and fellow sky pirate who is like a brother to her. Although wild and fun-loving (and often foul-mouthed), he is quite sensitive and gentle, despite what he may claim. He loves music and is almost always seen with his headphones on, around his neck at the very least. He can also be heard singing pirate shanties at the top of his lungs quite often. Tir loves fighting almost as much as music.
-Although the Sky elf is very close to Nyx, he is not immune to her fits of DireWrath.
-His name means 'Blade's song'.

Bahnkoruhil Haur ((WIP))

-Bahn is definitely the macho sort. He displays his toughness with a great deal of pride, but he can loosen up sometimes and show that he has a fun side. The big and burly man can easily be likened unto a dragon.
