Her eyes were her name-sake; when she was born her eyes were not the common baby blue but like a dangerous thunderhead that threatened a terrible storm. [Celaeno is also a meaning for a part of a storm]Often those eyes are framed between thick black rimmed glasses. She has medium build with wide hips and toned muscles from years of training in the martial arts. Her movements are fluid

The harpy has copper wings that are extremely sharp like metal and can cause a thundering sound when she flaps them. The harpy is terrifying, a face one would only see in nightmares. Her eyes are white and could bore into your head like a strike of lightening. This monster has grotesque facial features and sharp claws on its feet and hands. It walks on all fours with a beastly hunch to its gate.

The size of the creature is about seven to eight feet tall standing up straight with a wingspan of thirty feet across, fifteen for each wing.
×[Personality] Ever since birth she has been trained emotionally almost like a vulcan on Star Trek. She's quiet and calm with a terrible [Inherited from her father] temper. She respects people and is very understanding of situations and emotions. She could be considered the 'nerd'. She is socially awkward and is antisocial, usually found on the outer parts of where a party is taking place.
Other than being emotionally withdrawn she's a smart a**, sarcastic and generally nice when she finally opens up to others around her. Hidden parts of her mind reveal that she is somewhat psychotic from the Harpy's mind influence on her.

The Harpy side:
Like the Hulk in her father, the Harpy is the base of Celaeno's rage. Wild and ferocious and completely psychotic, the harpy is nearly the opposite of her. Where Laney is tamed the creature is unrefined and course like shark hide. However it is also extremely smart and clever

×[History] As a child Celaeno had been the worry of Bruce Banner's life. She was never allowed to go outside without her father or so much as cross the street without holding his hand. He was over protective and constantly a nag to her. She never had chances to experience things normally as other kids did. Laney grew up never knowing her mother and Bruce did not bother to explain to her who she was. It always made Celaeno curious to find pictures of a strange woman smiling with her father. Other than that the origins of her mother were a mystery.

As she grew, she developed a seperate personality that fed off of her rage and fear. The personality was an incarnation of an age-old being, ancient and forgotten. This wasn't a simple shadow that could be looked over and chided to think it's not real. Every nightmare The little girl had was of the harpy's face and the terror. It wasn't until the child aged to sixteen when she had her first attack. It was the first time Bruce gave slack and let her go on a school camping trip to the Redwood Forest. Because she was socially accepted as a geek and a regular nerd back then she was often the butt of some cruel joke and ridiculed by her parental origin. One jibe from a social butterfly had sent her over the edge. Thus bringing forth her rage and gruesome transformation into the harpy her father's genes had created.

When she woke up finally she found herself high in one of the branches of the redwoods. The only person she called was her father who came straight over. She was taken out of school and was tutored privately and trained to control her emotional range.

The harpy transformation--
The Harpy comes out only in environments where extreme stress is induced on Celaeno's body.
The harpy's abilities include flight and extreme strength. The harpy can produce storm-forced winds from her wings and electricity can at times fly out from them in chaotic bolts.
Her talons are sharper than any blade and deadlier than any bullet.

Psionic abilities--
All though she inherited her father's mosntrous gene [not from gamma radiation] she developed her psionic abilities from her mother.
She has telepathy and telekinesis but like her mother she keeps them secret from others. She also has the ability to pass into other worlds.

She also has natural agility and strength with faster reflexes than the average human.
