The Codes of the Guild
Rules! Every guild needs them! So i have decided to make a new set of rules to help us keep things sane wit in the The Gaian Extraordinary Institute of Wizardry It is important that all these rules are followed, and listened to if we wish to keep this a fun place!
If the rules are Broken, punishment will be given (You can find punishments further in this post) Nobody is exempt from the rules, all must follow.
General Rules
•Races and Pet's must be approved! You can find the Race Approval List here and the Pet Approval List here. If your race or character is *NOT* Approved, then obviously you do not have this ability. This is very important for non human-races, and pet users.
•This is a WIZARD SCHOOL ROLEPLAY, Loosely based on the J.K. Rowling Books (All though we are not a part of potter world) Please be fitting to the proper feel of the guild. We use Spells And Magic- Not weapons and swords. If fighting takes place it must be with wands and proper magic you can find our APPROVED SPELL LIST here, It is important that all members read that list.
•The Major Storyline is ran by the Storyline Board- which means anything major or big (I.e. Fires, Deaths, Monster attacks) which is outside the board must be approved. This has been a major problem in the guild, in order to keep our storylines alive, and not mess things up this is very important. If you have ANY Questions regarding Storylines, please speak to them. You can contact them by posting under the storyline zone or faq/ help section.
• Godmodding Bad! Bad Bad! when you roleplay,please try to think fairly. (I.E. You can't randomly attack somebody and make it happen, they get a choice, You can't use an ultimate object on somebody, and it last's on them forever! or they can't dodge it, or escape it. Your Not a God or super powerful.) The only ones who are allowed to get past this rule- are NPC's-due to storyline. For a full explanation please Check this interesting guide out. •Please do not PM Professor Clovenhoove with silly questions, and random questions- all questions are to be ask at the FAQ Section. Unless it is of dire importance, please do not bug her, she is very busy!
•NPC (Non Playable Characters) are NO MATCH FOR YOU they are strictly for storylines and fun! Please do not try to fight them, you will be pointed and laughed at! And YES NPC's are entitled godmodders, if we want to be entertained-deal.
•This is a major rule right here, so i hope you all follow and understand. Professors and Adult characters are not allowed to date student characters. No If's or Boot's, reason being? Gaia is strict, and believe it or not we have parents watching the guild. Professors are to be adults, and students are to be children, If a Student and Professor are dating this is considered *****>, and we can get in lots of trouble for that, perhaps even shut down. This rule will have no warnings, it will be instant ban if caught. Harsh? i want this place to last, many have fun here- do not kill it for them.
•When Roleplaying in Towns, Keep down the OOC- I noticed OOC (Out of character) happens a lot in the towns, this kills the roleplay. Please save OOC for things like Instant messages, Pm's, and Guild chat.
