The television set was completely blank, just a black screen of nothingness. You checked the set just to make sure it was on, which it was, so instead you decided to just change the channel when all of a sudden a light flashed on.
"Don't touch that dial!" The lady with the blue hair announced, standing in the center of the spotlight. "Because, it's time for the Sky Aero show!" The entire studio lit up, the curtains behind her split to show the Armarian skyline, there was a green haired girl with thick glasses carrying a bunch of files to her, along with a heavyset brunette man, they set the folders down behind her and then spun their way off screen.
"And today, on the Sky Aero show we are going to... dim the lights." She said, and so the lights obeyed, dimming themselves to the point where there was a heavy shadow on the woman. "We're going to light a candle," She held out her hand and one of the crewmen placed a lit candle into her palm. "And we are going to study the dynamic of the Fallen Flames."
The lady with the blue hair, which was obviously Sky Aero, sat down on the desk and shut the curtains with a snap of a finger. "It's story time!"

Sky hummed the tune to a familiar song and cracked open her binder. "Once upon a time there was a-" The spotlight abruptly shut off. "Hey, who turned off the- ow! Secu-"
"Once upon a time there was a wonderful princess, living in a wonderful castle full of wonderful people and her wonderful sister, Prairie." The lights flashed on again, to show a woman in a blue and black hoodie sitting where Sky once was, she had fairly short raven hair and even from the angle the camera was on her, you could tell that she had a fairly round behind. "The princess herself was very beautiful, she had long, raven hair dressed all up in azure and darkness, often wore the short dress of her clan and was very obedient to her father and mother, the king and queen of her castle. She studied and practiced all of her skills, being taught by her personal trainer in the art of war and so set out to claim the other lands of her world, uniting it under a single rule. And so, it was in harmony for many years." She shut the book closed and stood up from the desk as the a younger girl appeared beside her. Now you could see Sky being taped to the blinds by a man in a dark blue coat with hair to match and another one who looked very feminine.
"But one day..." The lights dimmed again. "A very, very evil man arrived at the castle, he was Crimson clad and a b*****d of the highest caliber! You all should know this man as Crimson! He snuck into the palace and assaulted the rulers of the land, murdering the Queen's husband at the time, and encasing the Queen herself in stone before stealing her sacred weapons and tearing down the castle, leaving poor Midori Spira and Prairie Onsuat the princess and princess's sister standing in a demolished kingdom. But we wouldn't let this- I mean they wouldn't let this pass, for they traveled through the gateway into your world and searched for allies. They found a man who was heartsick, but was also swift with a trigger and accurate to boot. And a man made of iron, strong enough to life entire ships! That guy." She pointed towards the effeminate man in the back. "What do you mean by-"
"And a very powerful genie to aid them in their quest for justice! But finding the man wasn't too easy, so they decided to join the Guild's ranks as mercenaries, as Fallen Flames and so helped the people of the fair city of Armarus. But it wasn't too simple, the Vanguard was always in their way, taking information from them and negating our heroes and chance at making things right. So they struck fear into them and they struck back, keeping tabs on the group and even threatened to have them incarcerated! It would've possibly happened too if it weren't for the guild. These events brought on a new purpose for the group, not only to slay Crimson and his band of evil bandits, but also expunge the corruption from the Vanguard's ranks! For we are fallen flames." She snapped her fingers, turning all lights on.
"So go ahead! Join the Flames, we're looking for the best of the best, and you may just be of use!"
