The American Christian Peacemaker, Tom Fox's body was discovered in Bagdahd around the 11th of March showing sgins that he has been tourtered.
Now still missing are two Canadians and a Birton. Earlier in the week before Fox's body was found, a video had been released showing the three of them alive, but no new demands have been made to my knowledge, and they have been held snice Nov. 26, so I wonder what everyone else thinks of this.
Do you suppose that the hostages will be released soon? Or what else might happen to them. And the others that have been taken so far in Iraq.

I get frustrated when I hear about hostage situations. It seems like we don't do enough to save them...
But then again, I don't know much about politics and war, so we could quite possibly be doing our best.

masterkiki ..........ugh..... is anyone doing soemthing about it? There is dipolmats in Iraq working to try and have them freed. There has been several vigils by the Canadian's families to try and keep them in the limelight and peoples thoughts on them. When it first happened, the president of the Canadian Islamic Concil (or called something closed to that) went there to plead for their release but to no luck.
Last I heard their demands was the release of all Iraqis in prisions.

Good good news! The other three hostages have been freed by British troops and are safe in Iraq now still. Its still sad that the family of Fox won't be able to feel the release of having a loved one saved that the others get.
But now they are freed, and its a good thing.

Skuffy Sileny Oh...oh dear. Oh, I hate war... What war? Last time I checked, the thing in Iraq was just a mission. Four years is one very long mission, its a war. Its part of this so called "War on Terrorism" that if you ask me won't ever end.

The three remaining hostages were rescued by the British Special Air Service (SAS). The SAS used intelligence and timing to rescue the hostages without a single shot being fired. They rescued them when their captives left the building. The British hostage, Norman Kember, has returned to his house in Hillingdon. It was in my local paper. He's a local boy. xp
