If you have any questions, either about the lore, or some inner workings of this guild, ask them here. Me or one of the crew will attempt to answer your questions as soon as possible!

Question. I've gathered that our Horrors are manifestations of fear, nightmares made real and all. But does Terra Mortis just a planet or is it it's own universe? Does the fear of various universes flow into it to create it's Horrors? And most of all, do multiples exist? I'm assuming there are multiple Vampires, but are there multiples of the same TYPE of Vampire? Or, more specific to myself, more of the same species of alien? Say an alien wanted to call in his buddies to invade the planet for example, do they exist or is he the only one of his kind? In that vein, where do Horrors come from? Rather, do they just pop into existence from Human fear or does Human fear align events to cause them to be created? Does fear cause Frankenstein's Monster to be birthed from the shadows, or does the fear inspire Dr. Frankenstein to create it?

ok I have a few questions but Ill try and keep it short.

A: I have no idea really what is going on, I just know that the character set up was fun and I was promised that it would be all kinds of fun to rp here, I believe it but I honestly have no idea where to start or where to put my character or even what I would be doing.

B: Is this more of a slasher movie fan club? like just freddie cruger and jason or whichever just a guild to play around with the idea of movie monsters? I dont mean to be critical about it but all my characters are less so monsters and more so people who have potential to be seen as monsters even act as monsters if provoked. My characters have depth, not evil for the sake of being evil. More so vengeful and rightfully angry in their quests. that sort of bit. I am just worried my characters will not fit in.

C:is there a group of prisoners or monster ish characters that are not out to just shed blood and be movie monsters? I could use a membership in that group for my characters.

Okay, so this is probably going to be very complicated, so if you have any follow-up questions to what I'm going to say please just ask away.

First of all, I'd like to say that pretty much everything is structured in a way to give you as much creative freedom as possible. The initial idea for this RP is "a battle Colosseum for horror stuff" and I wanted to make it so anybody could make anything that fit without worrying about what other people already did that may be similar.

Terra Mortis is an "alternate world", so I'd say its probably more of an alternate universe. It basically exists off the fear and nightmares of mankind, which is simply a power source for it to exist. Have you ever played or at least heard of Kingdom Hearts? That's essentially how Terra Mortis works. It's not so much a single world as it is a collection of pocket dimensions varying in size. So really, it's a world of many smaller worlds, and each of these worlds can be thought of as "horror movies". What I mean by that is that usually each planet is specifically geared towards one story or Horror. One world can be nothing but a castle haunted by a vampire, another world can be exactly like Earth, where the denizens of the world think its Earth, and it's dealing with a zombie apocalypse. There are usually a very small amount of actual Horrors per world, there are actually A LOT of worlds with just one as a matter of fact.

The worlds of Terra Mortis can fit into three categories: worlds which are not aware of the other worlds and don't even know they are part of a grander scheme called "Terra Mortis", worlds which are aware of other worlds and MAY know they are part of Terra Mortis but don't know how to travel to other worlds, and finally, worlds that are aware they are part of Terra Mortis and know how to freely travel between worlds. Typically, the last category of world usually has many Horrors living in them due to the tendency for worlds like them to be connected to hundreds or even thousands of other worlds.

Finally, there's the travel between worlds, which is simply calls "The Mists". The Mists tend to show up randomly in worlds, and anyone who walks into them will be sent to another world. The third category of world knows how to summon these Mists and control them so they can be used to travel anywhere.

Short answer: Terra Mortis is really just a collection of worlds where terrible stuff happens. Some worlds know what they are, some don't. Really, they're just an excuse for anything to happen.

So what kind of jobs does the theater have for humans other than security? Most of the humans I see here are just security guards who can hold their own against horrors but I imagine there has to be other jobs.

There are other jobs, chiefly members of the press (which require the Skype chat we have). There are some other jobs that are more... unfortunate. And it's an established joke that they all do a VERY TERRIBLE JOB too. Chiefly, there's the janitors... yeah they exist, but they don't really clean the place up much. There are cooks, and they mostly cook for the guards and Director, there are a few engineers and even plumbers, really, think of any job that would fit into the staff of a prison and you could probably fit it in somehow.
