▌ REAL NAME × 〉 Unavailable ▌ALIASES × 〉 Corrupt, Slipstream ▌ AGE × 〉 Unknown | Appears to be late twenties ▌ GENDER × 〉 Speculated to be male ▌ BIRTHDAY × 〉 Unavailable ▌ SPECIES × 〉 Materialized Mechanical Virus ▌ SEXUAL ORIENTATION × 〉 Unavailable
▌ HEIGHT × 〉 6'4" ▌ WEIGHT × 〉 200 lbs ▌ HAIR COLOR × 〉 N/A ▌ EYE COLOR × 〉 N/A ▌ VOICE × 〉 Corrupt's voice is characterized to sound like a myriad of different voices speaking at once, each a different entity, never a cohesive whole to indicate some lack of a cohesive mind; though there is one voice that is consistent throughout. This voice is characterized to an echo of a masculine and aged male, cold and unforgiving with a sinister tone underlying its seriousness. However there also appears to be what is characterized as a childlike and almost feminine voice that presents itself from time to time. ▌ DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS × 〉 Mechanical 'shell' that functions as its body.
▌ LIKES × 〉 + Learning: Corrupt continually seeks to learn more of its surroundings, to be able to adapt and evolve further beyond what it already knows. + Fighting: If there is one thing that Corrupt truly 'enjoyed' it would be fighting, which is in his core, the one action he gains from. + Machines; Corrupt has an innate affinity with mechanical constructs, often tearing into them and observing how they function in this dimension. ▌ DISLIKES × 〉 - Living Organisms: Corrupt has what would be characterized as 'disdain' for organic creatures. - Water: Though Corrupt has no weakness to water, something about the element just irritates him, perhaps how amorphous it is. - Stupidity: One thing that Corrupt dislikes above many things is stupidity among biological creatures. Though he accepts that he is technologically superior, he doesn't necessarily enjoy conversing with creatures with the mindset of a psychotic, delusional -oh wait.... ▌ FEAR × 〉Mortality: If Corrupt were to fear anything, it would be the idea of ceasing to exist altogether, though he actively seeks to ensure that he never fully ceases to exist. ▌ GOAL × 〉 Corrupt has no goals. He is simply an entity who seeks to further evolve and learn. ▌ BEHAVIOR × 〉 Corrupt is generally characterized as the cold and killer type. He maintains a calm exterior in battle. He has a forever inquisitive and insatiable desire for knowledge. Always watching, always learning, Corrupt spends little conversing and other interactive activities and spends it observing. However there are occasional moments where there seems to be a 'glitch' in his system that will take control and reveal itself, most likely due to his failing integrity. This glitch or quirk in his personality often takes on the persona of a child like mentality, playful in nature and docile, highly unlike Corrupt's regular behavior. There seems to be a peculiar loophole in Corrupt's system that one conscious is completely unaware of the other and result in them having no prior memory of events that happened while the other is active. ▌ BIOGRAPHY × 〉 The entity that has come to be known simply as Corrupt is an Artificial Intelligence that comes from unknown regions, though it is speculated that he comes from a different galaxy or even an alternate universe. Corrupt came to Earth on a meteorite, landing somewhere in Japan where locals quickly flocked to the site of his crash. From the fragments of the meteorite poured forth an amorphous mass of nanobots that loosely took on the form of the bipeds that it encountered. Fascinated by its surroundings, the entity that later became known as Corrupt explored Japan, taking on a more appropriated form of what seemed to be a ninja like figure. Ever since his arrival, he has been sought after by the government in attempts to study his origin though their searches for him ended in vain. Ever since his arrival there have been reports of missing people numbering in the hundreds as he began to abduct and experiment the extent of his capabilities on human subjects. Corrupt eventually left behind the regular human beings for testing as he sought more unique organisms. His searches led him to the Theater where he discovered a number of 'unique' individuals whom he could observe. He willingly allowed himself to partake in these 'games' in order to further analyze what this world had to offer. Since he can't fully 'die' without being later resurrected by the Theater, he will often spend his time sparring with others and allow for them to do their worst to them if they are able to as he will simply inevitably recover.
▌ SIGNATURE WEAPONS × 〉 Corrupt's weapons are virtually limitless, as it is able to create anything it desires through the use of its nanobot's ability to create. However he prefers the use of bladed gauntlets, each equipped with two straight blades that are capable of retracting and the use of other 'historical' ninja like weapons. ▌ FIGHTING STYLE × 〉 Corrupt will generally spend the early stages of a fight dodging his opponent, analyzing their movements, their abilities, their actions. Corrupt learns from his opponent, the style in which they fight and stores it away till he is ready or if his opponent is foolish enough to exhaust themselves before he takes action. He will generally set the field by dodging and splitting himself into several clones to seek out his opponent's blind spots and weaknesses in battle before moving in for surgically placed strikes at important areas on the fighter's body. Very rarely will Corrupt go on an aggressive offense against his opponent, but when he does, the full force and fury of his coding designed to maim and kill shows itself. ▌ EXECUTIONS × 〉 "Grand Scheme" (Fatality) - An execution that typically involves a number of Corrupt's clones to die before utilizing. As Corrupt's clones fall in battle and leave behind a 'pool' of inactive nanobots, he will typically drive his opponent to stand in these pools. Upon being within close enough proximity to these pools, Corrupt can reach out with his consciousness to reactivate them and use them. He will typically order the pooled nanobots to shape themselves into tendril like spikes that pierce the opponent's feet and stab into their lower legs, thus pinning them in place while the nanobots enter his opponent's bloodstream and effectively function like diamond dust entering a human's system, shredding and tearing them up on the inside, lacerating and liquefying organs and blood vessels.
"Shadow Step" (Incapacitation) - A nonlethal end to a fight, Corrupt assaults his opponent from all angles with himself and his clones, using his ability to blink and get within attack range of the opponent and catch them off guard. Each of Corrupt assaults the enemy's ligaments and muscles that are crucial to them being able to move and fight. Corrupt severs them all to completely immobilize the target and render them unable to further battle.
▌ STRENGTHS × 〉Corrupt, being an entity of digital and mechanical nature, feels no pain when taking damage and is incapable of having effects that would normally apply to biological entities (Impalement without severing for example does absolutely nothing to him). His body is capable of self repairing missing limbs based on their proximity to his head though the speed at which it repairs varies based off the damage, and if decapitated, takes an extremely long time to recover as a majority of Corrupt's consciousness is stored there. He is able to effectively split himself into several clones of himself though each clone has drastically reduced combat efficiency per clone he creates. If these 'clones' take fatal damage (Getting decapitated or run through) they will simply fall to the ground in a pool of nanobots that are temporarily inactive. ▌ WEAKNESSES × 〉 Intense heat and powerful electrical charges are two of the greatest weaknesses that Corrupt has. Intense heat causes the nanobots that make up his form to temporarily lose the ability to self replicate and repair as well as causing a decline in Corrupt's ability to maintain a cohesive form. Powerful electrical charges affect Corrupt's ability to function properly, such as locking up his movements or denying him the ability to function at full combat efficiency. A strong enough burst of electromagnetic energy is also capable of shutting him down permanently, frying his consciousness and rendering him to little more than a pile of expensive junk. If Corrupt takes extensive damage to his body, he will be unable to repair himself and effectively die. Decapitation will also result in immediate death for him as he will 'think' himself to death being unable to spread his conscious out over the billions of nanobots that are in his body that function like storage.
▌ THEME SONG × 〉 Echo (Cover) - Juby Phonic ▌ QUOTES × 〉 "Knowledge is strength, and through time and space I have learned forbidden knowledge" ▌ INSPIRATIONS × 〉 Origin wise based similarly to Viral from TMNT, though the ability and fighting style is based off of Zed from League of Legends ▌ ALLIES × 〉 N/A ▌ ENEMIES × 〉 N/A ▌ CRUSH × 〉 N/A
▌ EXTRA / NOTES × 〉 Corrupt's body is comprised of billions of self repairing and replicating nanobots that can alter Corrupt's form and offer bodily repairs. He is capable of making up to two additional copies of himself with the use of his nanobots. He also functions as a sparring 'bot' of sorts to learn and adapt. However Corrupt will effectively 'die' if any severe damage is done to his head, or if heavy enough damage is inflicted to his body, causing a mass failure in his coding and inability to maintain his conscious to reproduce and repair itself.
ABILITY DETAILS
Nanobots: Corrupt's body is made of nanobots that can repair him and make clones of him. +Corrupt has limb recovery, though the time it takes to heal it completely varies. Losing a hand/foot will take 2 posts to recover. Losing a limb entirely like an entire arm/leg will take 4 posts to recover. Decapitation results immediately in Corrupt losing the battle as the time it takes to recover would result in him being forfeit. +Corrupt's nanobots are able to split themselves and make a cloned version of Corrupt that functions at reduced combat efficiency as his initial form though they are much more agile than his initial form. He can have up to 2 clones active at any given time; any more will result in him being unable to maintain control across multiple bodies and cause them all to disintegrate into pools. His clones entirely lack Corrupt's innate ability to self heal and recover lost limbs, meaning that any fatal wounds will cause them to effectively lose cohesiveness and turn them into a pool of inactive nanobots. +They are also able to alter his body and weapons. He can change his entire weapon loadout once per battle to suit fighting an opponent. This cannot apply to any of his clones however.
Blink: Corrupt has the ability to use one of his most powerful abilities which is the ability to alter time and space immediately around his body, pulling him out of existance and reappear instantly at a nearby location. However due to the enormous amount of energy that this requires from Corrupt, it can only be used a maximum of 2 times in a battle. His clones are able to utilize the ability 1 time but quickly disintegrate shortly after use. A clone that uses Blink will disintegrate 2 posts after use.
Parameters for Death: If Corrupt loses 3/4 of his limbs then it will result in system failure which results in him dying. Any loss of his head from his main body will also result in death because he is unable to spread his consciousness over the billions of nanobots that are in his body which will result in him 'thinking' himself to death. Powerful EMP attacks are also capable of shutting him down which for mechanical constructs is the equivalent of death.
Hey there! My concern with Corrupt is the fact that he literally cannot die- a big part of the Theater is for the opponents to kill each other all the time, and it's important that everyone dies once in a while. While you make up for Corrupt's powerful abilities with important weaknesses (I appreciate that he can be temporarily shut down), it's kind of important that there's SOME WAY for him to actually die (and come back later, as they all inevitably do), or it just becomes a fight that everyone knows the outcome to. Fix that and quote me, please.

Yea, I figured there would be an issue with that, mostly because I was not exactly sure how the whole death thing was going to work out at first. His inability to 'die die' was mostly just for him to have a logical way of reviving himself later. Honestly I don't intend for him to be winning often, so I will most likely accept a loss before the roleplay finishes. I have reworded ways he is able to 'fully die' under the Extra Notes, changed strong enough EMP related attacks to instant death under Weaknesses. I have also added a new section under the spoiler tab for any clarity on what can be done to kill him.

▌ HEIGHT × 〉 7'2" ▌ WEIGHT × 〉 190 lbs ▌ HAIR COLOR × 〉 Blonde ▌ EYE COLOR × 〉 Yellow ▌ VOICE × 〉 Skinner's voice has a rather mischievous tone to it. He will occasionally speak in riddles and has an underlying tone of ill will and malice with it, yet there seems to be a strangely comforting and soothing aspect to it when he speaks. ▌ DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS × 〉 The "Comedy of Theater" mask that is surgically attached to his face and impossible to remove without ripping his face off.
▌ MARTIAL STATUS × 〉 Widower ▌ FAMILY × 〉 Diana Skinner (Wife - Deceased) Luna Skinner (Daughter- Deceased)
▌ LIKES × 〉 +Humor: Skinner enjoys cracking jokes, however good or bad they might be, even if the situation doesn't call for it. +Kids: No, not in the ***** sense you little sick shits; Skinner just has a soft spot for kids as they remind him of his daughter. +Smiles: Skinner likes seeing smiles of people, whether they are dead or alive, and would most likely rip your head off if you have a frown and set your head upside down to 'flip that frown upside down'. ▌ DISLIKES × 〉 -Buzzkills: Skinner doesn't have a particular liking to people who lack a sense of humor or admonish it. -The Past: Skinner doesn't particularly like being reminded of his past, especially of his wife and daughter. -Ugly Things: Skinner has what could be comparable to a small child with monsters on a more comedic scale. If anything, Ugly things disgust Skinner to an extent. ▌ FEAR × 〉Skinner fears nothing as he has lost everything that he had held dear in his life. He is a mere hollow shell of the man he once was, resorting to comedy to help him bear the pain of his tragedy. ▌ GOAL × 〉 Put a smile on all the faces of those with a sick and twisted mind so that they may share his perspective. ▌ BEHAVIOR × 〉 Skinner's personality is that of a light and playful mind with underlying tones of dark, sick twistedness. If anything many would refer to him as a child or a trickster, which he is very good at portraying both. Though beneath that never moving mask lies a mind that has been rotted and twisted beyond recognition of its original self. What was once pure and playful is now rotted and wretched with an overriding sense of duty to put a smile on all he comes across, whether it be through the sport of killing others or something other. Skinner has a rather lighthearted and freespirited air around him when around people of older ages (Over the age of fifteen) yet he behaves in a kind and gentle manner in the most sincerest of ways, not unlike a father figure to the young children of the world. ▌ BIOGRAPHY × 〉 Oliver Skinner was born in the United Kingdom, and was born from a very regular pair of parents who raised him like any other regular child. However his life would be far from regular. Throughout his childhood, other children poked fun at him for being taller than most kids of his age, that and the fact that he had some genetic mutation that caused his eyes to be yellow. For those two reasons alone, children teased and poked fun at Skinner, calling him a 'horror' or a freak. Though at first Skinner was grievously wounded by these words, his parents had taught him to cope with any way that he could think of, so, Skinner resorted to comedy and humor to help ease his pains in life. When children made fun of him, he would simply laugh and smile at their words and make a few jokes in response like, "Run or I'll get you!" or things of that nature. This scared off some kids but there were still a number of them that continued to tease him throughout most of his early life. Some time in the sixth grade he met a young girl who was a year younger than him who was being teased. Skinner didn't pay much notice to her at first as he shrugged it off as something she could get over, but day after day, he watched this girl be teased and time after time the words seemed to cut deeper and deeper to the point where she simply cried, and cried. It was at this point that Skinner began to intervene and protect this girl from verbal abuse. The girls' tormentors didn't take too kindly to Skinner's interference and thus began to physically abuse him to get him to buzz off. Skinner refused and instead laughed at them, making fun of them and cracking jokes like, "My grandmother hits harder than you and she's dead!". The physical torment did not go unnoticed, as adults began to intervene and parents were brought into the situation. The tormentors were severely punished and Skinner was beaten nearly half to death because he tried to protect the younger girl and the tormentors thought him to be a freak. Yet Skinner still managed to put on a smile. When the girl asked why Skinner stood up for her, he simply told her that she looked much better smiling instead of crying, and that she should smile more. The two became close friends as he helped her overcome her insecurity by making her laugh, easing her sadness with humor. The girl's name was Diana Sawyer, whom Skinner would eventually marry and become Diana Skinner. Diana saw past what others had teased Skinner over. His height, his eyes, nothing about him bothered her one bit, and for that they became close with each other. Come high school, they would be officially dating and all the way through college as well. A few years after college, Skinner would propose to Diana, asking her to be his wife to which she happily said yes. The two married and shortly after gave birth to their daughter, Luna who meant the world to Skinner. To him he had all that he could ever hope and want in life. However reality would come knocking and like in all lives, pain would inevitably come to Skinner. One day, when Skinner and his wife and daughter were out having a picnic, they would be under the shade of the largest tree in the park. However what was supposed to be a good day took a turn for the worst when a truck rammed into the tree causing it to fall towards Skinner and his family. Unable to react and move out of the way in time, Skinner's family would have met an untimely demise. Whether out of panic or something other, Skinner had stood up and held his arms out as if in some vain desperate attempt to stop the tree from crushing his wife and child. Much to his surprise and through sheer willpower, the tree had stopped in mid air, before floating off a distance away and then crashing down into the earth. A number of people bore witness to this and immediately began a state of panic, calling him a monster. Skinner however would pass out from apparent exhaustion. He would wake a while later to find pictures and videos of the incident on the news, many branding him a monster or a real human Horror. And like moths to a flame, humans came knocking at his door, but not typical law enforcement or anything of that nature; his neighbors. driven batshit crazy by the prospect of living next to an alleged monster they broke into his home, destroyed it and instilled fear into his family to drive them from their own homes. They succeeded in driving Skinner and his family into the countryside, isolated from others. For a time, all seemed settled down for them, until fate came knocking on his door once more. In the dead of the night, his home was broken into and when he went off to investigate was summarily knocked out. What ensued would be nothing but pain for him. When he awoke, he would find himself in an unfamiliar place with a newspaper, the headlines stating "Wife and Daughter of suspected Horror" found dead at the site of a burned house in the countryside". No matter how hard Skinner wanted to deny that this was not his family, upon closer inspection of the article and pictures provided, would soon convince him otherwise. His family was killed, murdered at the hands of humans (As far as he can tell, though unknowingly by those in charge of the Horror Theater to draw him in). For months he lived wallowing in tragedy and self hate for his inability to protect his family, those that he held more dear than life itself. For a long time, he simply was tossed into an arena to fight, with the full intent of dying only to be revived over and over again to try and bring forth the power that he had exhibited in the park on that one fateful day. Nothing worked and he was taken off the show. A few weeks after his removal from the show to simply rot in his room, a mask was presented to him. It was a simple mask that exhibited Comedy of the theatrical duo; Comedy and Tragedy. Looking upon this mask reminded him of two things; his daughter and his past. His daughter had a love for theater, one day hoping to be an actress herself one day, which Skinner was in full support of. The other was his way of coping with his pain, through humor. Something died in Skinner that day, his sense of pureness with the way he coped and dealt with things. But a new thing was born in its place, the burning and insatiable desire to now put a smile on everything, so that no matter what, he would see smiles to cover his tragic past. From that day forward he had the mask surgically grafted onto his face, so that it would be permanently attached to his face. The mask itself was made of an incrediblly strong metal that was impossible to break, so that it could not be broken to reveal the broken man behind it. Now, Skinner participates in the Horror Theatre with great gusto and showmanship, his power which he discovered to be a control over gravity being strengthened and used. Upon examination of Skinner's body, every time he is killed in the Theater, it is revealed that his slowly growing powers over gravity seemed to be derived from a genetic mutation that allows the cells in his body to have a certain degree of control to the gravity around him.
▌ SIGNATURE WEAPONS × 〉 An ornate 'trick' cane that is approximately half his height that he typically is seen walking with. However beneath the friendly and non-hostile exterior, the hilt of the cane is actually attached to a high tensile steel blade that is sheathed within the length of the cane. The blade is sharpened to be able to slice through flesh like a hot knife through butter and tapered to a point that can slip between the gaps in armors or other areas of weakness with ease to easily pierce through his enemy. The cane is capable of being ripped apart into dozens if not hundreds of razor sharp needles that he can use for his execution move. ▌ FIGHTING STYLE × 〉 Skinner is a highly agile and flexible fighter despite his larger size. He has the seemingly unnatural ability to defy gravity to do complex dodges and movements. He has been known to incorporate fencing techniques when using his cane sword, but is just as proficient in it as he is unarmed hand to hand combat. He has a strange fascination with flaying the flesh off of his opponent's body like slices of meat, extending pain inflicted upon the opponent and increasing the chances of them bleeding out. ▌ EXECUTIONS × 〉 "Pincushion": After inflicting an enjoyable degree of pain upon his opponent, Skinner will use his powers over gravity to tear apart his cane's blade into numerous razor sharp needles that he can move into position with gravity. Through an almost impossible level of concentration he is able to create a gravity field in a ring around each and every needle, causing it to be held in place and creating a directional gravity well on his opponent. The gravity well around the opponent will continue to increase in power and attempt to pull the needles towards the opponent, however the needles are unable to move until Skinner drops the gravity rings around every needle. At that point the sudden release in gravity holding the needles in place will vanish and the intense gravity well formed around the opponent will pull all the needles towards them, effectively making every needle have the intensity and piercing power of a railgun. Vital organs, major arteries, bone and flesh will be eviscerated and punctured in a heartbeat.
"Pop Goes the Weasel": Skinner kicks his opponent into the air and holds them a sizable distance from the ground by shifting gravity around them. With his powers of gravitational manipulation, he will manipulate his opponent's limbs, causing them to break as he makes a directional gravitational force going one direction and another going in the opposite, effectively breaking bones in half, ripping them from their sockets and pulverizing his opponent's internals into dust and mush, after an excruciating painful and bone breaking process, Skinner will force his opponent into the most compact ball of flesh and mush as he can before it explodes in a shower of blood.
▌ STRENGTHS × 〉Skinner has the ability to alter gravity in a small area around him and anything that he is in contact with, which can probably explain Skinner's inhuman ability with acrobatics and practically lift himself off the ground from a lying position with no sort of movement other than his ankles. By altering gravity, he can stop projectiles from reaching him by increasing gravity around him instantly to halt its ability to move forward while immediately switching it to zero gravity in a heartbeat to hold the projectile in place. Also because of his gravitational manipulation he is able to increase the force in which his attacks that are slash or impalement oriented as he can create a directional gravity increase in his weapon, though it does take a toll on him from constant use. ▌ WEAKNESSES × 〉 Skinner himself isn't physically strong, in fact he is a lot weaker than he should be for someone of his size, relying mostly on his powers and abilities to keep him at odds with stronger opponents. He is also not as quick as most people are, relying heavily on short and deliberated movements, much like the fencing style does. He also has to heavily rely on his own ability to fight due to the amount of concentration and willpower it takes for him to use his abilities over gravity.
▌ QUOTES × 〉 "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, my friend, and ideas are bulletproof." ▌ INSPIRATIONS × 〉 Somewhat loosely based off Yellow Radio from Accel World and V from V for Vendetta ▌ ALLIES × 〉 N/A ▌ ENEMIES × 〉 N/A ▌ CRUSH × 〉 N/A
▌ EXTRA / NOTES × 〉 No one knows what Skinner looks like behind his mask as it is impossible to remove it from his face. He also keeps a pocket watch with a picture of him (his face scratched out from the photo) alongside his wife and daughter. He has no specific recollection of who they are to him, as he has gotten a rather rare type of amnesia.

Could you add some explanation as to why he has these gravitational powers? I get that the mutation altered his physical appearance, but are the powers also derived from that?
▌ REAL NAME × 〉 Hex Noctis ▌ALIASES × 〉 Collector of Souls ▌ AGE × 〉 N/A ▌ GENDER × 〉 Male ▌ BIRTHDAY × 〉 N/A ▌ SPECIES × 〉 Nightmare ▌ SEXUAL ORIENTATION × 〉 N/A
▌ HEIGHT × 〉 6'11" ▌ WEIGHT × 〉 160 lbs ▌ HAIR COLOR × 〉 N/A ▌ EYE COLOR × 〉 Green ▌ VOICE × 〉 Hex's voice has a soothing quality to it despite it being rather intimidating. There is a ghostly buildup that precedes him speaking and an almost echo like reverb quality to it. His laughter has been described as a myriad of screams of agony behind his own voice. ▌ DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS × 〉 Hex does not have a full physical head. It is rather a skull like mask that is surrounded by burning green flames that has three dread style like chains with hooks attached at the ends.
▌ LIKES × 〉 + Torture: Hex enjoys inflicting pain upon those around him, just as much as he loves receiving it. + Chains: There is something soothing about the clanking of chains that puts Hex's twisted soul to ease. + BDSM: Not that he gains any sort of sexual arousal from the practice, he just likes chaining people up and torturing them. ▌ DISLIKES × 〉 - Ghost Condoms: F***in useless things... - Magic: Magic to Hex is like water to cats. He despises it because it's one of the few things that actually hurt him. - Chatterboxes: Hex enjoys conversation, but he simply despises anyone who just runs their mouth faster than an Olympic Kenyan runner. ▌ FEAR × 〉As a harbinger of death himself, Hex fears it more than anything despite him being a nightmare. ▌ GOAL × 〉 To capture souls and go about his ambiguous life for all eternity whilst inflicting eternal torment. ▌ BEHAVIOR × 〉 Hex is a sly individual who has shown sadistic and masochistic tendencies, explicitely. He enjoys tormenting others for his own pleasure and enjoys pain like a euphoric sensation. Hex generally likes being in the presence of other Horrors, to chat, though in the presence of humans he takes on a more predatory like behavior, stalking them and waiting to viciously rip out their fragile little souls from their bodies. ▌ BIOGRAPHY × 〉 The Horror that became known as Thresh was brought into this world through the nightmares of many. He is a Horror manifested of the fears and tormented thoughts who shortly met their demise from a natural disaster. He is materialized from the souls of the deceased and has slowly crossed the lands, reaping souls left and right to further empower himself. As Hex explored the human world that he came to existence in, he would take a fondness to a variation of the Japanese kusarigama, which he has since then adapted and improved for his own nefarious uses. And so, now armed with his weapon of choice, Hex traveled in search of tormented souls, his 'favorite' tasting one to help fuel his desire. He would inflict pain and torture his poor unsuspecting victims. Eventually his sense drew him to the Horror Theater where he was greeted with open arms into their carnival of death and despair, a perfect place for him to be to indulge on his sadistic and masochistic pleasures.
▌ SIGNATURE WEAPONS × 〉 Hex wields what is very similar to a traditional Kusarigama, though the scythe end has a much larger than average blade that also has a smaller hook on the other side of it. On the other end is what appears to be a lantern, but also functions very well as a swingable mace with the jagged edges and spikes that protrude from the connection points all around the lantern. The weapon itself is nearly weightless in Hex's hands, but in anyone else's it is like trying to lug around a prisoner's ball and chain. They are also coated in the souls of those that Hex has taken them from, making them impervious to any form of destruction or damage while Hex still lives. ▌ FIGHTING STYLE × 〉 Hex typically fights from a medium distance, whipping at his opponent with his kusarigama's scythe and lantern end to damage the opponent. Hex will hardly ever let an opponent get within close range to him intentionally, but is able to wield his scythe as a small handheld melee weapon and use the lantern to ward off attacks. His attacks are generally relatively simple, though he is able to leech off little by little of his opponent's life force every time he inflicts wounds upon his opponent. ▌ EXECUTIONS × 〉 Eternal Torment - After having toyed with his opponent for a decent length of time and ready to claim their soul, he 'sweetens' the taste of their soul by casting an eternal torment of agony and despair. Hex raises his lantern from which a thick green fog emerges. This fog functions partially as a toxin and heavy hallucinogenic, unlocking the opponent's deepest, darkest fears and forcing them to live in it. The target is thrown into a state of chaos and eternal torment as soon as the fog hits. The toxin component of the fog accelerates the brain's functions exclusively while forcing the rest of the body's motor functions to slow down to a near absolute stop. This forces the target to feel as if hundreds if not thousands of years have passed as they suffer, however in reality, only a mere second or few would have passed. After half a minute or so, or until the target's mind hasn't gone to complete mush yet, Hex will execute his opponent by slashing his kusarigama at his opponent's neck to decapitate them. The pain is amplified across a century for the target up until their head is severed from the spine in which case they die. Once decapitation is complete, Hex will force the opponent's soul out of their body and into his lantern.
Seeking Chains - Hex is able to open up small pocket portals to a hellish realm through which he is able to throw his chain sickle through. From these small portals emerge dozens to hundreds of soul empowered chains, the number varying with the opponent's size and/or strength. These chains are barbed and wrap themselves around the opponent's limbs before rooting them in place to where they stand, denying them any sort of movement as they are helpless to resist. These chains slowly wrap around their opponent, cutting into their flesh as they slowly sap out the soul of the target, draining their life energy and will to fight. After the opponent is turned into a near lifeless husk, a simple tug of Hex's own chain will cause all the chains around the opponent to the point where they snap through bone and effectively dismember every limb into small pieces. Whatever remains of his opponent's soul will be sucked into a large portal that forms beneath where the opponent died that will also suck up the remains of bloody body parts.
▌ STRENGTHS × 〉Hex is an exceptionally strong fighter, the force of his blows increasing with the momentum of his kusarigama. In addition to his exceptional strength, Hex is able to leech his opponent's life force with each solid hit on his opponent, making him stronger, and his opponent weaker the longer a match drags on. Hex is also able to materialize the souls trapped in his lantern to form a protective barrier around him, deflecting an attack and countering to surprise his opponent, though this ability does take a little while between uses. ▌ WEAKNESSES × 〉 As Hex is born of a nightmare, his attacks that don't involve his kusarigama are significantly weaker, such as punches, kicks and things of unarmed combat nature. Hex is also significantly weaker in close range combat compared to his medium range combat. Hex also has a particular weakness to pure magic based attacks which harm him significantly more than physical attacks.
▌ INSPIRATIONS × 〉Thresh/Nocturne from League of Legends with some origin basing off of Freddy Kreuger ▌ ALLIES × 〉 N/A ▌ ENEMIES × 〉 N/A ▌ CRUSH × 〉 N/A
▌ EXTRA / NOTES × 〉 He likes his suit which he wears outside of his matches. Don't f*** it up if you still value your sanity. He is also able to materialize his head into a human form, typically seen outside of battle and when Hex feels like it.
