Those who step in her way tend to irritate her the most, but Aya keeps herself in check with positive speech as well as other spiritual, physiological, biological, and chemical means. Violence is not her ideal path, but she prefers using it when time is a factor and/or when patience is low.
To most she may seems very straight forward and mean, but at times she can be coi, cutsie, (in a good way) and lovable as well. As a baby she was pampered and well loved by her parents, however they never got to spend time with her like they did with her other siblings. Aya was the last of 7 children and her parents had lost one a year before having her. At that time, her mother was to believe that she could not conceive. However, she became pregnant twice despite the odds, losing one child yet gaining one more. Aya liked to believe this is why her mother held onto her despite their relationship not being so great now. Her family only had stories of when she was two years of age and they all filled her with an indescribeable warmth. [/color]
[color=red]3-5[/color] [color=tan]Getting older her parents began to thinking of whether they were truly going to send her to the academy and if they did would they continue sending her into the public system to b educated in the ninja arts. They marvelled at the idea of keeping their precious gem near, but felt maybe they would be too easy on her. Her father would have to do most of the teaching, but Aya being a daddy's girl made it challenging for him to grasp the idea of training her. Between these ages, she was truly a sweet adorable little girl enjoying time outside in the yard and in parks.[/color]
[color=red]6-8[/color] [color=tan]By this time, Aya had been home schooled and trained for atleast one year in the ninja arts. Her parents swallowed their pride and began to train and educate Aya on the fundamentals. It was easy getting her started for she was a highly energetic child, something her mother would use to compare Aya to her siblings. She would claim, that Aya was a very fun baby to have and that she was lively, where as her brothers and sisters would sleep most of the times. Thus she was named, "Wide Eye" by her mother. The name would often make Aya laugh, she liked the name, but it never stuck and was used in the context of a pet name. Something she would drop when entering the academy and becoming a genin. As an academy student, she was not as prepared as her parents had thought she would be. Aya was very focused on creating relationships with other students than she was about being a ninja. Her parents felt she was not taking class serious and threatened her to do better. Unfortunately, Aya never adapted to the school system and found herself training both at school and at home. Her parents becoming much more strict, their gentle training had become aggressive and abusive.[/color]
[color=red]9-12[/color] [color=tan]The training was starting to pay off as Aya had become a very practical ninja, however her written test scores were still suffering. Her parents continued to push her and the punishments had gotten more severe as she aged. She would show up to class with marks and most would know what went on at home, but they never said anything. Most of the students parents were well aware as well and they were just simply extra sweet to Aya.[/color]
[color=red]13-17[/color] [color=tan]By this time Aya had gotten through being a genin and a chuunin and was teaching at the academy while hosting genin and chuunin exams. She also worked part time at the library where she gained a great amount of her knowledge. In those times, things were not as restrictive and she had access to some powerful techniques. One could say it was how she advanced to Jonin so fast and became an Anbu. Becoming an Anbu she met another Shinobi named Kazuki, who she had developed a relationship with. Kazuki would play a major role in Aya's life, he was older and had a significant amount of influence on Aya and her decisions. Kazuki was placed in a team with Aya and would frequently take short cuts or bend rules leaving Aya to cover for him. Although he was aware of her being uneasy, he never stopped and was suspended.[/color]
[color=red]18-22[/color] [color=tan]Around this age, Aya had established herself as an assassin with no emotions, a monster even. Not too long after Kazuki was back into her life and they would pick where they left off. Aya wanted a child and Kazuki felt they were to young and have not even enjoyed the fruits of their labor, however Aya found life quite simple. She wanted a child to brighten her day, so Kazuki agreed they would adopt a child one day. [/color]
[color=red]23-24[/color] [color=tan]By now Aya has lead plenty of Anbu missions and is well known among the village. Her assassin image is still well acknowledged, but her kind heart is much more apparent to everyone. She is often taking care of the elderly and the academy students still running genin and chuunin exams. She no longer worked at the library but was allowed access to the same material she had when she worked there. She read a lot, but not as much as she used to when it was her job. She aided in programs that aimed to educate young children where she read for students or performed. Her caring and gentle display for others was her yearning to be a mother.
Aya and Kazuki had been visiting a child for quite a while at the orphanage and considering adopting him. Kigo, a five year old boy with the Shukaku sealed within him. They found it very risky, but no one could possibly love that child more than Aya was Kazuki's phrase to ease Aya during times of Crisis. When Kigo was around this age, he would have violent moments before Kazuki and Aya would have to break him from his episodes. Despite it all, Aya grew to love Kigo as her own and wouldn't have traded him for anything. The times she spent raising her little bear and prioritizing his needs even when she were gone for months on missions that she may never return from. Kigo had two parents who made sure he had a nice house, food, and nearly anything he needed at a fairly young age even if they weren't his birth parents. [/color]
[color=red]25-31[/color] [color=tan]Aya was still an Anbu going on missions that even Kazuki was not aligned for. He was a pretty tough ninja, but Aya was of her own class. She did not leave a mission inconclusive, she would always imagine her children's lives riding on her missions. Usuaully, that was very much the case, which is why she loved her job so much and had so much enthusiasm to do what she did. Sadly, Aya felt there would be a day where she would not make it back or that the world would tire her to her death. [/color]
[color=red]32-36[/color] [color=tan]With Kigo to take care of, things got a bit tight around the house. Kazuki was a great father when he was around and Aya's decisions were starting to pressure her. Aya had found so many leads and was trying to find her way through the tought imes by picking up challenging missions. When her children are tucked in, Aya is out looking for an answer to what this corruption thing really is.
After long searches, Aya finds herself deeply involved in a group that promises to not only cure her, but grant her immense power if she followed their orders without flaw. Betraying the group she goes to Kazuki looking for his help in Kirigakure after their separation. The work she had picked up was clearly black market/criminal work something like what Kazuki would do. In the midst of alerting Kazuki, he is killed by Hersek Aya's domineering partner and Maguro the vessel chosen by the Goddess. She was punished but spared to continue living; Aya was now the one that had to make sure she would come back home to her family for they relied on her now.[/color][/i][/spoiler]

Dominant Jutsu Types Heavily centered around ninjutsu and taijutsu.
Intelligence very high, extreme. She might come up with a new variation on a jutsu in the middle of a fight. Or rather she may have to. Has no problem keeping up with genius types. She's been known to decipher the tricks behind not only techniques but locked room murders and other complicated things as well. She is particularly good at puzzles, reading situations, seeing through illusions, and memorizing structures.. basically anything relating to her past work.
Fighting Tendencies She tends to be very short range. Even midrange abilities tend to be projectiles or formations originating from her position. Longer range techniques won't be terribly hard to predict though evasion may still require some non-basic level of skill. She has a amount of weapon and ninjutsu experience but while her taijutsu is strong, she herself must exert herself to get the needed power output for stronger opponents. Basic Crystal release - makes stuff with crystal. Balanced technique requirements and output Jade Crystal release - Makes fast forming crystals, higher shape variety but also tends to be easier to both reform AND break. Pentagonal Crystal - sturdy crystal requiring more chakra use generally fragile crystal formation - Formed with extreme speed and very brittle but very much capable of harming someone. Kindof like sharp chunks of glass. This type is expected to penetrate, maim, or entrap a body but could potentially be broken with brute superhuman strength. Unlike the other three this one likely wouldn't be able to crystalize the flesh of anyone actively using any amount of chakra whereas the others require that you be using a significant amount to the point it could be a named but not necessarily high ranked shinobi technique to avoid this.

They will be color coded based off the type of crystal they are typically made of but its possible to make them with any of the three methods. (custom) Crystal Release: Illusory Veil - B rank - using a smaller version of string of fate the user can create a smaller scale version of Jade Crystal Labyrinth's shoton illusions. The crystals will remain immobile as will the source of the ninjutsu and can be used to create powerful illusions in a given space. It will be impossible to detect through sight, even with the byakugan or sharingan and there is no scent or sound that it makes on its own but if, as a ninja, you can find the sources without sight or smell then its possible to interfere with the illusion just by cutting off any light able to access the floating crystals semi-nearby with a cloth or something. It still works in low level's of light but not in pitch blackness.
(custom) Light recording - C-rank - a semi-advanced imitation technique. Derives form the crystal mirror, the user can record patterns of light to create clones of herself or others. These clones can remain inside the mirror or step out to become crystal clones. These clones can actually use any techniques the user knows and copy their kekkei genkai as long as it derives from their physical form. However the clones are still made using the users chakra. If person A makes a clone of person B then its a clone of person B but with person A's chakra and made of crystal. The clone can use your byakusharitokidokigan but will probably just hurt itselfusing a portion of the wrong chakra for a technique its controller has never tried before.
Medical Ninjutsu
Tenketsu point manipulation - B rank (varied rankings, B rank was chosen based off level of specialization) - She can manually manipulate her own tenketsu points. She can do the same with others but has no tool to find theirs or see the actual flow of chakra in their current state unlike those of the hyuga clan. She also only specializes in her own body and emergency procedures and some therapeutic uses for others. She can do this with needles as well but this is far more invasive and will leave scars. Her technique is not adapted for general straightforward combat.
Gates Opening imitation technique - A-rank 8 gates variation. She is able to open chakra gates without opening the previous steps but with an alternate but related effect. She must do this manually using Tenketsu point manipulation. The following are the alternate but related effects gained. In order to get the normal effects one must open ALL previous gates otherwise each will have its alternate application. Each gate opened intensifies the effect of the later gates already opened. If you have gate 7 open and try to open gate 1 you will kill yourself for example.
1. Gate of Opening - Acts normally. 2. Gate of Healing - Drains the user's energy to heal them 3. Gate of Life - Increase's blood pressure and begins to send the user into light shock... if done properly one could perhaps pretend to be sick 4. Gate of Pain - causes extreme pain and shock to the mind sending the user into an alternate state of mind similar to a monk that uses painful exercises to increase focus. The body will be damaged but the brain will be extremely sharp during this technique if used by a well disciplined person 5. Gate of Limit - Increases chakra flow but decreases control. Can be used to unseal something on oneself but otherwise mostly just negative 6. Gate of view - similar to the normal effects but causes extreme strain on the user during use. Expect anything from extreme exhaustion to death after using this. You will need to see a doctor after using this. 7. Gate of Wonder - Causes some loss of muscle control and extreme blood pressure fluctualtions. You won't survive this while being particularly active. This has a possible application in surviving for extreme periods in places where one might not expect a human to be able to survive without air food or water. You will need medical attention after using this though you might die anyways if you attempt to remain active with this gate open. This places you in critical condition and any movement before you can close it will only cause you more harm. 8. Gate of Death - kills user. This is just suicide without training and the other gates. You wont get any of the benefits
(custom) Mystery Palm Techique B-rank. It'll heal you but you a bit faster than the Mystical Palm but its effects are temporary and have funny side effects. Just enough to get you to a doctor or back into the fight to go die for something important. Works just fine on smaller injuries though. May get the target kindof high and unable to feel much pain.
Not very delicate illness extraction technique - (D-rank) similar concept to the full version but she might break something. If you want to get sick near a doctor. If you want to survive then grit your teeth and hope this works. This version is good enough to get poison out of the body.
Taijutsu
She uses a martial-arts system called thousand-years river stone. As the name implies it is designed to be like a rock in flowing water. She is someone who studies the energy absorption properties of crystals and bodies. This martial art is about manipulating energy through solid objects. This art uses disciplines from medical ninjutsu and shinobi military arts. Its intent is not to win fights but to remain where you need to be or move to where you need to be while under pressure or attack. It is designed for focusing on destroying weak points and disabling stronger ones with decisive blows rather than simply overpowering. It is very well adapted for grappling and killing with over 1000 techniques for extreme short range combat. It would take considerable taijutsu skill to subdue her in allout extreme close range combat for extended periods without getting killed. The technique seeks to draw and keep a specific target in close and kill them even if they have help. However if you can keep a reasonable distance it will still be somewhat effective but she is a lot less likely to harm through pain or severe injury. It should be easily apparent what kindof technique it is fairly early in a fight.
(custom) Shifting current: motion - C rank - she can disperse a force using her hands or limbs and redirect whatever is left of it as long as it has a solid medium and a relatively small point of impact and area of exertion like with the cherry blossom impact for example. She could stop a train or boulder with this in theory but that's bigger than a fist or human so it would take a lot more chakra
(custom) Shifting current: stillness - B rank - using a larger amount of chakra she can perfectly redistribute energy passed win herself to negate large forces and bursts of chakra intended for some technique. She could stop a blade using this technique but there is a moment where movement is difficult afterwards. She could example just use an arm or hand to do this but depending on what she would have needed to block anyways she'd lose a lot of chakra and end up being unable ot mold chakra in that region for a moment. If done against a normal punch she'd just lose chakra and her hand might be a bit numb. If done to stop a boulder she will have full body restricted movement even in her neck and eyelids. All of it. the ground she stands on would also absorb part of the force and might respond strangely to any attempt to cast a jutsu on it as well as the air around her. This could be used to stop a rasengan but a rasengan has sustained output so it would have to be a smaller one. The force of impact still happens to some much smaller degree but will instead effect the whole body and likely fail to move her from her current position or change her form like if say a boulder would hit her. Obviously it has its limits, she's not going to stop a train.
(custom) 1000 paths to river's mouth - B rank - This technique is a system of extreme shortrange counters, grapples, and strikes for killing any realistic opponent at short range. However like in chess its not meant to end immediately unless the other person does something to make that possible. A strong enough fighter will be able to use whatever advantages to keep a reasonable distance, her arms aren't that long for example, and fight her on more even ground. There are perhaps some taijutsu masters that can simply fight her how they fight her and not worry about this if they have a technique to deal with it.
River god's grip - rank C - chakra enhanced gripping technique that crushes the hell out of things within reason. A killer grip and trained fingers basically. This is actually a variation on the concepts used in the cherry blossom impact and shifting current techniques. She can potentially break a sword with this technique if she can get her fingers properly positioned on the blade or crush a neck or wrist with just her hand though this is also a technical technique. Breaking something like a sword would require proper positioning and hand formation relative to the size and thickness of the weapon. wont work on a fairly large and heavy weapon and you she may have to reposition her hand first. Proper (real world) weapon technique, much like shinobi technique in general, is usually designed to prevent such a thing from being caught and destroyed by something. Hands in particular. The potential is there though.
Kyōmeisen: Shin Megami Tensei - high level sealing technique performed using a sealing tool that employs sound. Must be something capable of amplifying sound or and creating powerful sounds if the user themselves are not sound specialist ninjas (locked)
Weapon Techniques
Kyōmeisen: White noise technique - c rank - negates a sound or many sounds at different frequencies. But also makes a sound when doing so. It can be used to create complete silence in a particular area or keep sound from escaping a small area but this is for simple things like human speech. If for example the user cannot just predict what the next sound or sounds will be there will be a light buzzy sound or whistle heard though the sound will be negated or contained and thus communication will be facilitated or inhibited. It an also just block all sounds but its own by creating a wide but limited range of frequencies, this particular device is not designed for just any frequency however. Strong animals summons with good ears can detect this no matter how good you are at hiding it. Kyōmeisen: Resonating echo drill - C rank - can break some objects using sound or disrupt a target's sense of balance. This has a variety of uses but the effect changes according to the design of the amplifier, this one in particular is fit primarily for disabling targets ability to balance themselves from range and breaking certain jutsus. It can deal damage at close range or further if you can use wind elemental techniques which its original design was meant to be used with. Kyōmeisen: chain resonation echo drill - A rank - Using an amplifier designed specifically for this she can use a crystal as the source of a sound. A bigger bigger and more sturdy crystal will last a bit longer but for the most part this technique will damage the target until it no longer works properly from that target. It has to be something the user shaped themselves or has a good idea about the structure of it unless they can just see it right in front of them. This mostly has application in very subtle illusion techniques or tracking techniques. It is possible to make sound illusions with this technique. The illusion will be based off the shape of the crystal being used. It can also be used without an external crystal but the weapon must be adjusted for making illusions to do this then fixed for general use later using crystal release techniques.

spectral butterflies - C rank - contract spirits capable of releasing the souls of the dead from corpses to create more butterflies or becoming seals to keep something trapped inside something or out of something. They seal doors, make illusions, distract. Etcetc. They speak as a collective and can read each other's minds. They tend to have some manner of wind nature but don't use any grandiose wind techniques, they can assist in low energy function or high control techniques. Looking directly at them has a mesmerizing effect that gives the victim a strong sense that their attention is being pulled away. A focused mind can easily resist this even if you are a genin but if you're drunk or something or caught in some genjutsu or illusion this may make things worse for you. They possess the ability to actively mess with one's targeting for high precision, sentient, or homing techniques techniques or could help spy on someone but for the most part how useful they are will depend on their application. They have only one level of summon and can be touched through physical or nonphysical means though they will act kindof like clones with hit. Nonphysical attacks work best against them. The more of them that are damaged the weaker they entirety of them become but they can also regenerate over significant periods of time. They have glowy wings and while they aren't going to be killed by poison or anything they prefer clean mountain air and like most summons will get irritated and disappear under the right conditions. They prefer clean mountain air and something like a smoke bomb would bother them and keep them out of an area potentially unless they were there with specific intent like sealing something away or reacting to a specific jutsu being actively used by the summoner. Their chakra types are wind and they can use mini-versions of wind techniques as well as a few yin-yang techniques. Individually they do very little to anything physically and moderate amounts together but together with a summoner they can do combination attacks, tactics and such.
Kekkei Genkai
Crystal release - Her chakra manifests itself in such a way that she can make crystals from nearly any material substance. They tend to be very strong and breaking them requires a continuous strong force over a relatively large area or an appropriate nonphysical force with properties that should break through things or something like that. A particularly large crystal could be broken by attacking many nearby weak points simultaneously with strong precision techniques without the need for particularly long lasting force. Its also possible to prevent the formation of crystals with chakra based techniques or anything that can prevent the formation of stable crystalline structures
Note that against a crystal wall 1000lbs of force directed at a singular point will not be as effective as 750lbs of force over a larger less precise area or 500lbs of force directed at very specific and somehow very intelligently selected areas
Thought to be created with a mix of earth, water, and wind natures. Fire will make it crack and go brittle, lightning will pierce it though if you use a chidori for example you may find your hand going through but your body cant follow since it isn't where the correct chakra nature is being focused.
She can only use crystal release, or yin/yang release techniques but has a high affinity for them.

History A Tokubetsu Jonin of Iwagakure retired and left his remaining work to his pupil. She operated in the land of fire as a specialist as part of an effort to improve relations after all the warring and betrayals. Her primary task was assisting local monasteries with troubling tasks and threats involving international affairs. She also acted as a sort of mediator as a result for certain 'spy games' if you will between land of fire natives and well meaning shinobi infiltrators or "her fellow visitors" while avoiding their exposure. The end result was that great nations kept each other in check peacefully while looking out for one another's interests at the same time.
During this time she would also offer services to the local employers who sought to bypass some regulation or whatnot by hiring outside help instead of Konoha ninja. She would be taxed by Konoha for anything she gained on their turf of course but most importantly she was to report in most of what she did to both her own nation and Konoha as well as any relevant findings she received. Thus far she hadn't found much more than malicious plots and such, normal stuff one might sign up to deal with for some cash. She also helped reseal some spirit infested facilities
Born in Iwagakure to Iwagakure parents she was trained and raised to be a ninja by her clan, a small clan but long allies to many of the other clans of the Stone. As a youth she would be trained for assassination missions as well as service as female cleric but her unusual chakra nature became something of an obstacle. Nevertheless she would enter into many such roles and learn to traverse the underbelly of many of the land's secretive organizations.. well secretive by civilian standards. It started off mostly as infiltration and intrigue but overtime as violence, treachery, and dissention rose more and more individuals needed to disappear and more and more people would need guards and assistants and miracles and may other nicer things, far nicer than the unfortunate ones that passed needlessly due to the world's state at the time but allowing escalation wasn't an option even if innocents had to die. As she grew and developed her taijutsu.. as she put her taijutsu to constant use rather.. her ninjutsu became easier to employ as though something about her physical and mental state improved her affinity with it.
Upon realizing that a rare nature could be put to use the Tsuchikage at the time sent her to receive formal retraining under both clerical specialists and jonin in order to try and harness this skill, particularly its properties in relation to spirits due to having similar properties to the wood release in this respect. She would learn much but unfortunately she would have to grow more and develop her own techniques for this since it wasn't something one could just find in some scroll anywhere.
Overtime she would become a Tokubetsu Jōnin who often traveled and did work for the village as a networker, handler, and someone who could dispose of things or clean up jobs many others couldn't. She would also be a go between for many missions involving multiple villages. It was somewhat late in her life that she began to develop skills based off what she knew already because she now had the prerequisites as well as the experience. She'd been content with this type of work but soon many new missions would be thrust upon her and consume her schedule as the corruption would again years later.
While investigating the ruins of konoha a message reached her informing her that she'd been selected to become the next Tsuchikage... This wasn't really something she'd looked forward to but if the former Tsuchikage thought she was the best choice then she had to give it a try. She did already have some insight on the corruption afterall but it was going to take a lot more than insight to deal with this. Her first aim would be to reunite humanity... on the surface at least. The corruption however terrifying would never be as frightening as humans to one who'd taken on the role of a cleric for so many years.

Basics she keeps a curved shortblade handy
Special Objects Keeps a few weapon scrolls onhand. Just has shurikens and other projectile types. Basic stuff in case she can't just make them with crystal
Kyōmeisen - rank A - sound amplifying ninja tool modified to use oscillating crystals. It's design is based off a tool to stop the edo tensai technique but can be used by shinobi to imitate some of what powerful monks can do. Unlike the original this custom one is a more delicate instrument and must be recalibrated each time it is damaged. It can be repaired on the spot unlike the original if it received damage that can be fixed with force or something but it must be recalibrated for use. This particular one will use an animal spirit in addition to its customizations.
Gear she wears some padding and armor, nothing too heavy. Very little movement restriction but not designed for those who like to run around flying about kicking trees down with their whirlwind kick of death.
Miscellaneous will occasionally have jewelry, prayer beads, or a vajra (used for sealing spirits in clerical rituals but is mostly for disguise in this case) on hand
