History
Kaguya, Benjiro was born in the Land of Waves to his biological father Maga and his biological mother Kiku three months before the corruption came to his small village on the far outskirts of Kirigakure. The village panicked and everyone attempted to evacuate in a panic, causing chaos that ended up with his parents becoming trapped in a crowd when the corruption finally reached the village. Many lives were lost, including his parents, who were unable to return to their house and collect their infant child. A man named Toshiro Goyukou was passing the house when he heard a crying Benjiro from behind the door. Toshiro had seen Benjiro's parents fall to the Corruption and made a decision that day. He broke into the house and scooped up the infant, escaping through a back alley and over a wall, circumventing the crowded village's exit gate and ensuring the survival of himself and the child. Toshiro saw the devastation from afar and decided that any shinobi village incapable of offering a disaster response and protect the members of their land was not somewhere that was safe to raise a child. He fled the Land of Waves and traveled to the Wind Country, where he made himself and Benjiro members of the Sand Village, a place where he had not seen nor heard of the Corruption wreaking havoc. When Benjiro was the proper age, he was enrolled in the academy. It was here that Benjiro discovered his ability to manipulate his bones. He'd gone a little too far during a combat training lesson and as he'd thrown a punch, spikes had extended from his knuckles, penetrating the cheek of his classmate. Benjiro had apologized profusely all while being shocked at this development, but now that he was different, he would endure ridicule and ostracizing that continued until he graduated from the academy. Benjiro vowed to be the fastest and the strongest of all of Sunagakure and be seen as the greatest Taijutsu user the village had ever known.
