History
Mashiro was born outside of Iwagakure and was raised by an elder couple.
They never knew where his parent's were and they didn't leave anything behind so they can look. Mashiro only knew of the elder couple as his parents and loved them since he didn't know his. He entered the academy at 7 and when a female classmate asked him to watch the full moon with him, he accepted with a smile. He had a crush on her and he knew that she might of liked him. When they were staring at the moon, Mashiro felt something come over him and blacked out. The next morning, he woke up naked in special holding cell underground. Apparently a giant Ape like creature appeared and destroyed parts of the village. He was told that when the monster disappeared, he was where it disappeared.
He didn't believe them until he was told that a young academy kunoichi was crushed by the rampaging beast and he was being held responsible. He was told that he was going to be the special weapon for Iwagakure when they needed to destroy one of the other nations if they get out of control.
For years, he was training to master controlling the Oozaru inside of him, but couldn't get a hang of it. Whenever it was a full moon, they put him on an isolated island, so he wouldn't cause any damage. He had training from specialized shinobi who was told to hold the secret about him and once the commotion calmed down about the beast, Mashiro was able to roam the streets like normal.
