Kyoki was born raised in the outskirts of Sunagakure by his mother who was of the Utari race. He didn't know much of his father other than he was a strong ninja who passed on the Chiyura bloodline to him. He was a half breed to begin with in all senses of the word. His mother being from the sand village and most Chiyura reign from the leaf, even his blood was mixed. It wasn't until he reached elementary that things started to be picked up as strange behaviorally. His kekkei genkai had begun to kick in, the ability to see the soul's of those around him. Kyoki could feel who people truly were and the world slowly began to unravel itself quickly before his eyes. Though none of it processed emotionally, he remained unphased by the information and merely adopted it into his daily life without skipping a beat. He was competitive when it came to intellectual games and was often average for awhile at physical sports. It wasn't until he entered the academy that things took a turn for the worst. Kyoki had amazing potential from his father's bloodline but the Utari in him held him back. He was unable to perform any sort of elemental jutsu whatsoever. His chakra was also purple in color instead of blue like everyone else. Using this chakra made his mind take in more information but it also made it tick to a slightly different beat. Since then he has been different and taken to learning everything around him as fast as possible. Kyoki learned puppetry from an old widow as well as how to make basic poisons or medicines. He learned basic weapon training and added his own flare to it, making traps and tricks. His drawbacks would only aid him in becoming stronger, his mind pulsing with more and more issues as he grew older in solitude. Kyoki had trouble dealing with others, when assigned to a squad he was strong but often did things for his own benefit. The chuunin exams showcased how merciless and blood thirsty in combat he could be if he needed to. This event opened his eyes to how unique people were and how many things there were still to learn. When an individual struck his fancy he would in turn badger them or stalk them which often ended in violence in order to observe more of the technique he wanted. This insane way of thinking worked more often then not for those who refused died, or those trying to stop him were killed. Kyoki has no concept of friendship or comrade, only enemy and teacher, both of which are tools to a greedy goal. It wasn't until he was fourteen until he started to marvel at the wonders that were capable of the human body. Medical ninjutsu and the knowledge in general could be applied to so many things. The experiments started with his own body, toying with the blood and the skin. Slowly it became more gruesome. One unfortunate individual had caught his attention so greatly and was harvested to turn into the ultimate tool, a puppet. The man had been an acquaintance of his mother a long time ago who had knowledge in many fields. His hunger to learn came from this individual and would now be a stepping stone again to further that cause. Kyoki grew into a powerful jonin and wishes to travel to other lands to learn more from other places. The first thing he wishes to know more about is the leaf village where others with the same blood seem to reside. He was offered a position as an Anbu once but denied it, he did not wish to be a pawn. Ever since he has worn a Venetian mask to mock those who have taken the position, thus gaining his "Jester" title. Now he sits as the Jonin Commander of the sand village.

Kyoki aided in the retreat of Sunagakure from Unity, now residing in Hallowed Wind. His mind could hardly contain the influx of the new scenery, literally everything was different and teeming with corruption. He had only just wandered around for a few before heading into the Temple of Order and Chaos. This is where things got interesting. Here, the boy would meet the Goddess, a mystical being in his eyes that he had only heard stories of. She gave him a mission to go to the Land of the Moon and retrieve Maguro Uzumaki. Simple enough, he had completed many missions just like it and in turn he was to receive power from the Goddess. Taking the mission he traveled there immediately and almost instantly stood out. A small group of bandits advised Kyoki to leave but in the end it turned into a blood bath. Even the harbor he had ported in was destroyed in the tussle. That is when he met Takuma Masamune. They fought a long battle and in the end Kyoki was defeated and knocked unconscious by the towering man. From there, Chaigidel interrogated the boy in a separate dimension and went through his memories. After his Code: Awareness technique ended, Kyoki was thrown into a prison in the Land of the Moon. He didn't take this development well and immediately tried to escape, but in his poor physical state Takuma was able to convince him otherwise. Alone in his cell the boy practiced the way of the sword, learning the Iaido style kenjutsu from memory of past battles. A strange girl appeared and killed the guards and freed him from his cell, she was sent by Takuma. With their help Kyoki was able to escape the Land of Moon and return to Hallowed Wind, preparing a plan to stop the coming invasion.

Description: A puppet created from the body of an unfortunate victim who happened to peak Kyoki's interest.
Basic Weapons: The calves are equipped with stationary blades. Juri wields two short swords which are stored in sheaths on the back.
Gadgets: The spine of the puppet can emerge from the back and has been replaced with a series of spinning blades, replicating a chainsaw. The mouth is normally closed but when the bandages are removed it constantly sprays a cloud of poison. There are holes located in the hands, knees and each eye on the body that can fire out senbon, wire, or smoke bombs. Each of those are activated and prepared all at once or singularly.
