Yeah I think these are the two most important and how you know how everything Harry and Brandon works for just fall to pieces. Still it sucks that Harry would shoot his so called best friend out of a 21 story building like that. Talk about hardcore.
Well to back it up how he took the whole rejection form being the next boss. He was basiclly like a snake in a playpen at that meeting. Anyone else notice that?
Oh well I would give my whole run down but I want to hear you guys talk about it.
I just like they end up fitting nicley with Episodes 25-26.

Yeah, it's all been said many times and many ways. Harry's an a**. That's basically what people think when he went to far and it's the truth. But then at the end, you don't feel so mad at him because you see that Brandon forgave him.

Don't necessarily label Harry as an "a**". Think, the man who had stood by his side at every cross and turn, i.e. Brandon; decides that he's going to choose Big Daddy's life and ambition, over his own friend's. To Harry, that was betrayal to him and he couldn't take. So lo 'n behold, he kills his friend. But take note, I can't remember if it was in that episode or the next, but Harry goes into that diner and shoots the manager because the kid outside was crying because of him. And in that startling moment where the kid mourns his manager, despite his beatings, Harry screams and cries out in remorse because of what he did to Brandon, because he felt betrayed. He's not an a**, just going by his own vendictions.

So Harry felt bad about what he did when he was in the diner but then, how do you explain later on when Brandon comes back as Grave and Harry tries to get rid of him again. Not to mention, Harry sent out people to kill Maria and Mika so he could destroy Big Daddy's legacy.

I noticed when he killed Big Daddy he really wanted to have Brandon at his side even though he knew that Brandon wasn't going to go with the flow. So he did his best to keep him in the dark. Or so he thought. I think the biggest factor was just pure envy. The way things were going could Brandon in fact had been the boss? Even though Brandon probably would have given Harry the spot Harry could have taken him out for that. Brandon was just too close to the boss. Though at the time he only did it for Maria's sake.

I have no doubt in my mind that Brandon would have eventually become the boss. If Harry didn't do all this crap, Big Daddy would have passed Millennion down, to the guy he passed it down to in the anime, and that guy would have been boss for a while but eventually, I think Brandon would have gotten the spot fairly. I still kinda think that Brandon is too soft-hearted for the position but he did tell Big Daddy that if Harry betrayed the family, he would take Harry down himself.

Those episodes pissed me off so much. No, not because they killed off Brandon, but mainly at Harry and the selfish guy he was at that time. I almost stopped watching the anime after those episodes just because it got so depressing for me. No I wasn't depressed Brandon died, but because of all the dark themes that emerged in the anime to that point. The corruption, the betrayls, the changes, etc. It was the first appearance of Grave since the first episode that kept me going. And after that, I happily continued to watch the anime to the final episode. smile This anime never ceased to mess with my emtions -- a good sign of an amazing anime in my book.

Brandon was the best example on how one can be slient but deadly. He took down and killed the best of the best. Remember when he just shot Bear's friend right in front of Bear like nothing. Then how he just broke poor Maria's heart and his own. I wouldn't call Brandon too soft but if we compare him next to Harry well then yeah. Hell most people can be seem soft compare to Harry.

The reason Brandon shot Bear's friend was because he had no emotional connections to him. When Bear was gonna shoot him, the guy was sitting still because he knew he was gonna be executed by his best friend but then there would also be a chance that he wouldn't have shot him due to emotional attachments. And when Brandon came to shoot him, he was shaking and crying, then he died. So Brandon was able to do that because he had no attachments to that man. And with him breaking Maria's heart, he had to do it for her sake. Even though it was hard to do, it was his soft side showing. but yeah, compared to Harry, Brandon is really soft.

I also like the part in which Bear was kind of put off by Brandon doing that as well. Harry just lost himself. I think that was the biggest problem he had.
