Ultima I think was another race's totema. But still. I mean, the battle system I can handle. Getting rid of a bunch of staples that have defined Final Fantasy games isn't something I'll support. Story is only so much. And the lack of defined classes bother me too. Any character can use any weapon. confused You might as well take away moogles and chocobos.

Looks like most of the staples reappear as airships and fortresses and stuff. O.o

I know Bahamut is mentioned in the game, but as a fortress, not a summon
Chaos is also the final boss to the first game

Yeah, a lot of airship summons 3nodding I got a Playstation Mag today with a lot of XII info (As well as XIII) and I saw a lot of pics of the different ships and stuff. Some of them included.
Carbuncle
Alexander
Atmos
Ifrit
(Some others that I forgot)
In conjunction with that Leviathan, Shiva, and Bahamut also make reappearances as fortresses and ships 3nodding
