We play this game in my creative writing class all the time. Here's how it works: one person names a topic and says either "dialogue" or "none." If they say dialogue, then the next person who is telling the story using ONLY dialogue. (no, he said, she said, stuff. there shouldn't be anything outside of the quotation marks.) If the person says none, the scene must be made without any dialogue (which also means no, "he was talking about wanting to do this." etc.)
What is the point? This game helps stretch your ability as a writer to be able to tell a story using only dialogue or no dialogue.
Also, the scenes must include no fewer than two main character and no more than five main characters.
I will start. Here's the scene:
Two guys at a salad bar get in a fight. (Remember not to make your scenes too specific because we want people to be able to use their imaginations.) Only dialogue.
