I dislike my parents because they royally ******** me over.
..but.. they feed me so.. meh.
Their rules are all pretty much things that deal with common sense.
So, no special parenting points for them.

Parents make rules because you probably can't figure out you're not supposed to do something on your own. As Maverick said, it's all common sense. They care about you, and impose rules to protect you. You may not see it now, but you'll thank them for it later. I know I do.

Frankly, I hate my mom.
She's a manipulative b***h who makes things up in order to make people do what she wants.
She has absolutely no consideration for other people in our house, it's ridiculous.
She's the worst mother ever and then tries to make up for it by giving us money (then she bitches at my dad for 'using all of her paychecks').
Oh yeah.
Then there was the time she called my great-aunt over to hold me down on the ground and keep me hostage inside my own house.
Yes.
I love my family SO ******** MUCH.

I don't mind my parents. Sometimes we don't get along, but they feed me & pay for all my s**t, so it's all good. =D

If the govt. would let us work, we would be more able-bodied than the adults working in their 60s. We may not have the 'maturity' to deal with corporate jobs, but we can do laborous jobs. And if our parents didn't want to pay for our inable asses, they wouldn't have had either 1) unprotected sex 2) A planned pregnancy. Rapes are the only exception to the rule.

Didn't say they didn't want to pay for you. Just saying it demands a certain amount of discipline and loyalty. And most teenagers don't even know what labor is.

I love my parents to death. They gave me life, and have nurtured me all these years, I acknowledge that, and yet certain aspects of things they do urk me slightly.
Like, they're making me take a flight out to somewhere over winter break, even though I'm completely phobic of planes. Like, I almost pass out when I go on them because they bother me so much. I also have cried on flights because i've gotten so scared. And yet, they're forcing me to do this.
Other than that, they're the best parents anyone could ask for, and I'm insanely grateful to have them. I'd be lost without them. <3

And I support myself mostly, thank you.
I do have a job and I pay for everything I do myself.
My home is little more than the bed I sleep in at night. That is all.
