And so it was here that the two parties met up again, each hoping to overcome their dangerous quests and continue to fight for the Light. Each fight for their own cause with their own reasons, but ultimately, it comes down friendship. Some would even say kinship as they have been colleagues for so long. A family of strangers endebted to each other with their very lives. This is the essence of these travelers.

Illian is filled with inns everwhere. It is in one of these ordinary establishments that the group has come to reside in for the time being to catch up on their journeys and share what happened. Or, for some, to hide what happened. While this may be a group of trusting members, not all information is welcomed. Sometimes silence is the best answer.

It is here, in this inn filled with common folk that they work towards their next grand adventure. But adenture is not what they call their quests anymore. Now, these quests are called duty. And these duties they perform are to help dictate the balance between the Light over the Shadow.

Jazral stay on the main streets. dispite his personal preferance, it wouldnt do to have a group of people sneaking about allyways. This many people had always botherd him, but he pushed that aside and tryed to stay as non chalent as possible...maybe it was just his paranoia but it did seem awfully suspicious. After a while the finaly reached the in. befor Aorn too it seemd. As he entered the Inn he gave a nod to the innkeeper and proceeded to the back room they had reserved and was at least relitively safe from evesdropers. Jazral took a seat and smiled.
"Welcome back my friends, it is good to see you again"

At the corner table a young woman slept, buried deep into her dreams by alcohol and a lot of it. Her raven colored hair covered her face and was draped down her back and arms, she wore a lace up blouse made of thin material that clung to her body and a pair of breeches that were tight on her hips but loose in the leg area. Her shoes were elegant black slippers with lace like stitching done in green thread; they were only thing on her body that marked her as having gold.

When some of the other patrons started to fill in the room with their morning chatter Selene's alcohol induced sleep started to wear off, voices came to her, one she thought she recognized but she doubted it was her warder. Hunching her shoulders up she groaned in pain, a hangover was starting to form. Slowly she lifted her head and blinked at the lights. "What? Who said it could be morning yet?"

Whimpering she rested her head back on her arms and asked a serving girl to bring her a glass of water and some leftover stew if there was any to be had. And bread, lots of bread. Somewhere in her mind she wondered just where Jazral was, mentally she poked the ball that was him and untied the scarf around it. Suddenly her mind filled with him, he was close, wincing at the emotions she curled her arms around her head and whined in pain. This was the last time she ever, ever, got into a drinking match with some of the Atha'an Miere sailors. Especially the men.

Groaning she sat up as her order was brought to her, slowly she began eating, very slowly. Her head was throbbing now; when she found Jazral she had intentions of boxing his ears for doing this to her head. He shouldn't hurt her like this, it wasn't nice. The serving girls decided to watch her in case she got the first sign of puking, they didn't know how much one person could hold down and they all certainly knew Selene had had more then her share.

Jazral winced and felt slightly dizzey as Selene unblocked him again. This was one time he wished she had kept him blocked "light what has that women gotten herself into now. Jazral tried to shake the pain from his head, but it didnt help much...in fact it probably made it worse.
looking up he saw the vexed look on the other's faces. He stood up and gave a slight bow. "Excuse me my friends. I must go and see what Selene Sedai has gotten herself into this time." He turned left, only to find Selene in the common room sitting at a table, clearly suffering from from a severe hangover..which would explane his head.

"Light Selene, what have you done this time?" Jazral chuckled "Another drinking contest no dought. Anyway. Come we have some old friends here to visit us" Jazral led selene into the back room where the others were sitting and sat Selene and himself down, trying to keep his head from spinning

Kurai sighed. She looked from Addin to Darz and back to her fathers breast plate.
"Aorn should be here soon." She stood and walked to the door. "I will go down and tell him we have a bit of a situation."

The inn was as he remembered it: lightly cluttered and homey. It was a comfort to find a place that resembled something other than trash or a spotless showroom. He noticed the innkeeper, his old friend, and smiled at him but did not stop. The smile was returned but no contact was made. Following Jazral, he took a seat in the reserved room, glad to unload his gear and take a seat.

"It is good to be back among friends," he replied to Jazral. Weariness crept into his voice, but he pushed it away before it became anything more. "I will share details of our journey when Aorn and the others arrive." He really didn't want to repeat himself. He didn't have the energy to do that just yet.

Nikoru looked around the inn, after following Markus and the others in. Seeing familiar faces made her happier than she thought possible. It seemed as though ages had passed since she saw them last. Grinning for the first time in a while, a truly genuine smile, she nodded once to what Markus said to Jazral.

"It is not good. It's wonderful."

Sitting down gratefully, she let out a relieved laugh, just under her breath.

"Lets hope so. Im sure he'll like to question the darkfriend also.
and/or he'll see reason, unlike Darz , to just do away with her and be on our way. "

Darz

Darz doesn't pay any attention to Addin. Though he is sure Addin hasn't fallen from the light, he certainly seems to behave that way. Darz is sure whoever this Aorn is won't do the Forsaken's bidding in simply slaying this suldam, no matter her crimes. Darz isn't sure of much of anything, at the moment, as he sits to think, looking out the window. Things look so distant to him...foreign, even. He can't shake the feeling that he looks upon scenery he's never seen.

OOC: Arg, this was going to be the first post before I got kicked off the computer... xp

Denath Guir stumbled, nearly falling, the current of the crowded streets threatening to pull the young man down and crush him. Murmuring unheard apologies to the harsh, uncaring faces of those he had bumped, he scanned the packed street quickly for Jazral. This was no easy task considering the other man was a trained Warder with no desire to be noticed.

Another violent shove from behind caused him to stumble yet again, the only apology a string of the most colorful curses he had ever heard. Shaking his head Denath wished that they had already left Illian well behind. How could these people be so inconsiderate as if no one else existed? How could they act like every problem was that of someone else and that they could do no wrong themselves? That the Seanchan were in control of the city was bad enough, but the people! It made Denath wish that he were back in the Two Rivers, back on his father's tabac farm. At least there people were actually considerate to one another and he could walk down a street without fear of some random stranger pushing him over and looking the other way as the he was trampled.

Attempting a quick glance behind him, Denath noticed that Nikoru's Warder, a man named Markus, was nowhere to be seen, nor was any of the others who had been following Jazral. He craned his neck, trying to fight down the panic, searching for some landmark that would give him some indication as to where the inn was. Straining against the crowd he managed to work himself into a little pocket of space provided by some crates lining the side of one of the many shops. Leaning against one of the crates in the shadow of the overhanging eaves he took a deep breath, glad to be out of the crowd and have enough space to feel like he wasn't about to suffocate. He tried to relax, appearing as nonchalant as he could scanning the crowds in such a manner that he hoped would not draw any attention to himself.

Suddenly something sharp dug into the small of his back none to kindly. His hands hesitated between going for his staff and his father's short sword. That instant of hesitation was enough for the assailant to knock the staff away from Denath. Before he could react another blow sent Denath to sprawling to the ground. He groped for his sword, the scabbed empty. The sword tip at his throat told him exactly where it had gone.

"Now why do the young ones always try and be brave?" came a reedy voice of the assailant, barely heard over the hustle and bustle of the busy street and the cries of hawkers. Denath frantically searched for help from any passerby. No one even so much as glanced in his direction. He knew some of them could not have helped but of see him laying there, a sword point at his throat. A dry laugh emerged from the depths of the cowl. "Now, why de ye no be a good boy and hand over all your valuables?"

Gwynne started sharply at Jazral's words. Until that point, she had been mostly ignoring everyone, but his motion towards her and Tazmin had caught her attention. "You have the look of a Warder, wolfbrother," she answered. "Does your kind now thread the White Tower? Or are you and Nikoru Sedai" - her emphasis on Nikoru's title was sharp and not at all respectful - "simply special?" She failed to give her name.

This womens responce was the last thing he had expected....such direct comments about his liniage were rare to say the least...especily ones that involved the white tower. The warder comment hand surprised as much she had obviously been traviling with Nikoru and Markus sometime now. "No.. my kind are still quite rare, As for the fact that two wolfkin have come out of the tower in recent years. it is really not all that surpriseing, times have changed as of late miss...uh...I'm sorry, what was your name?
"
This women smelled deeply of many negitive emotions, it wasnt any wonder she seemed slightly distracted. Jazral wondered whta was going on in her head, maybe once the otheres returned and everybody was brought up to date he would understand more

* knowing that it would be some time before Aorn actually arived he walked over to a chair and waited, however unpatiently and wondered why he was so hesitent in just getting ride of the suldam his way.
Just thinking of the way he gave in to darz started to make his blood boil.
Normaly a patient man he was getting more agitated as time went on with nothing to do but wait.
Passing time by checking his pack to make sure he wasnt missing anything he grabed sharpening stone and begane working out a nick or two in a throwing dagger he had receintly acquired. Hopeing to annoy Darz with it he took delebrate slow strokes,
Wissk wisskk` the sound of metal being ground on the stone filled the room. Grinning to himself he continued

Gwynne was well aware of the abilities of wolfkin to smell emotion, and made no attempt to hide hers from the silver-haired man. "So they have," she replied, completely ignoring his inquiry as to her name. "The Lord Dragon stands with enemies who would enslave him all around. Do you stand with or against the Tower in this, wolfbrother?" A cold, joyless smile distorted her face, almost cruel with irony.
