The lost soul

The story:
Traveling admits air ship to an island were great magic is said to be, the air ship is lost to another island. Stranded among the ruins of an ancient civilization the party is separated by a creature whose power is greater then there own. This creature is legend in most fray tales. The beast hides underground and in the forests. The dwarves call it an Aligotheriat, meaning “great wild” the beast will rip you limb from limb; it will devour your soul and crunch your bones. But then again these are all farie tales right?

As the party of the air ship is separated two guys are killed protecting a girl who is said to have greater magic but she can’t tap into it. The two guys are slaughtered and she is forced to watch as her beloved is killed. The beast flings her far across the island through the forest. When she lands she is knocked out cold. Only to awake with horrific images a ripped dress and world of new adventure.

Opening:
She wakes in the middle of the forest. Her pain throbbing in her head. She sits up to see her dress ripped and her arm is bleeding. Although it is not broken she fears the others are dead. The forest is silent and the sun shines bright. Trapped on an island with a beast that is no were to be seen, although she knows its watching, waiting, hunting ,wanting to kill her. She fears her life. Her face is tears streaked.

She stands to look around. It’s a typical forest with growth and trees and vines. It’s full of life as the birds chirp and the breeze is cool. There is a river not far from were she is.

She walks on over and washes up. She drinks from the river. She knows her fate. Although she must get back to the air ship. But the problem is, she doesn’t know were she is, or were she was going…she doesn’t even know who she is….
