I write because I fail at anything art despite my love for it. I see stories and images in all things and they bubble in my mind, confined to their cauldron with no mold to fill. I would have no outlet in the land of physical images so I turn to the land of Syntax, hefting my dictionary in one hand and my keyboard in the other to find an outlet for my creativity. I would surely go mad for it simply furiates me to see so mething but being unable to draw it, so instead I paint my portraits upon the canvas of paper and screens, words my paint, vocabulary my texture. I write because I can, because it brings me pleasure and those that read my work pleasure. Ultimately it is my goal to publish, not for the money (though it is an added bonus to the rewards of literature) but because of the sense of accomplishment "I may not draw or paint, but my words will craft images unique in their own way! I am a writer, my pen my sword, the book my shield! The stimulation of imagination the rewards of my quest!" it cries to me. In some ways I write for satisfaction, in others to entertain, or I write simply because I can. I write to improve, to enjoy the fruits of success both physical and emotional. And most of all, I write so that I may find those specific stories that strike a chord in my mind that sings so sweetly to me that I must put those notes and images to paper as I place those precious seeds of thought into the soil of imagination.

-Cut Drama-

I kind of jump between the different arts, never really mastering any of them. I've done some drawing, which is all well and good aslong as we forget about backgrounds and preffearbly also perspective, and human anatomy I will never understand. I've done some sculpting wich is kind of fun but I don't know I never stick with it I guess. I enjoyed sewing when I was a kid, but it gets boring fast, the process of creation is so dull it dosn't really make up for the end result. I've tried wood and metal working which is also fun but I simply can't do that in an aparment.. that and I'm allergic to wood (don't ask, I don't know either.).

so currently I'm writing, I tend to mainly jump between drawing and writing cause my brain seems to have two ways of thinking, one is in images and then I can't write to save my life, just give me anything that you can draw with and I will draw. The other is in words, and then I can't draw to save my life.

But alas, I'm not really good with either, I wouldn't say I completley suck with either, but I'm just a happy amateur, and a lazy one at that who has a huge issue with actually getting started, and once I start I have an issue actually finnishing it, but in the end I enjoy it once I'm doing it so I'll keep doing it even if I'll never be a pro at either. It's a way to make time fly, let loose your imagination and test just how creative you are, and if you enjoy it does it really matter if you will never get published, aslong as you yourself is having fun, right?
