Remember how I said I was bringing four costumes with me to Fanime? Well, when I said that, one was finished, one needed to be updated, and the other two weren't started yet. And that one that was finished is getting a prop added.

April 14:
Today I finished painting the bracelets and anklets, but I don't know how I'm going to do the waist and neck bands yet. Oh yeah, and a few days ago I ripped open some of the stitches so the slits on either side go up an additional four inches.

April 28:
I'm mostly done as I need it for Friday, but I still need to make a neck band, a weist band, and make a slight adjustment to smooth out the hem on the front section.

The poses are a little awkward, but I was just trying to get details with my built-in camera.

May 2:
All I need now is a bit of ribbon to hold the belt and neck band closed, and I'm good to go!

May 13:
Today I re-attatched the grommits in my belt and choker using hot glue, made a couple small modifications to the main white part of the dress, and packed the stuff that does not have to be washed before the con.

May 9:
Today I bought fabric.

May 19:
I start the white part of the costume today, and I think I finally figured out how to costruct the braids. Progress is slow.
