Strange title I know. This is a puppet I made for one of my early childhood education courses. We had to create a puppet on some type of safety. I chose traffic and street safety. There is a puppet script that goes along with him for the teacher to use, but I won't include that here, as I don't want it to end up stolen in some fashion, as it is my own writing.

Materials used:

acrylic paint
1 liter bottles
2 socks
elastic
newspaper (to stuff head)
plastic knife (for stop sign handle)
printed stop sign

haha thanks. He's not too big I'd say. You've got the 1 liter bottle size and the elastic allows him to "sit" on your lap, plus the head. He's the perfect size for a puppet.

The design was my own and the basic body can be used for many other puppets. Off hand when I was doing it I thought of cat, dog, and horse puppets using the design. The body with the elastic extensions would just be turned so it'd be four legged. The hands and feet were made with the tops of plastic bottles, right where the curves become the straight part of the bottle.

On another note, I should post the Evil Yoshi puppet I made for my art for teachers class. We had to put on a puppet show and he's made from large brown paper. Yeah I should really post him.
