Rain poured down around Clair as she walked silently, her bright eyes wet with tears. She glanced behind her, wondering if he would follow but let out a desperate cry of sadness. Pulling her long, wet, an elegant hair from her face she looked up as she walked slowly. She knew it was a dream, it had to be a dream. Her thoughts moved to how he had always smiled at her so gently, how his dark, mischievous eyes had always seemed friendly, now as she remember his expression she felt cold.
His dark eyes had been narrowed and bitter, his auburn hair had been covering his face slightly, and his fists had been clenched. She felt another wave of sorrow wash over her as she remember this. Shaking her head, in a desperate attempt to free herself, she pulled her drenched coat to her frail figure. Then she heard an angry shout and the slamming of a door. Frightened, she spun around. A man with short, choppy hair stood behind her frozen. Then he grinned, his k-nine teeth where oddly pointed, without really thinking Clair swallowed and turned herself around breathing as normally as she could as she quickened her pace.
The man’s cool voice meet her ears and she froze, it was oddly charming, “What is a cute thing like you doing all by yourself?” she could hear him moving swiftly to her side. Now she could feel his breath on her neck, it was warm but sent odd shudders of cold through her body. Suddenly she felt his hands on her waist, this brought her slightly back into reality and she struggled free of his hard grip.
“Leave her be.” Came a voice, Clair had been trying to speak so was surprised to see, as she turned around an auburn haired man with dark eyes fixed on the man who had confronted her.
The man whom she didn’t know smirked, “Why should I?” he questioned as he took a step away from me, and in that instant the other man had moved swiftly between the other man and Clair. His auburn hair clinging to his wet face he grinned and shoved the other man to the ground with his odd strength, “Because, wolves always fight over a lamb and it just so happens I know this lamb.”
Clair wanted so badly to hug the man before her, Leo, but held herself back as he got rid of the other man, who was now trying his best to get away. After several minuets of Clair just sitting there Leo returned to her side, “Are you ok?” he questioned, his familiar scent engulfing her even in the rain. She nodded very slightly and then looked up into his black eyes, they where soft and apologetic, “I’m very, very sorry…You have-“
She cut him of as she her desperate and saddened look became obvious to him. He looked away, his whole manner showing how ashamed he was, but as he heard Clair begin to sob he gulped down his pride and hugged her to him and then lifted her frail body into his arms with obvious easy. “Let’s go.” He said as he walked swiftly back toward his apartment.
