The Story:
When I joined Gaia (well, came back) I decided to open a charity. However, I decided that this would be no ordinary charity. No, this would be a house charity! 'Lo and behold, I didn't get one person asking for a donation. Because I owned a charity, I was invited to join a charity guild, which I gladly joined. As I was surfing around, I became friends with a girl named SamTheBlob. I told her that if she needed a donation to her house (she was trying to make one that looked good) she should come and ask me. She saw that I was looking for help in the front page of my thread, and came to me with a suggestion:
SAM: Hey...
SAM: I have an odd thought
Buncy: yeh?
SAM: well, you know how me and you are doing our chairities alone
Buncy: totally would be a good idea
SAM: and the gold comes from our pokets
SAM: i havent finshed
SAM: lol
Buncy: oh, okay
Buncy: go on then
SAM: lol
SAM: What if We sort of combined our charities together.....
SAM: like for one thread and you would cover the house stuff and i would cover the items
SAM: and wed share a mule
Buncy: that sounds like a good idea *nod* i told you from the start it was ^_^
SAM: lol
SAM: so you knew what i was going to say?
Buncy: more or less
And thus the YwBc charity was born.
Why YwBc? And what does it stand for?
If you look at our banner, it stands for Yay Watermelon! Boo Cheese!
The story behind this name is kind of strange. I had made a banner for my charity, which you can see in my signature (I just changed it slightly for the new charity). The random girl (who sent me a random PM and I decided to use her avatar) said "yay watermelon!" a few times during the signature. I made a banner for Sam for her charity, in which it dissed cheese (the random girl was not origionaly in that one). When we were deciding on names for the charity, the thing that we came up with first was Yay Watermelon, Boo Cheese. We also used these names for our mules.
