Attention!
The Metool Epet project has CANCELED. Due to both lack of interest and time, I have long longer been able to develop on these.
I appologize for any inconvienience.

The Metool Epets (MEEPs) are a virtual pet built and created in a virtual world. Living in their own personal haven, the MEEPs are independent and very social creatures, each having it's own personality and style of living. MEEPs, unlike any other pet, can change their appearence and name according the the owners preference at any given time though an care centre provided at adoption. MEEPs, being a computer generated species, constantly have the change to upgrade and grow whenever new software is made... and maybe even becoming a new creature all together. Never has such a creature been released into the Gaian public... no one knows what could happen.

The above critter is what's known as a MEEP, a friendly species of fully customizable creatures avalible on any number of cards and backgrounds. MEEPs are what's known as an Epet/Isig series creature avalible exclusively at this thread and avalible to Gaia online members only... Complete with their own care center, MEEPs are totally customizable, and require little and/or no maintainance to own. Own your own today!</center>

Finally the pieces are falling together. The MEEP Helmet icon is fixed, and the accessories finally have a scripting concept... I hope it'll be up soon.

All payments for MEEPs are postponed untill I fix the system. So, current owners do not have to pay untill everything is fixed. Additionally, I will be giving owners a gift accessory at cristmas time. Merry Cristmas ^_^.

The new news and comment system is up at the Care Centre! Additionally, the MEEPs are going though some new testing phases with customization. If I am successful, there will be over 16 million colors to select from. Let's hope I get it right....

There's some problems with the server today, so if your MEEP turns into a red "X", or the shop images don't load, you know the reason.

I've updated my shop button and started on the Xmas items... The santa hat's gonna be a tough one, but some how, I'll get it done. I really need artists...

Notice: MEEP cards (the backgrounds) may be removed due to errors in the enviroment dealing with them. I appoligize if this is nessisary.

Still adding accessories to the MEEPs, and added a new plan. I hope to incorporate more Gaian items into the system soon. So far, my beta testers have a few new items on. Oh, and if your MEEP turns into a red "X", that's more than likely a PHP error, and I am working to correct it.

2. Use Good English - This is a place of buisness, and as such, I wish to keep the posts at a certain standard. Please check spelling, punctuation, capitalization, ect before posting.

3. Do not harrass anyone on this thread - If you feel as though you have to harass and/or flame me, one of the staff, or anyone else for that matter, please do so on the chatterbox.

4. Do not steal an Epet - Downloading and Epet will result in non-fuctionality, inability to customize, and upgrade loss.

5. Do not complain about the prices - The only time prices will change is when a sale is going on, or when I feel as though they are too low/high. You may request a price change, but there is no guarantee that it will.

6. No spamming - Though I shouldn't have to even post this, I feel as though someone will go though as spam the place up anyhow. Spamming is defined as anything of an off-topic or non-sensical nature.

7. No Advertising - Please don't advertise in my store. It's impolite and against the rules, so don't do it.

8. No Begging for new accessories - They will come in good time... till then please be patient.

What is a MEEP?
MEEP is short for Metool Epet. MEEPs are customizable creatures that live in the signatures of Gaian dwellers, ever growing with each view and eventually becoming something else. As for what hasn't been planned yet, but soon the MEEPs will rule.

What is a Metool?
Metool is, the the words of Darksoul Forte, "The indestructable robots that wear hardhats and attack with picks" from numerious Mega Man games. Thanks Darksoul for the idea!

How do I customize my MEEP?
You can change the name of your MEEP by clicking the wrench icon in the menu in the care centre and editing the content of the box labeled "Pet name", then hitting the "Submit Changes" button. The MEEP itself can be changed by clicking the MEEP icon in the care centre, and selecting what you want your MEEP to look like. Bronze Members cannot customize their MEEP in any way besides it's name. Silver Members can select from a few pre-built MEEP models, and select a background of choice. Gold Members can mix and match their MEEP and background however they want... You get what you pay for.

How do I change my MEEP's name?
See "How do I customize my MEEP?"

Do I need to Feed/Take care of my MEEP?
At this time, no. MEEPs are independent of hunger and need for attention. These features will be added at a later time, and will be able to be enabled or disabled in the settings.

What do experience (XP) and Levels do?
They are unimportant at the moment, but will one day be used for customizations, evolutions, and battle... One day.

How do I gain XP/levels?
Experience (XP) is based on the number of views and your plan level. 1 view is equal to 1 XP for the Bronze Plan, 5 for the Silver plan, and 10 for the Gold plan... Again, you get what you pay for. Your MEEP's level is determined by the experience, more specifically XP/1000 (rounded up to the nearest whole number).

Why do I need to enter my password to change my settings?
This is an effort to improve security. A person will have to take the extra step to assure that the options selected are, indeed, what they want. In addition, this helps to provent hacking on from the same computer... Let's say you are on a public computer and leave without logging out. One could easily change your settings and password from that computer at this time without this feature... Sure it's an additional step, but isn't your MEEP worth it?

Why do you charge for MEEPs?
Simply put, I need to make sure the MEEPs aren't abused. I have limited bandwidth and database space, so if I let everyone have one for free, no one would be able to have one.

Sure. Just click here to get there, and please bookmark it if you plan to change your MEEP a lot.

Do you accept bumps?
Yes, in fact, I encourage them. I will be making an award program for bumpers sometime in the future.
