Auction coming soon!

Plan of action:

1. Finish set of auctions.
2. Introduce higher-level organisms.
3. Possibly, another run of auctions.
4: Introduce the third tier of organisms.
5: Another run of auctions.

After that... Who knows? These planets are limited only by my artwork and my schedule, so I'll see what I can get for you. *grins*

Here are the planets that require supervision. Planetary supervision entails a few responsibilities. It is a privilege, not a right, and should be treated as such. The responsibilities and obligations of planetary supervision are as follows:

1. There is a 4000g fee for assuming the position of supervisor. This is non-negotiable.

2. The planet must not be neglected. We reserve the right to reassign planets from those not performing their duties.

These two things are the sole, cardinal obligations of supervision. neglecting either of these is the only way to lose rights to your planet.

Supervision of a planet is easy, but not necessarily simple. All one needs to do is make sure that life has an opportunity to grow. The organisms you put down on the surface will do the rest. Now, terraforming has three parts to it. First, the supervisor must create a good living environment. Next, life must be introduced into that environment. Finally, life must be nurtured to allow it to advance and evolve.

Creating a good environment:
Life needs certain things to survive. One of these is water. Water is essential to life. Ice and vapor are good to have, but life requires that they be liquid. This, therefore, requires that your planet have a climate that supports liquid water, not too hot or too cold. There are several options for adjusting the climate and water content of your planet, all detailed below in the "Supplies" section.

Introducing life:
Another thing that life needs to survive is other life. When making a planet habitable, one needs to start small, putting microorganisms and plant life on the surface before moving up to larger animals. To do this, you purchase the genetic code from the supplies division; our teams will take care of distributing it onto your planet. Before the Supplies Division will give you the code for a animal or plant, however, your planet must be able to support that form of life. There must be food and water for that life to survive. Be careful... If you're still terraforming, any climate changes could potentially wipe out a food chain, destroying your work so far.

Nurturing life:
Once you have a basic form of life established, you may want to consider advancing your planet's ecosystem by adding in complex forms such as large herbivores and carnivorous species. Life like this can potentially evolve into interesting and even sentient forms of life, making your planet a quite interesting one to visit.
Evolution is brought about by conflict and competition between species. Conflict weeds out the weaker members of a species, allowing for progress. The more forms of life there are on a planet, the faster and farther life will evolve. As you observe your planet's progress, you may notice the emergence of a dominant species. The information on the species will be added to your display cycle, and you can monitor progress from there.

To shape your planet, you need supplies. To buy supplies, please fill out the following order form and send it to TriskDaemon, who will then inform you of any problems with your order (life-form not supported, things like that) before sending it to Ceres Distribution. Please avoid sending trades until AFTER Trisk has cleared your form.

Terraforming services

Ceres has a terraforming department that would be glad to help you shape the climate and structure of your world. The following services are available:

-Shunt Comet: A comet is redirected to orbit your world, and chunks of it are cut off to burn up in your atmosphere, increasing water content.
Fee: 2000g

-Carbon Bomb: Terreformers release massive amounts of carbon dioxide into the air, making your planet retain heat and become warmer.
Fee: 2000g

-Carbon Sink: The opposite of carbon bomb, this quickly absorbs some of the carbon dioxide in your atmosphere, cooling your planet.
Fee: 2000g

Genetic Code

We at Ceres Genetics are pleased to offer some of the best in genetic samples for population of planets.

Basic Plants:

Lichen is our basic life-form, utilizing a symbiosis of plant and fungus to survive tough conditions. This form can survive under any conditions existing on your planet. Good subsistence food for small organisms.
Cost: 100g
Quantity available: 5

Moss is a more advanced plant, but it needs water to grow. This particular variant can grow regardless of temperature, but prefers rocks to latch onto. Also good for small organisms to feed upon.
Cost: 100g
Quantity available: 2

This strain is a good basis for a food chain, prolific and nourishing. It is a modified strain that can survive underwater as well, providing food for all forms of life. It needs water to grow, and will grow well in temperate or warmer climes.
Cost: 200g
Quantity available: 2

Basic Animals:

Plankton are a staple of any smaller sea creature's diet, providing excellent nourishment. They need abundant water and aquatic plants to survive.
Cost: 200g
Quantity available: 2

Protozoa are small organisms that can serve as a part of the food chain for small marine life. They require abundant water and some aquatic plants to live.
Cost: 200g
Quantity available: 2

Bacteria are highly useful, a multipurpose organism that can serve as a very basic food chain part, a decomposer, and a disease agent. Having bacteria makes your lower-level animals multiply faster, your plants grow better, and your animals evolve quicker. Can survive anywhere.
Cost: 300g
Quantity available: 3

Plants:

Deciduous trees are a big part of any ecosystem, holding soil together and creating a shady area for plants to grow. Needs water, grows best in a temperate clime on flat land.
Cost: 500g
Quantity available: 1

Conifers are an alternative to deciduous trees, more versatile in climate preference and terrain type. Needs some water, grows in all temperatures and terrain types.
Cost:500g
Quantity available: 1

Bushes are a nice way to feed larger herbivorous animals, spreading over flat ground densely. Needs some water, can grow in any climate and terrain type.
Cost: 500g
Quantity available: 2

The store is working on making more supplies available. Keep checking back for updates!
